Hi,
same problem here... I got a X722 with unlocked bootloader so I kept the ROM as is and just installed TWRP. Touch screen doesn't work. Is there a recommended ROM version I need to install in order to make the touchscreen work ?

reboots twrp without entering the system. After installing a custom ROM (lineage for example) it will work

Hi,
How do you know your phone is a zl1cn ? I thought that X720 were zl1 and X722 were zl0
I have the same problem as you so I'm guessing...
I installed TWRP 3.1.1 for zl1 too. After pushing the power button twice touch screen is working in recovery. Why ? Is it safe to install Lineage on this phone ?

Twrp
Hi. I installed twrp 3.2.1.0 zl0 codeworkx, a Little bug in start twrp, resolved by codeworkx, i installed all rom Oreo 8.1 that i can find on web (mokee, aicp, aosip, lineage, rremix...)

I tried all versions of TWRP 3.2.1.0 (zl0, Zl1, codeworkx) and none of them are working on my X722.
The only version where touch screen works is 3.1.1 zl1

Why are u flashing beacon kernel on it?
Simply just flash the rom and reboot. Rom has inbuilt modified beacon kernel there's no need to flash the kernel.

OPENKIRIN Honor 7x official roms

As some of you might know, open kirin's team has posted on their site many treble roms compatible with the honor 7x. They are all available on this website:
https://openkirin.net/download/
So I thought this thread could allow everyone to say which rom is best for him
Looks good ...
I am waiting for Lineage to come out of Beta
Has anyone tried both the phhusson and OpenKirin versions of Lineage?
I'm currently running Lineage v4 from phhusson's Treble-experimentations github, but I'm curious if anyone has tried both and can compare?
I'm runing phhusson's lineageos , will try this version.
I feel like this is the wrong place to post something like this, @OldDroid and other developers will do so here at their leisure...

I have tried, OpenKirin's LOS is by far superior.
It passes SafetyNet and is much more stable and optimized for Huawei devices.
I am currently testing RRos 6.0.0 which has been posted on XDA, but I plan to install Lineage OS beta 4, Can I flash it over the other rom without having to do a complete wipe? Does anyone know if gapps are included in the rom?

I want to know if i can install these roms on emui 5.1. I read in support it requires emui 8?
And please provide a good rom to upgrade to,from emui 5.1 if i can't install openkirin roms. Thanks

The Reason openkirin works on EMUI 8 is treble support which EMUI 5.1 doesn't have. Update your phone EMUI 8 then you can try any treble rom rom like openkirin, pH treble.

Clean flash it. Wipe cache + format it
Running the LOS beta4 build now, and its looking really good...
It took me a few tries to get a stable install. First couple of installs I was getting a ton of force-close on various apps. I'm wondering if it might have been due to me trying to use the Lineage SU addon, instead of magisk? I think I tried to install via TWRP once or twice, too, rather than through fastboot.
As of this moment, Ive got it running with the OpenKirin build of TWRP, and magisk 16.4 and it even seems to pass SafetyNet check!
Final good install steps were:
- boot into TWRP, do advanced wipe of all but SD card, then format (the "yes" option one)
- install the LOSbeta4 to system from fastboot ( fastboot flash system openkirin_los_beta4.img )
- boot OS and do basic android config
- reboot into TWRP, install magisk 16.4, clear davlik/cache, reboot to OS
- install magiskmanager 5.7
- ???
- profit
Thanks again for the heads-up on these builds...

Can I install Xposed on Poco F1 ?

Hi,
Well, everything is pretty much in the title...
I have tried to install several GSI Treble images, but that was almost always a "No-Go" because it either did not even install, or it installed but did not boot or it booted but too many severe problems...
So, until someone releases a proper dedicated ROM for the POCO, I would like to stick to stock, but would like to be able to make a liitle more than what MIUI allows.
So I am wondering : has someone successfully installed XPosed framework on the Pocophone ?
Regards.

You already have the xposed downloaded. Boot into twrp and install xposed. Somehow doing this, it actually help me boot into system. No, the xposed will not be installed but there's no more bootloop. After installing xposed from twrp remember to clear cache/dalvik and reboot into system. That worked for me without wiping anything.

Ok I'm on miui 10 rooted too please give your Xposed zip that you flash on it please
Ok, because the file exceeds maximum size of 8 mb that can be uploaded as a zip, i cannot put it here, yet this is the module downloaded from Magisk manager, there's also another version you can find there (one is Xposed framework sdk 27 and the other is Xposed framework v89, so read the descriptions before installing), but remember, on my case, flashing / installing xposed did not worked, and i got stuck on boot. There's still options you can bring your phone back from bootloop, as the ones mentioned above, yet there's still a possibility to experience another issues, so please understand that i do not find myself responsible for whatever you choose to do with these files.
This xposed module can be installed in twrp or in Magisk manager.

Having trouble flashing TWRP trough fastboot, keep getting a small white line at the top left corner. Any idea how to avoid this, and have TWRP installed as recovery?
I use the one which is on crDroid's sourceforge page. Its called TWRP 3.3.0 beryllium fixed. It works fine for me, decrypts and touch seems fine. I tried that 3.3.1 unofficial, but that couldnt decrypt for me, it wouldnt recognise my pattern.

I don't know exactly from which one he chose, but the downloads page is this one: https://downloads.descendant.me/
I flashed descendantOS GSI on Dipper. The ROM was stable and smooth but there are some issues (maybe for me only) quick panel was not properly working. Hope that someone will build for Dipper someday any ideas to fix??
