Make sure your device is U Ultra Dual Sim with firmware 1.64.400.12 (Nougat) to flash Nougat version. I'm uploading Oreo version

You can flash RUU in the first post and update ota one by one to oreo. I think new firmware will be more stable. Especially, you are using Oreo rom on Nougat firmware, i recommend you reflash ruu and update ota to oreo first.

Ok , I tried everything even formatting my data but still the same result : TWRP is not seeing my internal storage
I don't have an SDCard and I hope that it will see my SDCard
I don't mind if TWRP sees my SDcard and cannot see the internal storage because I still will be able to flash.
But now TWRP for HTC U Ultra is not maintained anymore so we will probably have no more updates
Can some one upload RUU for indian (CID 060) whith Oreo, please?

HOW TO ROOT
a) RootGenius, Vroot, KingRoot and all other programms don't work!!

b) To root you have to flash my TWRP 2.3.6.0 recovery with SpFlashTools

HOW TO:
1) Unzip the downloaded file on the desktop.
2) Turn off internet connection (or Flash Tool will hangs because of checking for updates)
3) Rename the recovery into "recovery.img" and put in into SpFlasTools folder.
4) Run the "Flash_tool.exe" add the "Scatter-file" (you can find it inside the zip) and select the "recovery.img (TWRP 2.6.3.0)
5) Go back to the Flash tool, under "Options - Download - Options" select „DA DL All with Checksum„ and close the window.
6) Now click on "Download", connect your phone and wait until the process is terminated.
7) Disconnect the Smarphone from PC and go into recovery pressing „VOL+“ and „On/Off button“
After you've flashed, power on your phone, go into recovery and reboot into stystem. Twrp will detect that the phone is unrooted....and you have just to perform a swipe to obtain root permissions

Great no I've took it from another jb firmware ?
Once you'll have the KitKat base - send me the files and I'll try to translate to Hebrew, although this takes a lot of time...
There is a way to use other roms and simply copy the translations....
For some reason I couldn't extract the files from the rom , except framework

I suppose you have a JellyBean firmware...which version do you have, and it's a custom or stock rom?
Kitkat stock update only works for original Alcatel 6043D phones. The release is available in India only.
There's a little mod to receive alcatel ota updates..
You have to edit your pro_info and you should have the alcatel stock firmware from India ?
On the first page you can find my custom TCL kitkat Firmware ?

My rom is the AnZhi_S960_FastRom_v1.2 (4.2.2 jellybean) and I doubt if its stock... The phone was surprisingly rooted when I unboxed it.
Anyway, how would you edit the pro_info? And where is the location? I'm kinda like a newbie in this stuff...
And I'd rather stick with the official update. If that fails, then your kitkat version is the one for me.

You can root using Root Genius:

Disable any firewall, and enable ADB Debug on you phone ?

And what about FlashTool? Did you try it? For a full backup you can do a read back with FlashTool too ?

Smartisan recovery is NOT WORKING. Try to flash with this recovery. Work properly for me..
Home Launcher...
Loved the ROM.... flashed it once and now back in XOSP.... Love to try this again... any way to change this default launcher.... I like the normal launcher style.....

installed smartisan recovery and successfully booted into it!
followed every step correctly...wipe data/factory reset ,then wipe cache partitions and then apply update..
it said FAILED!!

hey, i tried another way.. and it worked!!
first i wiped the system and data and then flashed the old smartisan recovery and flashed the rom...

Hey, as long as you follow our flash guide, there won't be a bootloop.
How you get the v2.6.2? We don't release the international version of v2.6.2.
Please make the ROM to be TWRP flash compatible. Including OTA. This way it is easy to make nandroid backups of other Roms and encourage people to try Smartisan.
And of course the obvious next question. Any idea when we can see Marshmallow based Smartisan for OPO?

I don't think so... I also have one more thing to fix in the kernel. Have you guys noticed very high battery usage? I've checked, and it seems like my phone does not go into deep sleep, and the battery just dies really quickly. I'll copy the clean source from Samsung, disable SELinux, and rebuild the kernel, maybe it will fix itself. Overall I'm taking a break for a few days, I'll try to fix the kernel next week.

Yea i removed it after one day because my phone died really quickly I was surprised then I again flashed stock rom. Now my device is clean.
Hi guys, I am new do xdadevelopers. I rooted phone yesterday with a prerooted method. Came with a problem that made my phone restart after apps being updated or installed. I did factory reset and solved that problem. In this prerooted method I got APUS. If you can tell me a little more about APUS. What exactly it is? My biggest problem right now is when i try to install twrp through odin on pc and download mode on grand prime, it shows me fail and on phone shows me custom binary blocked by frp lock. As I sad, i am really new to this and i am willing to learn.
So my questions are here:
1. What is APUS? And what do i need it for?
2. Why i need twrp recovery and why i can't install it?

Hello DZON wlecome to XDA Developers. I dont know what apus is I guess its a launcher.
Read this how to flash twrp:-
1. Frp lock is a security which dont let u flash some other unofficial frimwares and stuff.
2. You need to remove your all google accounts and then put your device in download mode and flash twrp with odin.
3. But if u again add google account again after flashing twrp ur device will get locked.
4. So theres a method to off frp lock forever. See this link:-

Yes remove google account and follow step 4. After the step 4 is completed you can add google account by the app quickshortcutmaker as described in 4th step.

I had so many problems with this phone initially - had to do a funky huawei restore twice - that I'm scared to try things I wouldn't have thought twice about on my old phone.

Yeah.. i had troubles updating mine... bricked for a day lol
i back up
kernel, ramdisk, system, vendor
restored them right after i backed them up to make sure they were viable... and has been fine

not sure if backing up data would work. i have the modded fstab so mines not encrypted anyways... but... ive had issues restoring data on other devices, so i bought titanium waayyyyy back and have had no issues getting my stuff back with that

You can't flash roms in stock recovery. You need to use TWRP.
Here's what I do wen I flash a rom in TWRP
#1 Nandroid Backup system, vendor, kernel, ramdisk
#2 Wipe System, Wipe Data, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik
#3 Flash the Zip from External SD
#4 Wipe Cache & Dalvik again
#5 Reboot
If you are data encrypted, you will most likely boot direct into eRecovery with the notice that Data is corrupt and you need to wipe... so do it.

Also note mate.. OP states "must be flashed in TWRP"
It also states that is was only tested on the L04... now, this makes it very very difficult for any "cross" development to happen when the developer has one device, and you flash on another.

I hate to say it, but if anyone flashes something that was only tested on one device, to a different device may be on their own...
This uses the same tree as the one used in the LineageOS build. The only commits besides those are my own for themes and FP navigation. So theoretically, this should work fine on L09 as Luk builds for L09 and his trees support both.
TWRP, I don't know too much regarding L09 but I use the twrp 0.7 build and everything works fine for me. You need to wipe cache, data, system before flashing this.
I just cleaned cache, data and system from twrp 0.7 and got the same issue:. I have a L09 and not a L04
I'll make another build soon

Flashed with safe strap. Boot loop...then I had to flash nc1 kernel zip. Booted, but system ui keeps crashing. This rom is junk
@chrisnice906......SafeStrap for the N900A is no longer supported by Hashcode; as such it wouldn't work.
If you want to install the ROM use FlashFire Pro.
Steps:
Download the ROM, use FlashFire to first select "Reboot to Download Mode" and flash the ROM. After flashing, use Odin to flash the Lollipop OC1 kernel and then reboot to recovery mode to factory reset. After reboot normally and wait for 5-10 minutes for the ROM to boot successfully.
If you have issues with the System UI, I will advice not to use the AOSP overlays for now. If you still have issues, I will have to come up with a fix.

I'm not flashing this. This requires flashfire and flashfire is too iffy

And yes it did work with safestrap. Just kept getting force closes.
Maybe flash with safestrap, boot to download mode then flash the oc1 kernel. But I also flashed with safestrap then flashed oc1 kernel zip. Maybe do that then factory reset?

If it works with SafeStrap, you can flash, boot to download mode, flash OC1 kernel, then boot to recovery mode and factory reset; though my advice is to use FlashFire because it is hassle-free and easier to use.
Like I said before if there is anything wrong with the ROM, just say what it is and I will try to find a solution. Enjoy the ROM!

If you are using normal FlashFire, set the date to any older than 2013. But for FlashFire Pro, you don't need to alter anything.

Hi Danny,
I am using 4.4.2 and I tried to flash this rom from Safetrap. After I do a factory reset my phone got stuck at Samsung logo this is the second try. The first try I do with Flashfire Pro but can't flash it keeps say errors. and also I don't know how to reboot to download mode from Flashfire.
Can you help me? Do I need to upgrade to 5.0? I can't find the root file for 5.0 .
