Is your SD Card encrypted? I would try decrypting the card first in the device it was encrypted.

i am getting the same thing on my S9. My SD was never encrypted.

verify EXFAT or FAT32 format

Hi there
the Samsung galaxy S lineup ( S7, S8, S9) use EXFAT format for the microsdxc cards
- If you have a brand new microsdxc card, you won´t have any issues if you format the microsd, this will be in EXFAT format ( this format works for to transfer high archives ( plus 4gb), the phone will format to this by default
- If you have a brand new microsdxc BUT the phone can not format: probably the card doesn´t support this format ( EXFAT)
- If you have a microsd that you used in another phone, no Samsung, it´s very probably that you microsdxc is in FAT32 format, this format doesn´t left high size files and more slow transfer speeds. You ´ll need to format, before, you can do a backup
You can verify this in your PC, in windows: file explorer/this PC, search the microsdxc , right click, format and you can check, if you will make a format, choose : exfat ( in format) and 128kb ( in size) and done

I have the same issue with my S9+.
My SD card came from my last S8 and I never had a problem.
I don't know what to do.
Anyone can help me? I don't want to format the card.
Thank you very much!

This CAN sometimes be indicative of a failing SD Card. CAN. Not DEFINITELY IS. Either me and/or my wife has had this issue a few times in the past and its usually always been the SD Card. Her last one stopped working when we realised nothing could be written to it. Stuff that was already on it (such as music) could be read, but nothing new, like pictures or downloads could be added to it. It would work in some phones, and others would say it needed formatting and gave errors and so on.
At any rate, my advice would be back up your data on it, if you can, just in case. SD Card errors don't usually happen when things are running smoothly.

Hi, this is an on-going issue that many s9/s9+ users are having (now a few Note9 users as well). After 6 months there is still no reply/statement from Samsung..

HD2 killed two of my 8GB MicroSD?

I have two 8GB Sandisk MicroSD card killed by my HD2 (i think so). Anybody faces the same prob? The cards are totally dead now after using it in my HD2 for a few days...
No such experience.
Good to know the Bland and model.
You mean brand?
Try to format it on your pc...
I had the same Isue.. could not format it on xp pc only on windows 7 pc..
mos of the time if you let you put it in your card reader and its recognized.. you just have to let it scan for errors and let it fix them..
Sometimes my cardreader fails to detecet my card. I don't think this is related to my HD2, atleast I don't hope so.
Not had it...yet...on my sandisk 8GB MicroSD. This is the one straight out of a Nokia 5800. The 2GB one which cam with my HD2 went tits up after I tried to import a playlist from WMP onto it. Seems I'm not alone with this issue either...
For the first time I can report a problem with my HTC HD2.
I also seem to have a problem with my 8Gb Scandisk card. It seems either my telephone or my laptop screwed the card up.
I have standard stock last rom available in Holland manilla 2.5 Rom 1.66. No special things installed.
The card works almost 100% except when I go to the tap music. Then hell breaks loose. The phone looks for the music files. But cannot find them and then suddenly the phone cannot recognize the card anymore? I have to restart the phone before it can recognize the card again. This only happens when I go to Music.
But the damage is done anyway. Cause when I insert card in laptop or computer. I can see the files but according to the computer there empty (which is not the case). I cannot copy or cut while in card is inserted in the computer.
I accepted this problem cause I have a good working TomTom on it which someone else installed for me. If I format the card I cannot put it back.
Try to format your card, I did this from my laptop (if it can reorganize it) and NOT chose FAST. Becouse if there is a problem with the card it will simply skip it. This is also a golden rule when you install new OS on a old or well used laptop.
Copy the tomtom folders to a folder on your PC before formatting, then copy back...done
I have a 8GB Sandisk card, I've had it on 3 plones now, using it for about 3 years, still works like a charm.
To the OP, maybe you got fake ones, Sandisk is the most counterfeit memory card brand, if you got them on ebay or so and not in a respectable street shop they might be fakes, for which that kind of failures are typical.

I have this problem, and I went back to HTC. I got a new phone replacement and everything is fine thereafter. =)
I had a problem with 3 different Kingston 8GB cards.
Statred working fine, but after writing more then 2GB to them, they suddenly died.
I tried all of them in the phone and in a card reader, and they acted the same way.
As a final test - I used a SanDisk card, and it works just fine from the time I got it.
So - maybe, you just have defective cards ?
Did you try formatting the cards in the phone and not in the PC ?
I have the same problem. If i put the files on my sd card from my pc there seem to be no problem. After I check these files on my phone, they are damaged or the folder is empty. So.. anyone has suggestions what to do?
Same experience here.
8Gb was working fine the first two days (the card that was included with my HD2)
Then, for no reason got a pop-up (invalid card type, do you want to format?)
At forst I said "no" and tried with my computer... None of the 6 software I used could save my card. Was definatly dead.
Put a second one in (1Gb, just to make sure), it's been a week, and I already get errors when I write. It's like the micro SD is on read only (though ther's no switch to set it back to "write mode")
One of the many (many many many) bugs of my HD2
i had the same problem. the 8gb SanDisk microsd card that originally comes with my htc hd 2 is now useless. lost a lot of pics, cab & songs. it can't even be read by card reader on my laptop. is this some kind of bug?? now im using another 8gb card & hope it wont happen again. im glad though that im not the only one having the problem
And i thought i was the only one. My 8GB only lasted for 1 day before it went died. Had to get a replacement from Service Center. The staff seem to handle it in a very fast manner (guess i am not the only one to get the SD card replaced recently!!)
My guess is i did a hard reset on the phone with the SD card in it. Anyone else did the same thing?
My card has been corrupted twice no the HD2 leading to:
1) Very poor performance
2) Very warm phone
3) Very fast draining battery
I believe it was due to the power saving features enabled to do with the microsd as someone else mentioned on this forum.
its a manufactures defect. something should be done. lots of users are getting this problem now, including me
maybe i know the answer..
sorry for my bad english..
I've the same problem. But searching from all forums, finally i get the answer. just find n download EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Proffessional 4.3.6 (for 5 MB). Insert the mmc in card reader, use this software to recovery all the missing file (choose Complete Recovery Option). After recovery process done, use software LLFTool (for 600kb, just doing some browsing at google) to Low Level Format the mmc (this LLFTool can recognize the mmc). After all done, Windows can recognize again the mmc at windows explorer. Just right click and choose quick format (format FAT32). Done, you can use the mmc like the new one

thanks for your help. i tried your solution but it doesn't work. neither the EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional nor LLFTool detect the memory card. i think there's nothing to be done for the card. just hope htc will sort that out
I have also recently had an issue with my 8gb Sandisk Micro SD card.
It has been working fine for a while now, then yesterday when I went to pick up my phone, I noticed my S2U2 unlock screen was black instead of having my usual wallpaper there. My HD2 had just suddenly decided it can't recognise the card anymore and tells me I need to format it for it to be readable.
I pressed 'no' and tried to read the card on several computers as I wanted to transfer all data off before formatting it, but it would not read on any of them, nor would it work in my old N95.
I don't understand why this has happened, it has been working fine no probs, had about 3gb left on it still and have not recently installed anything on it - very annoyed as I have lost lots of recent photos of my 6month old boy which I cant get back now.
Have had to order a new card and hope this doesn't happen again, but not a happy bunny

[Q] sd card problem

Hi,
I got my Optimus one not long ago and I bought kingston 8G for it though it would work fine. The phone read the card well and show the memory correct and I can use it pretty good on my phone. The thing later I found out is the phone itself restart after the idle time exceed 1hr which is crazy. The phone works really good until I upgrade my original sd card (samsung 2G which came in with) to Kingston microsd 8G. I don't know where exactly is wrong, and I couldn't return the sd card either since it work fine on both phone and on computer with card reader. If someone got same problem with me, please let me know or help me out!! Thanks in advance.
I think it is a firmware problem,Mine and others do the same with the standart 2G card...
Firmware keeps updating itself when I go on WIFI connection. I don't know about these stuffs either. But now, the problems are ended..the phone doesn't read any card anymore whether 2G or 8G, it keeps saying that "sd card removed. Insert a new one". I've tried restart again & again but the message doesn't go away and my phone decide not to recognize the card. Both of the cards work fine on computer. I think I need to visit the shop where I bought to check on it. Btw, is that problem considered in the warranty case? I don't know.. It wasn't even a month with me. So sad!

Are you using any app2sd ? If yes, it could be a problem also if ur using an app storing data on your SD card. It makes you're cell restart.
I have the "mount / unmount" problem on my LG, I saw on a french forum that it was better to try with another file system, sometimes it was solving, sometimes not. I don't think it's really a card problem, I gave my LG GW620's sd to my girlfrend and her old samsung is using it without any problem's, but on mine it was crashing every 30mins....

I have the same problem but more problem when my LG O1 didn't recognize the card and I couldn't mount or format the card on my phone.
This happened when I partitioned the card. My PC still sees the card well but my phone doesn't.
I read a lot of posts from a lot of forums and I did try every guides steps by steps but it seemed as the LG O1 doesn't have any button-press-combination as others. For ex: when I pressed Back + Power On, nothing happened as It was said that the phone might come to FastBoot.
As help on this issue will be in much appreciated.
I fixed it. If your PC still recognizes the sd card, it's ok. Go to Manage (right click on My Computer) -> Device Management -> Storage -> you should see your card there. Try to delete volumn or format the EXT2 and Linux Swap.
Put the card back to your phone. It should recognize the card and then, unmount and format card and mount it back. Done.
I have a small question. What is the best class for this phone? The class 10 is fully used by phone or does not reach that read/write speed? Some micro sd class 10 are declared between 20 and 30 MB/S. The p500 has these capabilities? Or a Class 6 card is enough?
Thanks
UP!
The price for 32GB class 6 is very different from class 10.
Lg Optimus One is able to full use write/read speed of class 10?
Thanks
Help! I inserted a sandisk 4gb class 4 and my phone didn't recognized it (i got the 'SD card removed. Insert a new one.' notification). Then, i inserted back the original 2gb sd card from the box, but that notification is still there and it can't be recognized. But both my PC and a another android device (a galaxy tab) can detect it. So, i tried formatting both the 4gb and the original 2gb with the galaxy tab and inserted it to my O1 but nothing has changed. I tried updating to the official V10E firmware but it makes no diffrences. Any help please?
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
For future, don't remove SD card during phone is running because of app moved to SD card. Especially when you plan insert new one, and if you do that with custom ROM with app2sd its equivalent to suicide.
Is mass storage mode works? Is MS works in curstom recovery? Did you try format memory card in phone? Delete of caches?

Thx for the reply,
I haven't install a custom ROM yet. All i did was enable JIT+HW accel from a thread here.
1. Mass storage didn't work. It just appears as a new drive which i can't access.
2. I updated my O1 to V10E... I lost root, custom recovery,etc. so i can't try that
3. I formated it with another android device (a galaxy tab)
4. How do you delete the caches???? Sorry, new here
You had got me. For now I have not idea how to proceed.
Anyway, remove battery, remove SD card, clean sd card with some soft cloth, check if metal contacts looks fine (try clean that if not), insert SD card, insert battery and try it again.
If this not help, you can try some shaking and so on. It's sounds crazy, but I know one guy whose shaking helped him to flash firmware to phone, which not works at all. Maybe it's some cheats for all these issues.
ad 4) You can delete caches via custom recovery, but related to 2) you can't so, this hint is useless.
I did everything u said. I checked the SD card & the slot and they seem ok.
This might sound dumb, but what do you mean by 'shaking'? Which part are you suppose to shake?? Sorry, im still new to androids
BTW, i went to the LG customer care. The technician checked it and said that they are going to replace the SD card slot. She said that sparepart (the SD card slot) is going to arrive sometime in mid-January due to the holidays.
By the shake I mean grab phone and do quick movements with phone from left to right and back.
But it seems, that you have some trouble with hardware part(s) of phone.

[Q] Newly rooted--sd card issues

Awesome newb video by the way! Made me laugh...
Just rooted and I like it, I don't wanna go back, but I can't get the microsd to pick up...I'll give all the info I can--def newb to root/droid but my background is IT, so hopefully we can figure out how to fix it so I can keep the root and not go back to stock(if that would even repair the problem)
Got a pny 32G microSD, droid incredible 4g lte(Verizon) that I rooted using the unlock script and fakeCID and then loaded Vipers Venom LTE custom rom...somewhere in this process-I think right after unlocking-it quit accessing the sd card...I've looked around and read some things about this 'USB brick' thing, but I don't know if it's applicable to me...here's what it does now:
SD card is in phone, but under 'Storage' Total Space and Available show unavailable, and everything else is greyed. If I try and pull the card the phone gives me the 'sd card unexpectedly removed' error.
Windows XP has no issue reading/writing to this card with a card reader. I've formatted a few times fat32 with xp(which i hate doing)and put it back in the phone, with the phone off, booted, and nothing happens. Oddly, when it first happened, after installing the custom ROM, when I'd do this procedure the phone would see the card on boot, but stay forever on 'preparing sd card/checking for errors' and never complete.
Back on the phone side of things, booting into the 'recovery mode', where you flash and whatever, it can see the card, see it's contents, and I wrote some sort of log to the card(option in the menu), so it can access it...oddly, I could not load my Viper rom from the microsd card, it failed on the file, but put it under some folder on the phone and that's how i ended up flashing the ROM, which I was nervous about doing as everything I saw said put the rom on the external sd card...
If I plug the phone into the XP pc via usb cable, choose use as disk drive, no problem accessing phone data, but 'please insert disk' on the card. Cannot push data when in usb debug mode via adb commands either. Oddly, dunno if this is related, it gives me 2 drives and also a CD ROM drive--tried dialing that##7 number for the option to disable cd rom, but it was already disabled. Dunno if this is related, but throwing it in there.
Tried chkdsk on the sd card with Xp, no errors, no problems. Hell, the card's not two weeks old and I've only had the phone a little over a month. I've done a bit of research the past couple of days and the only thing I haven't tried is the very confusing procedure i've seen for some of these 'usb brick' problems, but is that my problem. I'm hoping if all else fails i can go back to stock, just downloaded the stock rom, but will that even fix it? Gots to have my trailer park boys on my sd card to watch! Thanks for the help guys and gals! Sorry for the long post, but I like to give info--if kernel version or any other data like that is required, I can post it.

i tried to slim down your quote, but from my experience i'd still say the sd-card is somehow busted! i had a similar prob with the SD card in my Dinc4G two weeks ago. i _was_ r/w quite fine even from custom rom and at one point, the card just quit. removing and reinserting just ended in "preparing sd-card" and directly after that "safe for removal" ... wasn't able to access it any more within Viper, recovery (TWRP for me) was still seeing the card fine just like on your end.
putting the SD-card into a Win-laptop it _appeared_ fine and came error-free with scandisk etc ... BUT when i tried to backup all data from it before formatting (had like 10G on my 16G card) there were a couple of files that failed to read and i could NOT recover at all anymore. I formatted the SD-card again after that (full format, not fast/quick!) ... and put most of the files back. it is working again now in my Dinc4G but the card sure has some defect sectors (and usually _tends to die soon_ after such errors appear first!
i'd heavily recommend that you try to source some other micro-sd card first and try if you custom rom can read from it again. if that works fine and you see your SD-card from within the settings menu in the rom. you can be pretty sure that it's really the card.
PS: even brand new mem cards tend to fail at times :cyclops: ... just try to erase all private data on it (means: _fully overwrite_ with other stuff until the card is completelly filled) ... and then try to get a replacement from where you got your (fairly new) SD card from.
hope that helps a bit
i agree with the above post... try a different card. if formatting it doesn't fix it, it's time to try a new card.

Anyone having SD Card issues?

Hi,
Anyone having SD card issues?
This phone for some reason does not like my SD cards and I finally had to format it as NTFS then insert it in the phone and let the phone erase/reformat the card.
No card that I have that was already formatted with data will work in the phone.
I haven't had this issue with any other Android phone.
When I first got the phone, not thinking I put my half full 128GB card in the phone from my GS4.
Needless to say, I had some backups but the latest pictures and movies from two weeks prior are possiblly toast.
I'm running a recovery program now.
Note to all: DO NOT PUT A CARD IN THE LG G3 THAT HAS DATA ON IT!!!!!!

Nope enabled full access.
It's not an access issue.
Enabled access on this phone and my GS4 was also rooted and I was using Xposed.
In my case the card is unrecognized or if it is, it is considered damaged or blank.
I put in a Sandisk 128GB FAT32 formatted (in Win 7) card that I was using in a Galaxy S3 into the LG G3 and it recognized the card and all the existing data that was on it. I am able to at least read from it without problem. I have not tried writing to the card yet.
I use a tool on Windows pc to format the sd card as fat32 since exFat is proprietary to Microsoft which causes different devices to have different standards. No problem at all with Fat32 unless you want to copy a file larger than 4gb over.
Hello. I'm new here and this is my first reply.
But anyway, yes I put my sd card in my brand new Verizon LG G3 and all of a sudden it's wiped. I had to find some way to try to restore my files so I searched xda and found something about Zar recovery from 2011 I think it was. I should look it up again so can send a thanks. I'm copying files to my computer as I'm typing this. Hope I can retrieve everything. If I do I will defiantly look up that post and thank the OP. It's the free version and it's taking a very long time but hey. I started this process yesterday at about 9pm after a couple of failed attempts.

I think my issue was with exFat. The phone didn't recognize it and threw up a fur ball.
My Galaxy S4 was just fine with it.
Note to self -. exFAT is bad on LG phones.

I pulled the 32GB SD card I had in my GPad and put it right into my Verizon G3....read the few pics and videos I had on it, and shows about 28GB of free space. So...I surely didn't have this issue (and it was pics of my niece so if I had lost them I would have been cheesed)
I think the Verizon version of the G3 has a bug with 128GB sdcards. When I pulled my card from the S5 and put it in the G3, it damaged the file structure and needed to format the card. I tried putting it back in the S5 before I formatted it and the S5 couldn't read it anymore. This scenario has happened on more than one occasion too when going back and forth between the S5 and the G3. It never happened with the AT&T version.

I need to manually go the the recovered files before I wipe the card.

Right. 128GB card has problems; 64GB card has no problem. I have tried both.
Zar took a total of 41 hours
And only recovered one song and one picture. Oh my god I should have backed up before I messed with that sd card.

I was able to get quite a bit off, several thousand.
What software are you using?
I'm using photorec -< http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec
Update: It has nothing to do with exFAT.
I formatted the 128GB card on my Mac with exFAT and it works fine. I've been back and forth between the Mac and my G3 with the newly formatted 128GB card.
I think it had issues from the GS4. I went directly from GS4 to G3 and that is when things went south.
I have transferred more than 75GB onto the card both through the G3 and stand alone with an adapter with no issues.
So I was able to recover most stuff and now using the card after formatting on the Mac with no issues. YMMV, but if moving from one phone to another I would put the card in a PC/Mac whatever, backup and repair any file system issues *BEFORE* using the card in a G3.
Which is good advise anyway.

Anyone wandering around with 32GB-64GB-128GB of data in their pocket without it being backed up is just asking for trouble. Historically, microSD cards are not that reliable.
My g3 had no issues reading my 64gb card, it does however have issues with saving data on to it, anytime I try to dl something and save it to my sd card is says failed no space available, which is not the case as I have around 8gb of free space, its weird because I can dl to internal memory and then transfer it to my sd card without a problem

So it has something to do with Samsung's implementation of exFat. The GS3's exFat was already corrupting and losing files when I first got my sd card which is why I formatted it to FAT32 in the first place. Wouldn't surprise me that the GS4 wasn't perfect either.

I've had the most luck recovering a corrupt sd card with a program called Recuva. Depending on the extent of the corruption there may not be much left to recover, but a second option never hurts.

Recovery - Help

I am on a sprint LGLS990, rooted with twrp. I have just started doing backups. I did one the other day on the internal storage which worked fine. Now I'm doing a bu on the external sd and worked well until generating md5. Its said this for the last 30 minutes. It appears that it is stuck. Is there any way to stop or cancel this?? I tried pushing any of the hardware buttons in back, but power just locks it, then I swipe to unlock it. Please help!! I don't know if I can do a battery pull or not if that would stop it, but I definately dont want to ruin my ext sd card as I have sensitive info that I need.
Update - I did a battery pull and it just seemed to reboot it. Nothing wrong with my external SD card that I can see. I can successfully do a backup on internal but everytime I try on external it gets stuck on generating md5. I have searched google but can't come up with anyone that has had the same issue on the g3. It's a sprint with model LG LG 990.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just a thought, are there any other recoveries that work on my model g3?

Is the card larger than 32GB, and formatted as exFAT? If so, that's likely the problem. Our bumped version of TWRP has a bug affected the ability to read exFAT cards. If so, you can copy all the data off to a PC (or Mac), reformat the card as FAT32, and test it out. Here's some info on how to reformat the card to FAT32:

Its a 64gb card and I'm not sure if it was formatted as exfat. I will try your suggestion. Will I lose any storage space by formatting the card to fat32?

If it's 64GB, it was probably formatted as exFAT from the factory. And yeah, you'll probably lose some storage space by formatting it as FAT32. How much will depend on what you have stored on the card. A lot of small files will waste more space than the same number of large files.
I just copied the external card to my desktop. I tried opening it up but it wouldn't open, saying it could not open that file. I even tried to extract and it said the same thing. I don't want to erase my card unless I know for a fact that my files are safe. With some apps, I have over 2 years of sensitive data that I can't afford to lose. Maybe it might be easier to just do a backup on my internal, then just copy and paste to my external.
There's a new TWRP that I believe fixes the exFAT bug:

I just did a backup on external SD. It appears to be working. The only thing is that it took 30 minutes to backup.
I am rooted and have the latest twrp recovery, think it is 2.8.2. On this version, I am able to save my backup directly to ext sd. I have noticed however that when I do a backup, it takes between 30 to 40 minutes to do one. However, I just did a restore last night and it took over a hour and a half. I have only had the phone about 2 weeks. When I had my S3, doing backup would takes kess than 10 minutes, same with restores. Is this normal or is something amiss?? Thanks for the feedback.
Update-
I have also noticed that when backing up to the internal that it takes just a few minutes, now when I backup onto the ext sd it takes about 20 minutes. The issue I had above I believe is connected when I used twrp manager instead of booting directly into recovery from the power menu. But its still taking alot longer to backup on my ext vs the internal. What would be the cause of that??
It seems most have issues if you SD is more than 32g.
The recommended format seems to be Fat32 on any card. That may be your issue. TWRP shouldn't be taking any extra time.

I'm just wondering when I had my S3, I had the same card and did backups with both phiz and twrp and never had any of these issues and the backup and restore times were usually under 5 minutes. Now with the G3 I am having these issues.

It probably wouldn't hurt to format it and start over. Just like in the other thread I just answered you in. Start fresh and clean since you're starting with a different phone anyway.

I just formatted for 64gb sd card, moved all my files back onto the card, checked on my pc and it said fat32 under properties. I did a backup and halfway through the data backup it failed. I have updated twrp to 2.8.3.
Any suggestions on why I can't use the external card??

Did you format it in Windows/Linux as Fat32? Then move your files to it, and put it in the phone.
You may need to format it as 2 partitions.
Other than that, I really don't know what else to say.

I formatted it in Windows 8 but I had to use a third party program as Windows only had the options ntfc and exfat. I first deleted all my files, then formatted and copied all my files back, then inserted back in phone and tried a backup. In the third party software, I don't it gave a option to split the partitions.
Am I the only one having issues with creating and restoring backups on the external SD or ate others having the same issues?
Anyone else having issues backing up and restoring to the external sd card??
I'm just wondering when I was on the stock rom (with twrp recovery), I never had a issues backing up and restoring to the external sd card. Seems like this might be rom related, don't know, just a guess.
Also, are there any other recoveries that work with the G3, since it appears that twrp still has bugs.
I'm guessing not.
Pull your SD card out, or just make it backup to internal just to rule out TWRP.
Then maybe try a smaller card to make sure it's not your phone, or the pins for the SD card.
If the smaller card works, then you know it's the 64g card. It it doesn't, then it's got to be your phone.

I have done backups through internal and everything works fine. I think I might have a 32 gb card around somewhere, if I can find it, I will try that and let you know the results, thanks.

I just did a backup on my 32gb sd card. This card has not been formatted, its stock. It did do a backup but it took 40 minutes to do it. It appeared to get stuck on the last 1000 files when backing up data, the last 1000 files took over 15 minutes itself. I just did another backup, this time on my internal, it took only 5 minutes. How come its taking so long backing up to exernal, and thats with the 32gb card, still doesn't work on my 64gb card. Is anyone else have issues with backing up on a 64gb card?? I would like to know if i am a isolated issue or if others are having the same issues.
Try using Partition Master to format the 64GB card as FAT32, instead of exFAT.
