Tez not working in custom rom - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

I'm using pixel experience ROM without rooting device. Tez not working. Help me to solve this error.

Tez application does not work with custom roms anyhow...nothing you can do.

Root your device using magisk latest version .
Check for safety net . It must pass else u cannot use payment apps like tez
Use magisk hide on ur desired app .
(in case even after Flashing magisk things doesn't work then )
I recommend you to wipe System
Flash rom +magisk +other stuff that u use .
Reboot
Remarks : 1) dont use xposed
2) don't use any pirated crap (don't ask why )
3) flash rom +magisk at the same time .NOT AFTER BOOT .
4) flash magisk modules (if any u use ) after first boot .
5) check for playstore certification

How?? By hiding magisk?.. i have RR oreo..no root though it did not work

Im on Resurrection Remix oreo on Redmi note 4.. but google assistant is not activating..i have google updated app and as well as a beta user, but when i long press home button google app opens..but not assistant page.. i speak 3 times "Ok Google" but then it does not go to next page and stuck there...any help will be much appreciated.

You should go to Settings>Configurations>buttons>hardware keys>homebutton long press action> set it to Google Assistant rather than search assistant

How to set it to google assistant..there is no option in custom application. My main problem is when voice training after 3 successfull step it did not go to next page like "im in".. it stucked on the page.

Another thing...i can't upload any screenshot in this thread..i have good internet connection..but it always says bad connection, couldn't upload file.. I have tried many times

This is what I'm talking about. It should be there.
Maybe try clearing app data and updating.
One more thing, assistant is available on gapps packages from nano and above

I have tried clearing data,it did not work. And i had above nano gapps also..dont know what is the problem..why it stucked on that page!!..even now i cant post any picture..strange

Hey mate...i got the option now as your screenshot google assistant..finally i can see the assistant page...but then alas the same prob..after ok goole and hey google it does not go to next page

Can someone help...in my RR oreo multitone flash is not working..only yellow led flashing...how to fix it??..tried google camera and stock camera

Use Lineage or Carbon official.

For banking apps to work properly without root you should flash Lineage OS official build (Official Oreo will be out soon)
or Carbon (Oreo builds released yesterday).
Install Lineage if you're fine without customizations and stuff and install Carbon if you want some customizations as it supports substratum and have built-in features.
Both Lineage and Carbon provide good security and if you are a user who use Banking Apps a lot, I suggest you to stick with these.

No tez is not working on official lineage 14.1, even hidden from magisk

Banking apps didn't find to work in ROMs with SELinux status as Permissive and official Lineage has Enforcing with all builds signed with private keys. So, I didn't face any issues with any banking apps whether its Tez or BHIM or any other.
Never tried banking apps while using root but magisk hide should have the job done.
So, its tested and I'm damn sure that banking apps work in Official Lineage and Carbon (but without root).
