If you guys wanna try a custom kernel finally on the p10 go down to this thread :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-plus/development/kernel-hyperplus-kernel-oreo-t3753128
Install his custom kernel on my phone android 8.0 vtr-l09c432b360 and kernel is working fine.
all thanks to the original thread!

Has anybody tried this? how does it work?

Honestly for me it's been working very good, finally the restrictions of the original kernel where you weren't able to change the clock speeds are gone. On idle is working very good very smooth no hiccups been using it and analyzing it for almost a week and I don't see anything bad or bugs so far, lost like 2% of Battery on idle for six hours which is pretty good. I would recommend it over the stock kernel. You can go to there threads on the link in the op and read more about the performance of it.

Hi, this Work on Huawei P10 VTR-L09 8.0.0.360(C432) ?

Not working on my VTR-L29C432B365. Not booting after flashing, freeze at bootloader screen.
BACKUP YOUR KERNEL WITH TWRP BEFORE YOU FLASH THIS!
The backup worked like a charm.

My p10 is VTR-L29 8.0.0.0360 (C636), i flashed through FASTBOOT with the B360 VERSION.

can you share the link to the file you flashed & what fastboot command you used

Have any of you managed to get viper4android running after this hotfix patch? It ran beautifully up to 2.1.2 but the 2.1.3 (005) update broke it for me so I reverted. Rooted with TWRP and SU, PlayerPro and Spotify.

I managed to get it working by flashing Lolliviper from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/discussion-viper4android-t2543796
At the end of the OP there's a link to LolliviperROUND which uses the external speaker for stereo audio however I haven't tried that out yet. For the standard V4A, just flash Lolliviper.zip from recovery or through Flashify and reboot. The V4A app will be in the app drawer and you just proceed as usual
Hit the thanks button if I helped! :fingers-crossed:

Yes, you need to be rooted to flash v4a I suggest the kingroot then replace with supersu method.. barely took 5 minutes
Honestly speaking.. do not see a difference.. :v
Would love cyanogen for this one.. also will it give a feature to disable the quick settings?

First V4A not O2OS compatible, and Second KOR never recommended, moreover u need custom recovery for V4A Flash
The normal method would also take just 5 minutes once files are downloaded and drivers installed.

You can't flash Xposed in EMUI. Well there is a modified stock ROM for our phone that you can flash Xposed with, I recommend that you flash a custom ROM first. Go try CM first for size.

that you both of you for your prompt reply. i tried xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64 but it still stuck at boot logo while xposed-v85-sdk23-arm64 finally worked like a charm its may be because I'm at stock rom only.

Also would you please tell me about what benefits I can expect against my stock b360 ? and basically what are the pros and cons? . I'm sorry if its a very noob question.

CM is closer to stock android than EMUI with little customizations, so if u want stock android experience go for it.
There are CM12.1 and 13 for us. CM13 is official with nightlies and it has Fingerprint support too. Go for it.
I would say that CM13 is much smoother than EMUI B360. While battery backup may vary, the trend I found was B130>CM13>B360. All 3 of them had xposed+amplify+greenify installed. B360 has VoLTE support, so if u are using Jio then u get True Voice calls(tho there's not much difference). IMO there is little reason to stay on B360 other than VoLTE.

If you are in B360 right now, you can't flash custom ROMs. You need to downgrade to B350 or lower because it will bootloop.
You should try the latest nightly of CM.
The pros and cons will depend on your personal preferences.
CM is vanilla Android with some modifications for performance, while stock ROM is EMUI which has the looks of iOS.

All ROMs that we have are for all variants of this phone. Yes you'll lose VoLTE with B350 downgrade. Performance of custom ROMs vary from user to user because we have different app setup choices so it's important to try most of them. No problem buddy we are always here to help.

Can I install Xposed on Poco F1 ?

Hi,
Well, everything is pretty much in the title...
I have tried to install several GSI Treble images, but that was almost always a "No-Go" because it either did not even install, or it installed but did not boot or it booted but too many severe problems...
So, until someone releases a proper dedicated ROM for the POCO, I would like to stick to stock, but would like to be able to make a liitle more than what MIUI allows.
So I am wondering : has someone successfully installed XPosed framework on the Pocophone ?
Regards.

You already have the xposed downloaded. Boot into twrp and install xposed. Somehow doing this, it actually help me boot into system. No, the xposed will not be installed but there's no more bootloop. After installing xposed from twrp remember to clear cache/dalvik and reboot into system. That worked for me without wiping anything.

Ok I'm on miui 10 rooted too please give your Xposed zip that you flash on it please
Ok, because the file exceeds maximum size of 8 mb that can be uploaded as a zip, i cannot put it here, yet this is the module downloaded from Magisk manager, there's also another version you can find there (one is Xposed framework sdk 27 and the other is Xposed framework v89, so read the descriptions before installing), but remember, on my case, flashing / installing xposed did not worked, and i got stuck on boot. There's still options you can bring your phone back from bootloop, as the ones mentioned above, yet there's still a possibility to experience another issues, so please understand that i do not find myself responsible for whatever you choose to do with these files.
This xposed module can be installed in twrp or in Magisk manager.
Miui 10, rooted. after install xpose framework from magic stuck at boot loop? do i need to reflash rom or?
can flash uninstall?

BTW if somebody has an update for a Xposed framework working on POCO F1 I'm looking forward!
MIUI always breaks compatibility with Xposed.
I've started a GH issue for support please join there, give a thumbs up to the issue and provide logs if you can

Beast ROM 9727+9711fw = .3-.6% per hour.
Any contenders, just out of interest! :fingers-crossed:

Have you tried BeastROMs-1.6-cepheus-OFFICIAL-20190806-0459.zip?
I am currently using xiaomu eu miui 9.8.1 and am thinking of formatting my phone completely and then flashing the beast rom I just mentioned + magisk 19.4 (canary) etc. but I am not sure if that's a good version of beast rom and if my current firmware is good or if I should flash an earlier version...

Yes, got big drain 1-2% with newest beast, with newest fw and with 9711fw. 9711fw is the best I've tried, have heard 9722 is ok..
Also latest 1.6 has Bluetooth bug inherited from Google latest sec patch.
Do you have a link to the 9723 Version, because i only could find the 9727 Version
