These Files and Guides are NOT for the US Sense Version, use only for the U11 life Android One Version!!!
General information
These Files can restore your Device back to Stock or root your Device. The U11 life Android One Version has a/b partitions, so before flashing something you need to know which parition is active
Reboot your Device into Bootloader

(bootloader) current-slot:a
That means slot a is active and you need to flash your Files to boot_a and system_a
If slot b is active you need to flash your Files to boot_b and system_b
You can change the active partition using one of these Commands in Bootloader
Code:
fastboot set_active other
fastboot set_active a
fastboot set_active b
If that doesnt work for you, you should update your adb&fastboot installation.

Great that it worked, thats the reason i wrote "After flashing a system.img you need to wipe data/cache". But please remove your imei and serial number from your post
And a Software Brick is no problem anymore because we have everything here to restore the whole device, as long as the bootloader is working its just a thing of a couple of minutes to restore everything.

Done! And thank you again.

Updated post for downloads of Update 1.10.401.24
And reduced the size of the stock system.img file now. Same content, the whole system is in there but just 1,65GB instead of 2,75GB.

Oh I see now... OTA update is not working... If I do install patch and img, all settings will be passed away and phone wiped ?

For update you need to flash stock boot.img, this will not wipe your device. Just root, magisk, xposed and so on are not working anymore.

So please tell me. I just now want my device to be rooted.
First I should choose new patched boot.img ? Than system.img?
I am confused because you wrote it ROOT
Before installing Updates you have to flash Stock boot.img
So when ve have update what should we do 1st, 2nd etc??
Thanks.

Thats all written in first post. For root you dont need system.img, you just need to flash patched_boot.img for your systemversion and follow the rest of the instructions in first post under "Root"

Okay.
Another question.
My phone just cant update through OTA with an error. It can download it but not install.
Is it because of patched boot previosly installed?
Should I now install new stock boot - 1.10.401.24
then through OTA update it and then install patched ?

That shouldn't be too hard to understand.
Flash stock boot.img
Run the update
Flash patched boot.img for the bew version
Root your device (again)

Anyhoo...
My fault tried to make a phone friendly. Think it was friendly by its way...

To help you, it is important to understand what exactly you did and which files you took.

Huawei P20 Briked?

Hi there
I think my phone is briked. I wantet to downgrade my phone to the 108 version becaus there was android auto working.
So i tried to flash the System.img from the 108 Software. I tried 2 different:
http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=ANE-lx1&firmware_page=0
and the Middle east from the thread here.
Id did flash over fastboot, but after every start the Build number was still on the 112 Firmware.
So i tried the Trebel ASOP, RR and LOS. ASOP Booted but had only forceclose on every service. RR and LOS did not work.
Then i tried to flash the ramdisk, recovery, vendor kernel etc from the update.app from the 108 Firmware. No my phone is briked.
I tried to flash eveyrthing from the .112 updateapp from the Official thread but nothing happend.
Then i tried to flash every possible .img file from the .112 app but most of them gave "Error Command not allowed"
So here i Am. Bootlooping phone and i dont know what else to do.
Since the beginning i could flash every system.img but it still was on the 112 Build and suddenly it bricked. I cant get to the 112 Version back with flashing system.img because it bootloops. Same for Treble and the newest 126 Version or the old 108 Build.
The only thing booting is ASOP Treble but i cant navigate coz of the 1000 of forceclosed errors.
I formated the userpartition as i was asked from Huawei, and bevore i did those installations i did a fullwipe with EMUI.
The Recovery cant connect to the server, and yeah.. i dont know what to do next. ofc i have unlocked bootloader. I bought the Phone in Switzerland with Dual Sim. ANE-LX1.
Does anyone have another idea?
Cheers
EDIT:
After 10000 billions klicks i managed to get through the treble wizzard, even when the com.android.phone has stopped is comming every second.
At the Moment im in the About Phone Screen and i see this: (I am in the newest ASOP Treble SU with gapps)
Model: ANE-LX1
Android Version 8.1
Baseband: unknown
Kernel Version 4.4.23+ (gcc version 4.9x 20150123 (prerelease) (GCC))
Fri Mar 9 09:51:47 CST 2018
Build Number ANE-LX1 8.0.0.112(c432) <------- WTF ?!?
I hope this informations is something to work with.
SIM CARD is not readable.
Edit2:
I connected it to HI SUit. It says my device running properly on the .112 Version (WTF i got Treble installed)
I cant connect anything. How the hell can i get rid of this ****ing wong Build number??
Same for Checking Updates. .112 should be newest (its not its 126) Any ideas?
Edit3:
Can only Flash with fastboot. Twrp cant mount the partitions. Trying to installing the zip or adb sideload gives me an error code or command not allowed :\
i think the best way is
download a FULL-Update for your build
https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/help/huawei-honor-firmware-download-t3790327
read this https://forum.xda-developers.com/hon...flash-t3778085
if you understand and have the know how : good luck
with this way i have my Ho9L reflash to stock-rom
you have to know what you're doing
use Magisk (search inside xda the thread)
this work by me better as SuperSU (with less problem's)
use this twrp, it's work WITH encryption
ttps://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-lite/development/recovery-testing-t3783587
if you understand what i am write - you can reset your phone to "delivered-state" and beginning by zero (initial-setting's) and
what ever you flash - you have a chance to reset your phone
first look on bootloader-screen if
- bootloader unlocked
- FRP unlock
THIS is essential !
last tip: let the fingers from custom-rom if this not expressly build for OREO
OREO is other as NOUGAT ! very different !
Relock your bootloader before trying an Erecovery...
please try this :
- download full update rom for your device, extract the .APP files using HuaweiUpdateExtractor
- boot into fastboot by press and hold Volume Down and plug in usb cable into your pc and your phone, hold it until it boot into fastboot
- do this :
fastboot flash kernel kernel.img
fastboot flash ramdisk ramdisk.img
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
fastboot flash recovery_vbmeta recovery_vbmeta.img
fastboot flash recovery_vendor recovery_vendor.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
- reboot your device and hold Volume Up and Volume Down to get it boot into eRecovery and do Wipe Cache Partitions and then do Factory Data Reset, and reboot again
- let it boot normally, and see what happen next, i can't remember for sure because it's been so long i unbricked my Nova 2s with this method. there are 2 possibility, you'll boot into system normally, or it will boot into eRecovery again and there is an option Download Latest Version And Recovery and you can choose that, of course you should have connection to internet via wifi.
please report back if you have difficulties.

if you could, please provide screenshot so i can see it more clearly.
after you flashing the rom, one thing you must do is to format the data and cache through emui erecovery, as long as you're not format the data and cache successfully, the rom will not works properly.

Hi,
this guide is two years old, if you want to recover your phone, download Service ROM from androidhost.ru website, and flash it using dload method .
Which EMUI version are you running? Your region is C605 ?

Correct, my region is 605. I already downloaded the latest version available for download on that page which is 8.1.
Before my phone went into brick, it had version 9.1
And bring those two update.app

For 9.1 you can download
https://androidhost.ru/2bCG
Unpack .zip archive , find dload file and simply transfer it to the SD card, without unpacking it! (instructions can be found in ReleaseDoc folder).
Turn off your phone and flash FW using three button combo.
Note: Service ROM L-29 contains both version - L-29 & L-09 .

I struggled so hard to download the file, and to my surprise it does not include the software version for the L-09, only for the L-29
Are there any risks if I try to install version 8.1?
Another thing, the Huawei p20 does not have a micro sd slot, I guess I should do it through a USB OTG?

Okay, I definitely don't get the 9.1 for Eml-09 for free.
So last query (I hope), what is less risky, install Rom 8.1 which is for my region and exact model, or install Rom 9.1 with my region but for model L-29 or install a Rom 9.1 for my model but with a different region?
Thank you for your support.

L29 EMUI 9.1 C605. Even if it succeeds the phone will not work correctly.
Most probably you will get the wrong model or in build number "system_0.46 (xxxx)" . HiSuite will not recognize your device (and no OTA update).

How I can return stock rom after root and put twrp

Hello
I just rooted my honor view 10 BKL-L09, I tested the rom CosmicOs but it does not suit me. How to return to the original rom? I tried to put the UPDATE.app file in a directory "dload" but I get a failed error, I tried to extract the files but I do not understand what I have to do.
Do you have a detailed procedure for walking on to hand over the official rom?
Thank you

I extracted the highlighted items, is that it?
https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2018/21/7/1527420105-capture-update.png
That's what I did but it does not work :
1) fastboot flash ramdisk RAMDISK.img
2) fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img
3) recovery boot => wipe all data, cache, ...
4) reboot in fastboot mode
5) flashboot flash system SYSTEM.img
Now my phone restarts in a loop.
Do not wipe from twrp

first, check this
I Want you to try this go to twrp>mount system and check if system partition have files and it is intact, if not you need to flash whole rom again or a new RoM (asop or anything to boot it)
next, open fastboot mode and flash this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-view-10/how-to/stock-recovery-getting-to-stock-t3754797
this is a stock recovery steps are given about how to install it , once you are on stock recovery,
open recovery clear cache and perform factory wipe once done it should boot if system partition is intact
NEVER PERFORM WIPE FROM TWRP, it seems buggy screwed my device too

Hi i have a big problem. I have download the last bkl EU rom, 160 build, i flashed 3 files but the device get bootloop and i don't know what i can do.
Anyway when i buy the device i had 141 build, then i unlocked and try trwp with carbon.
For to return to stock i flashed the 3 files from 160 build. Maybe i have to take 3 files from 141 build? Because i had this build how base rom?
You flashed the 3 download files from hwff? Then u have to flash the No check recovery before.

I downloaded it but gave me the same error at 5% of process. I bought the device in amazon Italy so the european stock rom must work.
Any idea?
I followed the suggestion to flash the stock recovery but now I've no access to the system and not to the bootloader. With twrp at least I could go in fastboot mode. Now I can flash nothing and the device goes in loop without system. And factory reset gives an error at 10-12%

Ok now I had success in enter in fastboot.
The stock file is the same you posted (22th may).
This one doesn't work with the dload power+up+down.
So I want to extract the 3 files, I put in profile "unknown" (or other) but when I select the folder of update.app returns this error: ERECOVERY_VBMET.img: Invalid header crc -Expected: 14228 Got: 54798
Ok I disabled the check of headers to solve that problem

Oh the pain, the agony. I got magisk working. Had to do a full Data-Cache-Dalvik wipe, Oreo came up clean, ran TWRP 3.2.1 via Fastboot boot then used the phone to flash itself. Then flashed Magisk installer all good.
Except that I lost data and my apps and titanium backup was on the phone so I lost that for recovery. All the legal apps came down via Google Play but still lost about 60 apps. Used titanium to access apps stored in Nandroid and got most of them back. still fixing up apps with Lucky Patcher, will get there soon I hope.

[Unofficial][Q]Twrp Recovery for Xperia 1/5 On Android 10

Hello dear people !! ^^
Since we have in a short time Android 10
We don't have recovery for it.. Sadly enough but..
I found this on a chinese forum and make a guide of it.
I don't own the Xperia 1.. Not yet but next week i have one,
So i hope all you people understand this guide because i
explained it as far i can do it.
----------------------
.. Requirements ..
Unlocked bootloader
Xperia 1 Or 5
Android 10
Knowledge howto flash
----------------------
Important !!: rename your patched boot.img what you did
with magisk to kernel.img in put it in this zip Here
1: Remember to back up all your data
2: Make a clean install of the firmware,
!! don't boot after flashing !!
3: Turn the phone into fastboot mode
and connect and type this command in cmd window:
fastboot flash boot twrp-xperia1.img
Here the fastboot twrp file
4: fastboot this command of vbmeta:
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
Here the vbmeta file
5: Press and hold the volume down and power at the same time,
release the powerbutton but keep
pressing volume down button till you enter twrp.
6: Copy the 3 zips:
The boot.zip where your own kernel.img is inside
what you did at the beginnig of these steps
twrp-Xperia1-3.3.x.zip: Here
Magisk-v20.1.zip: Here
to the phone storage, and flash in twrp
7: Start it up and done
Note: If you encountered
damaged internal storage, format internal memory in twrp
and all went just fine.

This doesn't lead to success with an Xperia 5. Once you try to boot into TWRP at step 5, you got a note that the device is corrupt and will shut down in 5 seconds.
Thanks ASap people try this I will install and try it! Know bug? Is this still in very testing version? For the moment I don't want to touch my device.
The clean install is necessary? Any incompatibilities with some magisk modules? Im currently using: smali patcher, taichi, youtube vanced
Why isn't there a Thread in the Xperia 5 Forums? Just found this out of Luck...
Instructions are also bit confusing... Where is the vbmeta.img from? Google? And why do i need a boot.img if we have already a TWRP boot.img? Will the one boot.img not replace the other?
Flashing a new Firmware makes also no sense if you just do "fastboot -w" to erase all Userdata. (If coming from a clean Firmware like i do, or You do right after unlocking Your Device)
Edit: So in a nutshell
-We do boot up the twrp boot.img to be able to flash Zips!?
-We do flash vbmeta to unsecure our booting!?
-We do flash our own boot.img with the Zip that the Device can work right!?
-We do flash the TWRP Zip which edits our Ramdisks to add TWRP
-We do flash Magisk (Optional!?) for only Root? Or also needed Kernel changes!?
Would be nice to also make links to XperiFirm and UnSin to get the boot images...
You could also edit the boot.zip script for "magisk_patched.img" so users don't have to rename it
Just want to support that btw. Thanks for Your work anyways!
---------- Post added at 15:47 ---------- Previous post was at 15:07 ----------
Xperia 5 booted well into TWRP but it freezes everytime i start a flash or wipe. Got the storage to work with fastboot -w after flashing the twrp and vbmeta images. Adb Sideload does also not work. Looking forward to a working version!
TWRP unable to flash zips
Well, the title says it all. I can flash the twrp image, but it freezes when flashing zips or starting sideload. I'm using a J9110. I understand you're not supporting here, but just in case you had some tips. Oh and by the way, hoi vanuit Leiden
EDIT: Found the fix: don't change the language to english before opening twrp, and it will flash just fine!
xperia 5 fix plz
I've installed this, it work but boot in chinese and cant load the usb mtp driver on my pc, I cant move the boot.zip to flash, had it put on sd card, cant find the sd card on this crappy twrp, for me is a no. I'd just stick with patched boot until something better will work.
mtp should work if you follow every instruction and boot twrp in chinese.
Having the same issue as others... it appears as though the internal storage is encrypted, but I have no lock screen enabled in the ROM. No Passwords or Fingerprint either. Tried wiping data from within TWRP froze the system. Performed a wipe from within ROM, and now the ROM shows internal data folders as though they're encrypted. Need a pinch of help here.
This method has problem if 55.1.A.3.149 is flashed. The "Start" screen freeze with no touchscreen function on reboot after the procedures completed.
Is there any update to this?
Hopefully with 3.4 will bring a more stable twrp. It includes changes for devices updated to Android 10
I hope can teach how to get your patched boot.img
It's not too much complex to make it work
download firmware from xperiFirm
unsign the boot.sin to get boot.img for your xperia 1
flash the twrp.img to your boot slot_a/b
boot into twrp
install the boot.img, twrp.zip, magisk.zip

It's not too hard to get one
Get the origin boot.img from xperiFirm, twrp.zip
boot into any twrp on any device
backup your own boot paritition
install the boot.img, twrp one by one
then backup the boot partition, you get the patched-boot.img

This is simple about TWRP: Your phone have МТК Helio Р60 MT6771V/CA WITH Android 10.0 and it's a NEW phone now. So no developments yet.
For install GSI ROMs your need unlock bootloader and after follow the correct instructions to new phones shipped with A10!
If you only want install GSI so I suggest:
1- Have stock ROM first, always!!;
2- With security 1- you should unlock bootloader;
3- You can install GSI with stock recovery without problems.
The only part is: you cannot backup userdata.....

Cool This helps already a lot.
i unlocked the Bootloader properly, but then i got a partition error. I assume i´ve an error in the command line. The phone was anyway only an interim solution till my POco F2 was back from repair. now i use it as a playground.
fastboot erase system - there i get a partition error.
erasing the User data was sucessful
but then
fastboot flash system system.img it stops at step 1/15 again for the partition error (partition doesn´t exist) Stock rom is available.
somebody knows the options i´ve to add to the command line?

Try but REMENBER I am not responsible for any errors. Bootloader should unlocked by adb-fastboot!!
Spoiler: Instructions
1. You need know the difference about fastboot and FASTBOOTD in your device!!
Your device has bootloader mode: recovery - fastboot - reboot (system)
Stock recovery has very options: reboot system - reboot to bootloader - wipe - Enter fastboot - ...
reboot to bootloader => normal fastboot
Enter fastboot => FASTBOOTD
FASTBOOTD => some options
2. Device in fastboot
Code:
fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
vbmeta file from stock ROM or pulled from device
3.
Code:
fastboot -w
4.
Code:
fastboot reboot fastboot
(you MUST be at the FASTBOOTD menu now. If not, you will not be able to flash the GSI successfully)
5.
Code:
fastboot erase system
or
Code:
fastboot delete-logical-partition system
6.
Code:
fastboot delete-logical-partition product
- deletes the product partition, allowing a larger system partition
I not need resize-logical-partition product. But if you want:
You will need a larger system partition to flash a GSI. There are 2 ways to achieve this
6A. fastboot resize-logical-partition product 509344768
6B. fastboot resize-logical-partition system 3089272064 or 3889272064
resizes product and system partitions. This gives you about 3GB of system partitions. You can adjust or arrive at your own numbers if you want different sizes.
7.
Code:
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash system GSI.img
8.
Code:
fastboot -w
for confirm great & fast start GSI
9.
Code:
fastboot reboot bootloader
9A.
Code:
fastboot erase userdata
for confirm and boot clean
10. Reboot to system
Code:
fastboot reboot
Enjoy
I also have an N20 Pro which I received Dec 2020. Had some trouble setting it up. I got the OEM ROM from Doogee customer support and was able to extract the boot image and patch it with Magisk. I then burned it with the SP Flash tool. It wouldn't boot until I burned a special vbmeta.img to turn off encryption. Now it's working fine.
Sorry this doesn't help you with TWRP but I think most people looking for TWRP are really looking to root their phone.

Hi all
i want to install TWRP on my Doogee N20PRO . i cannot find a TWRP File on the internet to install. I could find some for the N20 but not for the N20PRO. it´s an Helios P60 Processor with an MTK6771. I tried to install the HAVOC 3.7 but i get the Message "writing 1/15 failed (remote: this partition doesn´t exist)

Okay so what ive seen is that you should avoid flashing custom roms via adb fastboot especially with our doogee phones, and also there are many incompatiable roms so what you will need is to unlock bootloader and do the whole twrp install thing adn also install magisk
before hand install treble info from google playstore and take down the information "arm64 a/b" and search for roms with that information to install custom os/rom/gsi properly. GSI versions are more preferred if your phone supports treblle
if your twrp keeps getting wiped after reboot open file :mount your system and connect to pc via usbcable (mtp if not showing disable mtp and re- enable it )
now got to where build.prop is saved there will be a file called recovery from boot.p , copy the file to pc , open with notepad, remove everything , save and copy back to phone (overwrite)
then go ahead and install magisk
make sure your magisk is working install edxposed, riru core , and busybox ndk get the apps you need for them (edxposed manager...) and then instal and activate a module which you can test if its working(if framework is active in edxposed manager and the module working correctly then you can go ahead and
Install custom os through twrp
follow these instructions ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...lexperience-10-gsi-android-10-stable.4081685/ ) with your custom rom (corvus, havoc, lineage...
(the g-apps didnt flash for me (error code 64) but i just rebooted and everything was working fine (including gapps but camera sucked (doogee's rear camera setup was just terrible))
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...lexperience-10-gsi-android-10-stable.4081685/
** i can confirm follow instructions properly and it should work (i used this pixel experience on my doogee n20 make sure you unzip the .xz file and youre flashing a .img file
**also make sure its the gsi file (
