Good work!
I gave it a quick run last night. No gapps or root. Flashed okay, booted up quickly.
Went through most of the bits and settings. Didn't come across any issues ROM-wise but I'll have to do a full setup and really check.
Lots of options/features to go through.
The camera crashes every time. No logging apps installed. Will do that with next installation.

No issues here. I've used it as adopted storage since I bought the device, and haven't had any issues with this or any other ROM.

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. Don't just post anything, if you face any problem report it with a logcat,don't think and post, and there is no problem related to whatsapp I'm using it and i have checked it,as for other's SOURCE RELATED BUG'S WILL BE PRESENT UNLESS RECTIFIED,IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN ANY MAJOR BUG I WOULD'VE MENTIONED IT.

But sadly no YAS sensors. Is it possible to compile kernel with normal toolchain so yas works?CM kernel or razor doesnt boot orion.

The rom is very good, extremely fast and with good battery life.
Xposed mod and viper4android running smoothly.
Microphone working on Whatsapp.
Bootanimation beautifull
Negatives (for me).
Only work 4 sensors (should be 10).
The security patch is 01.01.2016.
This rom uses the layers (the cm12s theme chooser is much better and simpler)

The sensors will be fixed in the next build by @s.sawrav :good: . Its AOSP based Rom , not CM based , so there will be no Theme Chooser .

Cosmic-OS is a Custom Aftermarket Firmware Distribution based on Android Open Source Project with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.

CAF is a custom Linux kernel branch in place to support Qualcomm hardware.

About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. What's ColtOS

- Flash latest factory image (same security patch as the ROM) and copy the ROM zip, TWRP and Magisk zip on the phone
- Boot into latest version of TWRP
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below if coming from another ROM or a different version of Android. DO NOT WIPE SYSTEM
(A full wipe is when you wipe Data + Cache)
- Flash the latest version of the ROM
- Don't flash gapps are they are included in the ROM
- If you want to have TWRP flashed, flash the TWRP zip and Reboot
- Reboot to TWRP and Flash Magisk if you want root
- Reboot and ENJOY!!

If you are getting internal system problem on first boot then please download and flash linked vendor image via fastboot (fastboot flash vendor vendor.img --slot=all) or recovery on partitions A & B.

Loving the ROM so far. Is there a way to remove the trim from the bottom of the notification drawer?
Well I got the internal system error on boot and I have July flashed to both slots so maybe this is based on August or something else is going on.

had same problem on blueline with July vendor, but OP says it is based on July so dunno..
Well everything is working good for me so far. That just scared me lol.

no because i lost twrp and won't have my PC until tonight. then i think I'll go back to my previous rom because of a AOD problem. let us know if with August vendor the message will disappear tough!

yes i tried also. with both August and July vendors i get same error but phone is usable. let's see in next build what happens

Seem to have the Vendor issue
Flashed latest (August) on both slots with flash-all.bat

Though still debating whether to move or not since 5T is my daily driver.
Used NikGapps Full package and doesn't pass the Setup Screen after connecting to the WiFi(at the start of the setup screen)
The desktop will resume when it restart it.
Macro, Stock, Omni and Full(as Cpt. Strawberry Crepe said) NikGAPPS (26 SEP version) won't let you setup. After you connect to Wi-Fi you get white screen. Also, I don't know why but recovery changes to stock android recovery every time I install the ROM. I'm using TWRP3.4 because I'm not decrypted and your recovery shows some weird characters in recovery file manager. I'm not going to try anything else for now. If you find a fix please let me know.
Update: I got it working with basic NikGAPPS 26 SEP.

I can't stress enough the "remove pin protection".
I didn't do it and now my twrp got replaced by some lineage os kind of recovery that doesn't have access to the encrypted storage. Os runs smooth. Some problems with rotation and designs.
Unable to resist diving into it with the coming out of 1008 version.
Clean flashed 1008 version along with Nik Gapps core 1008 version and recent Magisk canary. Every step was flawless and smooth as always from flashing to initial setup.
I've restored my previous apps with the help of Titanium Backup. Unfortunately, Migrate didn't work properly, with errors.
Although many useful features that I so loved are still missing - there are only three taps in crDroid Settings, it seems rock solid and smooth for everyday use if one can withstand them. For me, the most wanted is fingerprint which I have been heavily relied on.
In short, it is stable and good enough to be used as a daily driver even though the modest developer said it is not for daily use in the first place. I cannot thank you enough for all his time and hard works to make it.
The followings are a few bugs that I came across.
* Music app not working.
* With the center clock, there is a gap between left edge and the first icon as if there still present a left clock.
* Power menu options under 'System Gestures' do not work. Only to find it returned to the default when I revisited after changing options. As a result, no way to advanced restart.

Many thanks for the super fast updates with many more customization options. I especially love options for battery styles.
It's great to see fingerprint is back though some of the apps still do not correctly recognize it. I guess they will work some time in the future when they fully support Android 11. Seeing swipe fingerprint for notifications option is also nice.
Phantom spaces in the statusbar has gone and I have switched to center clock. Thank you for the fix.
I also noticed there was 'link ring & notification volumes' option in the Sound setting which I personally think very useful.

A huge thank you for the updates! Dirty flashed over previous version with NikGapps 20201010 core version. Flawless as usual.
It's great to see more and more customizations are being imported. Lock screen options are really helpful. Nice to see Music app works, in the meantime I had to rely on other app. Advanced restart works fine, no longer need to resort to magisk. Renewed Clock is also good.

I had a clean install of the 19th oct build last night on Dumpling. When I click on Battery on Settings page.. it will close abruptly and brings me back to home screen. Then if I open Settings and click on Battery again, it says Settings keeps stopping.
