Its written in the OP under the bugs section that Earpiece does not work. But you can make it work by using the Soundabout app which is available on the PlayStore for free

Soundabout apps only work Handsfree jack. But the Earpiece does not work.

I am tempted to try this coming from the most recent DU build, but couldn't find a definitive features list other than the few choice ones on the main site. I'm getting some terrible battery drain. According to BBS, there it's comnig from NfcService:mRoutingWakeLock. I can't toggle the NFC on or off either.

Hmm i did even clean install with that kernel update and nothing changed, still same problem, im on twrp 2.8.7 maybe i should try philz?
Thankyou for this Miui rom for honor 4x. But will you please elaborate how to flash this rom in Che1L04 ?? I tried with twrp, first by flashing the kernel -> then the rom and it went to fastboot mode after restart. I also tried simply flashing the rom. It made my phone sleep to some unknown state after seeing honor logo. I request anyone to help me with the procedure.

the base is on shujaths cm13 which doesnt have backlight enabled by default
and its not a bug
and even if you think its a bug u can report it to Shujath a.k.a the base rom provider
Just curious. Why didn't you port with the newest Grand 2 LineageOS rom in the first place?

DO this ROM hav WIfi Drop issue like the Base ROM? I think yes becoz of device tree issue

for some issues porting on los gives loop for some security patches and the port rom was based on cm13 so i didnt acted like a nut and ported it on cm13

idk i didnt got on mine
it varies device to device
The Xda and Xda labs apps also crash , calendar and wether apps icons seem bugged , plus the network connection icon in the statusbar that you mentioned in the OP
Rom seems pretty awesome except these "bugs" that I found
bugs i found
I found these bugs
1. some apps icons are missing
2. Second sim some times crash
3. Bit laggy
4. Playservice crash
5. Additional audio settings not working.. forced close
6. Xposed doesn't work. stuck on boot
Overall this rom is cool..good for daily usage:victory::good:laugh:

I think if you have time and of course you want, you should try to rebase your rom with this base instead https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-2/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-galaxy-grand-2-t3485393.
And btw, can you tell me which device you've chosen to use its rom to port MIUI to grand 2? I mean port device .
during the first step in setup wizard , settings app keeps crashing so I can't finish the setup
Edit: I skipped the setup and all works fine except for some force closes

I think they're supposed to have dynamic icons.
Choosing gestures in stocksettings crashes the settings app
Trying to change vibration intensity ( ie tapping the option and pressing Ok / reset ) crashes the settings app
Panorama crashes the camera app
Trying to change iso in the MIUI camera app crashes it
Comapss app crashes when opened

I am myself using this ROM as my daily driver
Sot - around 5hrs
Usage smooth
Bugs are same as mentioned

Presume because it is based on the Chinese MIUI, not the global.

I am tuning one stable ROM of Miui 10 but it is based on Oreo [8.1]

No backlight on navigation keys

Backlight buttons are fixed day's now... just press on contributors page at phone info and check le_x2 contributors for le_x2..
I don't know why this unknown developer removed multilanguages and Gapps inside rom.. maybe because is for China use..
