Project treble compatibility for Oneplus X? - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Any chance of seeing this for our lovely device?
Redmi note 4 is already compatible thanks to devs https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-note-4-project-treble/

i dont think so ...

Maybe, we do have a partition we might be able to use. Although it does seem we may not be able to fit everything in there and not to mention if we have someone who can port treble in our community.

here is a new software to get treble on some unsupported devices
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...treble-terble-vendor-t3774629/page4?nocache=1

it might be possible to take out around 500MB from system partition or data partition to make a new partition for vendor

Treble support is WIP. No ETA.

in case you dont exactly know what you shared, samsung releases the source code of all kernels, and ONLY KERNELS.
So what source code we need ?
that depends what you are after?
considering you are on an Exynos device, what i think they lack is Open Documentation of their CPU SoCs, meaning the devs have to do 20x the amount of work to figure things out. Samsung hasn't responded for this call since Galaxy S2, i wouldn't hold any hope to it.
Your share can lead to a custom kernel however, which i think there are already one or two.

What's this? LineageOS stats for our device (delos3geur)

This is the amount of people "users" actually using different OS builds in device: "delos3geur".
These statistics are sent when they opt to help LineageOS community when prompted in their own devices in Startup Wizard.
Unfortunately these statistics there's nothing to do with the LineageOS Official ROM building stage or whatsoever apart it.
Is there anybody responsible for these builds? I have not managed to know who is in charge and my mom has a delos3geur/delos3gub that's running android 4.1 and many apps on Google's Play *or* on F-Droid are starting to require a newer version of Android...

what different treble and non treble on costum rom

what different treble and non treble on costum rom?
Oh boy the state of xda nowdays. Such a shame. Let me google that for you.
https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2017/05/here-comes-treble-modular-base-for.html
Hmm I believe this 2 images resume it very well. I think this means:
Not treble= normal rom, vendors and developers need to work on the entire rom and his own sh*t to make it compatible with the device.
Treble= modular rom, the base system will be the same for all devices. Custom things (like MIUI or touchwiz skins, system, custom apps) are apart from the base, so this should do all the porting process more easy and faster
