Just a short question
On my old Xperia Z5 I used lineage OS and I got used to the ability to turn on the led light by holding the power button while the screen is locked. Is there any way to make this possible on xz1? (Root, BL open, xposed is in use)

I am looking for a way to prevent my phone from being turned off while in my pocket. I have the 2.2.1 update and have not experienced the automatic powering off, and am pretty sure it is me somehow pressing the power button then pressing off on the power options screen.
-Perhaps there is a way to change the power options screen so it requires a phone unlock before it appears?
-Port the HTC Hero lockscreen which prevents the power options screen appearing unless it has been unlocked?
-Change the power button behavior somehow?
I am quite new to this phone, and have yet to root the phone, but I will root the phone if I have to.
Please let me know if this is possible in any way!

Best advice I can give off the top of my head is to use quickboot which requires root. It requires you to go through a few menus before you power it off. Or you might try getting some sort of proximity sensor app, so that the screen won't come on while in your pocket.

Need to disable the power button options when long pressed in lock screen. Having it awaken is fine when pressed, but i have often found the phone on silent or flight mode (& once it was switched off ) when inside a jeans pocket (mostly).
Is there a modification, not to pop the power button options when in lock screen ?

I've got CM7 on my legend and I would like to know if the following features are possible and how:
- I want to be able to wake the device (turn on the screen) using only the trackpad button and not the power button. (the power button is quite proeminend and it gets pressed randomly in the pocket causing battery to drain)
- redial the last number by pressing twice the answer button from the headset (very useful when travellling on bike), as it is by default in the original sense ROM (actually in all sense ROM's that I have tried)

1) can be found in the cyanogenmod settings => input (i think thats the name in english) => trackball wake

What I want is to wake the device ONLY with trackball. Basically to disable power button for unlock.
Hello guys, i have a question about rear volume keys.
When screen is off, long press vol+ is for note, and vol- is for camera. And when i got my G2 mini i my pocket sometimes i got some black photos of my pocket because camera is on.
And here is my question : How to disable that option ? How to disable long press shortcut ?

Hello,I too really hate that at some times and the only way I found by now without rooting the device is with this app:

It is not working on my G2 mini, no effects after install, no asking about default action for keys. Any other idea?

Hello,
recently the power button stopped working properly on my UMI zero phone.
1.) I am looking for a solution to remap the power button function to a different key. (for example volume down or up key) - The phone should be able to be powered up by the remapped key when powered off by low battery etc.
If not possible to remap the key completely
2.) A autostart function would solve this problem too. for example when a charger is connected to the phone. I just want to avoid any lockout situation where my battery drains and I am not able to power the phone up anymore.
Any ideas?
