Zenfone Go (ASUS_X014D) Hard Bricked and Cannot Boot - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My acquaintance gave me her Zenfone Go which she told cannot boot. I tried charging it but nothing appears on the screen, so I took the back cover out and pull out the battery to charge it with directly via the battery's connector. The charger reported that the battery is 0% so I charged it to full. Placed the battery back,no change.
So I connected the phone with an USB cable to my computer (Windows 10) and it installs a driver called Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008, the phone is still dead. Tried powering it on but nothing popped up.

Redmi 3 power surge, cannot charge. Resistor(?) blown out.

The phone is alive and can be turn on. It just that a few days ago it suddenly won't charge anymore. I figured maybe its charger fault so I tried using a QC 3.0 charger as that's the only charger I got laying around. Then the phone got really hot. I can smell burn so I pull the cable right away. After a few disassembly this is what I found.

I thought maybe the resistor gave out.
What you guys think? Is it fixable?
I still can use the phone normally btw as it still had like 50% charge left it just that I'm worried if I plug in a charger now another one will pop :laugh:

Device won't turn on, isn't recognized when plugged in. Help!

Hi!
So I was following this guide to install TWRP. After flashing the .img and rebooting the phone turned off.
Now it won't turn on at all, and gives no signs of charging or being alive in any way.
When I plug it in I get this message :

I tried follwing this post to "unbrick" the phone, but I can't install the drivers because I get the message "Windows has determined that the best driver for this device is already installed".
I'm completely lost about what to do next. Please help!
EDIT: I solved it, I was able to somehow get into fastboot mode, not sure how. Feel free to delete this thread.

Unbricking MediaTek MT6580 By shorting KCOLO pin to GND

Hello, I did the worst thing possible on one of my devices which was formatting all + flashing a wrong firmware and a bad preloader. Therefore my phone isnt even recognized when i plug it in.
I wanted to try wiring GND to the KCOLO pin cause it supposedly forces a usb connection and therefore I could reflash my phone. However, not all pins on my phone's motherboard are labeled. I took a screenshot, can anyone tell me where I should connect GND to? I cant find the KCOLO pin.

Unbricking a LG V30+

So I left my phone overnight to charge, next morning it doesn't turn on (no lights, sounds, nothing). I plug it into my computer and get recognized as QUSB_BULK. I've been diving through XDA forums to not much avail. I've managed to install Qualcomm Drivers and now it shows up as a "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008".

I've gone through many XDA threads and i'm completly lost at this point, because from what i'm seeing, I should be able to "unbrick" my v30 but I have no clue where to go from here.
I'm not entirely sure on the model #, I just know its not under any specific carriers.
If anyone can help me out/Walk me through or at least point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.
