Honor 9 not certified? - Honor 9 Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
I have an issue after updating my Honor 9 to C432B360 (Oreo). My Device failed by checking the certification for Google Services.
Anyone else recognized this issue, or is there a solution to solve it?

I have B360 Certified with unlocked bootloader and Magisk
Have you rooted or unlocked your Honor?
Sent from my Honor 9 using XDA Labs

No, I have neither unlocked bootloader nor root.

You can try to root your phone with Magisk, it should be able to restore certification

Solved. I resetted my Phone to factory defaults. Now it works again.

Any way to update LMY48Z AT&T Nexus 9 to Marshmallow?

Hi all, I know there's no official AT&T update to Marshmallow yet for LMY48Z but is there any way around this, perhaps by fooling the system?
It's for my girlfriend's device, which is NOT unlocked or rooted. I'm considering Android N, but slightly prefer a more stable route.
Thanks!

Fastboot flash the factory image from google. You will have to unlock the bootloader. There's tutorials in the general section to help you. Then you'll be on stock 6.0.1, and can flash each monthly update as it is released.
Thanks, but that will wipe the data from her tablet, correct?

No, it will not if you flash the bootloader, system, vendor, and boot images individually in fastboot. But you really will need to do a factory reset. When upgrading major system steps like this, 5.X.X to 6.X.X you will face a lot of force closes and other issues unless you wipe...
Unlocking the bootloader doesn't wipe data any more?

Unfortunately, unlocking the bootloader will wipe your device.

fastboot oem relock <16-digit code>
it will relock (RE) and not lock actually
for locking you need to purchase a software DC Unlocker and all those stuffs.
but with relock also, you will get the OTAs.
Can you give more information please , what you mean by software DC unlocker

I unrooted mine to do an ota and it relocked through the update. Not sure why? I'm using the AL-10 version and update was from KIW-AL10C92B236
to KIW-AL10C92B245. I never had twrp installed, just used it when needed via fastboot boot twrp.

Might be something to do with my version. The software seems a bit different to the rest. I've noticed that there's no cust partition either. Also for the update I got a message that "the system has been modified and need to download the latest full version". It was done through the emui update app too.

how can i flash a factory image on a xperia xa ultra F3213

Hello everyone
I have been waiting for some time to update my XPERIA XA ULTRA to Nougat 7.0 and have been observing that many people are up to date with the update and would like to know if I can download and install the update manually.
If so, they could help me with the steps and the tools to do it.
Thank you very much.

No, I am waiting for my device to be updated in Guatemala I have it with a carrier here in my country, and I want to know if I can manually put it either with flashtool or from the bootloader update.
(sorry for my bad english )
To use flash tool you would need to have your bootloader unlocked.
I have that most branded xa ultra can't unlock bootloader.

Mine is branded, and can't unlock, useless and ignorant policies preventing us from getting the updates ourselves as the manufacturer doesn't seem to care.
I'm rooted would to flash 7.0 but no us ftf files.
All could fine is a 7,0 Latin America generic ftf and will not take trying to flash it.

You can flash stock ROM with flashtool without unlocking bootloader.
You can regain root after flashed to 7.0 (.182) by flashing boot followed by TWRP.

Yes I already unlocked bootloader
did you tried the existing guides here?
if you did what failed?
I suggest you using the orange fox recovery, I tried before the red wolf but couldnt make it work on latest versions. Once you have the recovery, install magisk.
