In Europe? All the variants, regardless of storage capacity, are powered by the Exynos 9810.

Hope so. Now I have Note 8 256 gb from Honk Kong....and it's snapdragon...

I'm flabbergasted that the S9 Plus seems to only be available with 64 gigs in the US. How can they up the ram to 6 gigs and keep the storage at 64?
With the upgrades in camera, pictures and videos take up more space. 128 gigs should be the new base standard.

I am only guessing but I think they did it to keep the cost lower. If they had gone to 128GB in the US, the price would have been over 1000 for a new phone and I think they wanted to keep it lower than the IPHONE X - that is just my guess -but I bet I am correct.

Here in canada the s9 costs $624 usd since every store gives you a $150 discount when you trade in any junk phone, its definitely the cheapest galaxy phone to date that i've seen. My s8 was $800.

WOW - that is amazing. I purchased my S9 Plus (128GB) at CLOVE UK, I think after the conversion from Pounds to Dollars the final cost was $1014 - that includes overnight shipping. BUT, none of the extras you got in Saudi Arabia -

Quite possible. Only issue is adding in a decent SD card, which will be needed, still bumps the price up. I don't usually use external storage for phones, too, so this is a big drawback for me.

Check with them if it has the regional lock and if so ask them to send you a prepaid SIM or unlock it for you ( which mean they have to make a 5 minute call )
Clove.co.uk said:
*Since September 2013, Samsung has implemented a 'region lock' on all new stock. Clove Technology only has access to models designed for the “European” region, which covers both UK and mainland Europe. The compatible countries are listed below**.
For correct operation, this handset should be activated inside one of these countries with a SIM card issued for use there. The device will then be able to accept SIM cards from outside of these countries.
Activation requires turning the device on for the first time & completing set-up with the SIM installed, then completing at least 5 minutes of voice call(s) with this SIM.
Without activation you may still use the device outside of these countries when 'roaming' - using a SIM card from the listed countries.
If this activation procedure is not followed then the device will lock when first attempted to be used with a SIM card from outside of these regions. Local Samsung support may provide a code to unlock such handsets.
**All member states of the E.E.A and the following additional territories: Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M), Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino, Serbia and Vatican City.
IF YOUR CHOSEN DELIVERY COUNTY IS NOT LISTED, CLOVE TECHNOLOGY WILL BREAK THE SEAL ON THIS DEVICE AND ACTIVATE IT. YOU MUST AGREE TO THIS PROCEDURE IN THE CHECKOUT BEFORE THE SALE WILL COMPLETE.

Will there be a Eurpean 32GB model??

As per title, are LG doing to ship the 32GB variant to Europe as every non-imported model appears to be 16GB?
Thanks
My usual German store shows both 16GB and 32GB in pre-order, so I'm assuming yes.
In Norway it seems only the 32GB is on sale, comes in black or white.
Interesting, wonder why LG have decided then not to ship 32GB to UK then, or whether its a supply constraint?
I'll just have to import from the continent.
LG for some reason don't like the UK market! I've had bad experiences with them in the past over a tv and a sound bar

It's 32GB, 24.60 is probably the free space you got for the Virtual SD Card.
I figured as much, but doesn't that seems strange? Would the OS etc really consume 7.4 GB? Hell you could fit a Windows into that! If this is the case, then a 16GB version of the phone would be left with 8-9 GB of space only. This is clearly quite low for todays standards.
Also I suppose this confirms the question if we'll be getting 32 GB in Europe, as I seem to have one.
Delete the boatwares and you will gain some space
I don't believe I can as my phone is unrooted as of so far, is there a root for my version of the phone? (Swedish Tele2)
The price difference between the 16 and 32 GB model is no negligible they should just make one version.

O2 exclusive I hear
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I asked an O2 rep instore. They confirmed they will have it (but not yet) - couldn't give me a time frame or anything.
The 32gb one is not on their website and the 16gb one isn't even on their front page. For someone who has exclusivity they really don't look like they care. And their contract deals are insanely expensive on this phone. This is not looking good
Because nobody wants 16gb if non expandable storage with 12gb user availability. This with a camera that shoots 13mp 1080p at 60fps. I mean how much can you record? Like 10min before disk space is low?
Couple of apps, couple of pics, few cd's aaaaand diskspace is gone.
They should have never made a 16gb model. It should have been 32/64.
I am from Belgium and eagerly looking for a new phone cuz the screen is broken from my s3. But I refuse to buy the 16gb model and they do not (yet? ) sell the 32gb version.
Just got word from lg Belgium/Netherlands/Luxemburg that the 32gb variant will never be sold here.
So we can only get 16gb, big marketing mistake.
So I will not buy an LG G2 then... shame, I definitely would have liked the g2.
32 GB only in Denmark.

How do you ship it to USA?
I contacted Axiom. They ship abroad (at least to Canada). But they are not releasing any until the official release date of Aug 10th.
I was also wondering about the region locking that samsung does. If this is not first started with a sim from that region, won't it fail to work with a foreign sim?

There was no region lock on the S7 Edge that I bought from Dubai, so hopefully there will not be on the Note 7 either. As far as I am aware, there has only been European and USA region lock on Samsung's earlier models.

Do you know if it's coming with a 128gb SD card? Most of the other online places are including that. I was waiting for Axiom to have it in stock because they will ship internationally and include the SD card, but I'm still waiting.
This might be a noob question. But what's the difference between 930F and 930FD except the dual sim? What's the down side of the dual sim? Does it compromise anything? Which should I get for use in Canada? Thanks for any insight.

Launched today in Malaysia. What version?

Moto Z and Z Play have been launched today in Malaysia during an event in Kuala Lumpur.
I'm in Kuala Lumpur these day and I could be interested in buying one Moto Z if it will be the same as Indian version....
What is not still clear is what version will be sold here: 32GB? 64GB? Single or double SIM? When it will be available to stores?
Motorola Malaysia is very evasive on this... Someone has more sharp informations about it?
Before today some online retailer were selling some imported UK version here... but now?

Sorry I did not clarify. This morning they listed in Lazada and 11street as 32GB, and now thry changed it to 64GB. Im very sure it was listed by Lenovo Malaysia because they included the free JBL for first 50 customers.
Sorry pal but you got to keep your hopes very very low, no one in Malaysia really cares about Moto series. Try it, go to any lenovo store and ask them if they have clue about Moto Z. Looks like you gotta try flipkart india to get the dual sim 64GB.

I saw... technical level and knowledge of market of physical resellers is very low here in Kuala Lumpur: they all sell the same three/four brands (mainly Samsung, Oppo, Asus, Huawei, Yes and few other...) and have a very low knowledge of the market. None of the Lenovo reseller I contacted neither knew that Moto Z was out and that it would be sold by Lenovo resellers...
I can understand that is a new product here, BUT if you sell smartphones you have to know ALL THE market. Moto Z is out from June and on YouTube is full of review of it... how they can't even know it?
I live in Italy, I don't sell smartphone, BUT I know a lot of phones sold in China only like Umi, Dogee, e.g....

Help, is this legit?

Is THIS phone legit? Im not sure about the color and i couldnt find one like it anywhere, so is this legit?

I ordered from Honor-buy, they have a store in Italy and ship from within the country. Although buying from aliexxprss would cost me less, I choose the other option because it had 24-48h shipping, payment with PayPal and 2 year warranty as obligatory from Italian law. Plus it came with Italian language and with lte band 20, a must here in italy.

there are several versions of the redmi note 4. You need to check the LTE bands for your country and check if those Lte bands are compatible with the Lte Bands of the phone you're buying. Usually the main issue is the Lte Band 20, a neccessity in most european countries. If you give me a minute I'll check for you...
---------- Post added at 10:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:24 PM ----------
1. The phone in the first link supports Lte band : 1 , 3 , 5 , 7
2. In Finland:
- DNA - uses 3,7,20,28 .......There may be signal drop in 4g, 3g should work fine
- Elisa - uses 3,7,20 .....Same as above
- Sonera - uses 3,7 .... Perfectly compatible with the phone
- Ukkoverkot - uses 31,38 .... Never heard of these frequencies before

By saing blue you mean the Hatsune Miku Edition or that dark blue one? ;P
edit: hatsune miku edition is available in 4/64 with snapdragon 625!

128GB or 256GB preorder?

Has anyone found a reliable seller for the S9+ in 128 or 256? Exynos or SD. I don't care.
Vodafone Romania- preordered 256 gb black variant. Check www.vodafone.ro and ask if they do international shipping!
I just ordered my S9+ 256gb black (dual sim) from axiom telecom in UAE. I did order my S8+ from them last year without problem. They ask for a scan of your id and a scan of your credit card. Shipped to France without problem (though Aramex shipping company was not very speedy at delivering). Shipping from UAE is said to happen on March 15 ... and should take 10 days to reach me.
I ended up going with the 128GB UK version from https://www.clove.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s9-plus .
Cost me $1,023 but it's way better than a Snapdragon with 64GB for $840. and the price includes 3 day international shipping. Considering they are expecting their 1st shipment on the 8th, I may see mine before release day.

I've bought 3 Galaxy's from this eBay seller. They're in Houston and offer US and International devices with features you can't purchase here in the US. Very competitive pricing and a good return policy. Highly Recommend!

Those are some seriously good prices. I'd be tempted if I hadn't already bought a 128 exynos S9+ since the SD 256 is on there for the same price.

Pardon my ignorance, but are these alternate sources the same as the unlocked phone offered through Samsung's website?
I have never bought a new phone from any seller but one of the big 4 carriers and am just now starting to realize how much better life might be buying this S9+ from someone other than Verizon without all the crapware and the Qualcomm chip. I am aware of the VOLTE concerns, etc. If the standard features work with VZW from some of these overseas sellers I am golden.
The reason I'm even pursuing a source other than Samsung.com is because they don't appear to offer anything but the 64 GB model
you need to get a U3 listed sd card or it wont record 4k video to the card. U1 is too slow

The S9 and S9+ listed in that ebay sellers shop are the Chinese variants. Which basically means that they have the snapdragon processor, higher storage, and have a better chance of being rooted than any of the U.S. versions.
If you're new to buying outside carriers, it is good to know the benefits of each processor. Snapdragon has support for all U.S. carriers, if unlocked. It also has a stronger gpu so gaming, emulators in particular, will run better. It does not root very well.
The Exynos version tends to have better battery life, and a stronger cpu. It also gets root along with custom roms. It does not, however, work with Sprint or Verizon. They use CDMA radios that the Exynos models just do not have. Also, they apparently lack 1 of T-Mobile's radio bands, but should still mostly work.
You can go HERE to learn more about each individual model.
Clove UK - I have purchased my last three phones there - great people - great service.
international version warranty?
If I get the S9+ international from oversea, will it still have warranty in the US?

Are you sure?
The S9+ Chinese market device SM-G9650 and SM-G9658 don't list LTE Band 13 to work with Verizon.
That site also shows UK devices with Band 13 which I don't think is correct?
SM-G965FZKDXEU
SM-G965FZVDXEU
Both showing with LTE Bands: B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B13(700), B17(700), B18(800), B19(800), B20(800), B25(1900), B26(800), B28(700), B32(1500), B66(AWS- 3)
That seems to directly contradict what Clove has on their website:
https://www.clove.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s9-plus
I would take that Tech Walls link with a grain of salt because it seems to contradict what I'm seeing in many other places.

not warranty in the US whereas the S9/S9+ coming with exynos ( SM-G960F/SM-G965F-DS) instead of snapdragon 845
The SM-G9600 and SM-G9650 have snapdragon 845, but I don´t know if these comes with CDMA ratio, but it´s very probably that they doesn´t come with US warranty ( also the 128GB and 256GB at this time has not been offered in the official Samsung store yet)
