Looks and feels really great. Any known issues? I haven't found any so far.
The update via OTA isn't working right. It say's it's downloading, but it doesn't. When you cancel the download it says it has completed - but the MD5 doesn't pass.
There's a thread for every update for this ROM? I've counted three or so - it makes it really hard to follow and get updates and report issues. I encourage you to consider creating a singular thread to help eliminate confusion.
I've had a nagging issue with getting LTE to work- not VoLTE just regular old LTE data. I don't know if it's a ROM issue or a Pwag Issue. I connect find to Sprint (Ting) on global - but if I switch to LTE nothing - no voice or anything. Through the about menu/phone info I can see that the networks are indeed available - my spouses phone connects to LTE from the same locations - but for me - nothing.
Any ideas?

OTA has should be fixed now... The team had issues with OTA since soruceforge was down... Our new build is back at SF and things should be fine mate. For the LTE issue.. it works in other ROMs ?

I don't know. I do fine on 3g it's just annoying.
I'll flash another ROM or go back to stock at some point to test and see
How is the battery life? My biggest concern is battery. Around 6/7h of screen time average use? Thanks in advance.

Depends upon your usage mate... Most of the ROMs for potter share the same kernel base.. so ROMs won't affect battery it all depends upon your usage.. make sure to let the ROM settle in for a few days before looking at battery stats

Doing the same thing - but I Can see network activity this time.
Acts like it's downloading, the progress bar doesn't ever fill in. After about an hour I stopped it (all network activity dead) and it failed the MD5 check. I updated manually.

One of the best roms i have used in potter so far. I was using it with noob kernel. The battery backup was really good. I use too many apps so 6hrs sot is pretty good enough for me. This rom has sysserv and exposures which makes theming super smoooooth. More than enough customisations are added already. THe only thing that didnt work when i used it was OTA app. Thanks Sandeep for your awesome work. and thanks to Rajesh for doing the bringup for us. KTHXBYE
I got one issue with Gapps, and that is that the camera app disappears. Other than that it works good.
Anyone get xposed working with this? I tried earlier and ran into some issues.
Also I have an issue where Viper stops processing, but does fine after a reboot - anyone else had an issue?

About Project:
Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod, in the early days of Marshmallow, we even had another name at that point. Later, taking into consideration feedbacks of the very first slew of testers and carefully studying the needs and demands of our users, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. Time went by and Nougat released, and we decided that it was time, Citrus-CAF had to see the daylight. We rebased everything to the brank spanking Nougat released. Later we realized the true potential of CAF tags, how each of them altered the device performance on different SOCs. After a lot of thinking, we decided to keep different sources for difference SOCs in our git and hours of debugging later, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get a taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind , but in time, a lot of people joined us, as each giving their own contibutions.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users, whereas we've Cardinal, to deliver minimal customizations, but the greatest stability!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! Yes, its official now And its still on dec sec patch.
Everything works except for the video recording. it does record but wont save the video.
Workaround : use footej camera app, it saves fine in this one.

Experienced random reboots twice within 10 minutes of span. Had clean flashed the os, without any mods.

Please bring the hardware key customizations ASAP. And also it would be great if the double tap to wake is fixed. It's displaying in display options but not working. Besides these , the ROM is great. It has the fastest boot time and very smooth too.

yea ill try fix the hw_key remapping in the next build and for dt2w, never lol!! it was never meant to be there, i just forgot to remove those overlays from the tree after the rebase

Dev accidentally put the link beside source from what i've noticed

For the sake of clarity - the OP should do this. Always.
This would remove any concerns regarding "spamming".
Is this rom good enough to be a daily driver, i know that it's kind of subjective, what I wanna know is that can I trust this ROM enough to flash before going on a 5 day trip alone where this is the only phone I'll have.

Try yourself and tell us. as of now its good, quite stable. Might be some bug as ROM is in beta
Nice work. Safety net works with out module. Camera working. It's all good. Nice and solid. Even flashed aroma gapps without error. Loving this rom so far buddy

Possibly yes ... With safety net working , this rom is basically stable if u use footej camera ... I have not faced any hiccups upto now ... Volte working fine , but u have to toggle mobile data Everytime u restart the device to activate volte ... That's a small price to pay for a gud rom ...
How is the battery performance

I mean before this thread was created the latest build was 20 Jan now from threads download link it still shows 20 Jan as latest build so was confused both are the same build or different

NO, As of now there is no sim switch off toggle present in any oreo based roms.
But there is a way you can disable network in a specific sim. If you using 3g/4g on sim 1 just choose network mode as LTE only on sim 2. As default in our device only one sim slot supports 3g/4g at a time while other uses only 2g network that time.

Thanks for the info. Won't the method you told will drain the battery anyways..?
I'm working in a place where there is absolutely no signal in my jio Sim. I'm currently using RR nougat and usually will switch off the sim. That's the reason I asked.

I don't think there will be any battery drain as there will be no network/signal on that sim slot.
Also disabling Jio sim slot is quite simple just choose network mode as GSM only on that sim. While in other sim slot you can then use 2g/3g/4g any network.

Sounds really good but how to flash?
I suppose you have to flash it by using TWRP (and not using fastboot flash)?
Awesome work! Love the customizations. App opps, wakelock/alarm blockers are great to have.

Yes. It's a zip file, so you need to install it the same way as you install ROMs on other phones.
Wipe /system, /data, /cache and /dalvik and then flash ROM + Gapps and reboot to #ExploreTheCosmos!

Because you can then remove needless system files/apps to regain space.. Or to remove tracking software... Like carrier iq.
Or just to mod system files to make compatible system features or add system features.

Did a clean install, and I'm not getting a network connection. Seems that I had to take out one of my sims to get connected
Needs fp sensor notifications gestures. No 5T rom is complete without this feature.
Screenshots and battery life?
ROM looks good intially. Couldn't explore in length as WIFI wasn't able to detect my access point, though WiFi wan't disabled. Secondly, navigation bar is disabled by default during the setup and had to be manually enabled.

Not completely ready for a daily driver, but nice to see CosmicOS here. I'm running this build on my Xiaomi Mi5, it was the first stable Oreo Rom.

ROM is running great. If you're taking requests then it'd be nice to have tile title toggle for quick settings. Other than that its running really solid.

I am gonna keep it to source, so that it can get official ASAP
Did a clean flash, and had issues with face unlock not working, and poor mobile network connection. Love the build though. Hope this Rom gets stable enough for a daily driver.

I don't use it.
I found the setting, it's in a different place from stock. ROMs, running great so far, had to use a custom kernal to enable exposed, I just can't take YouTube ads.
