You're welcome ! Regarding your first question i personally don't recommend microG for stability, but if you want to use it go ahead . And mobile standby in 11 hours it drained me 3% so it might be fine for you as well

I'm waiting for AFH approval to upload there. Until then builds will be uploaded to transfer.sh . Try canceling download and starting again, that should fix the slow download speed.

Also can't remove AEXPapers (maybe other apps too, didn't try) by System app remover.
Would be nice if I can change notification count badge color.
While scroling Playmarket have some lags, which I don't have in stock EUI rom.
When I download apk by built-in Via browser, I cant install it. (celsoazevedo dot com/files/android/google-camera/)
When device turned off and charging, screen is black color but always ON.
Gonna test this rom more.

For removing system apps i use link2sd.
For the other stuff, flash the new blackscreen kernel. No lag, better battery etc.
I find this rom very fluidy with the BlackScreen-4.8-oc-test1

I just give feedback, not trying to fix.
Discovered one more "feature", when I double tap on main screen, dispaly turns off, but I didn't enable this anywhere.

Yes, there's no ir apk, i completely forgot that and system app remover Is not working too, need to see whats wrong. Playmarket doesn't lag for me but Maybe that's kernel related and Will discuss that, but i don't think it'll be fixed for the next build.
Maybe some permissions are missing on the built in browser, just use Chrome ir another browser . Will look into that too, but be patient as I'm a new dev
And the last thing, in order to charge the phone while off it's a driver thing, it's that or we don't have off charge at all.
EDIT: Camera flash works!
For me its very smooth, just 1 thing to add: The battery monitoring doesnt works well for me; Its showing some stats about draining, but it doesnt refresh after a amount of time.. not even after a reboot
Been running this ROM for a few hrs and I have to say it is great.smooth,fast,no lags,good sound,no problems everything I use has worked flawlessly.very good job thanks to everyone involved.

Quick q, but I think this is a general issue with OP2 and custom ROMs, trying to record calls using acr without success. Not sure what the call recording option in dialer setting does?

Hey I want to thank you for this wonderful ROM its been 2 hours since I have flashed didn't notice single bug .. this will be my daily driver from now on .. Loved it !!
there has been this particular bug on almost every 7.1.x rom :-
using hike messenger causes network drop for about 3 seconds(everytime) :- is it there ?
please someone check this out ^_^

Issue is for OOS base, trying with OOS 3.1.0

If you need VoLTe, flash OOS 3.5.6 then clean flash this rom.

->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff are merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend clean flash.

->No.

For HW Key remapping you can use flar2's hardware key remapper from the play store. The ROM feels really stable, SELinux is not enforcing for anyone interested and also it doesn't feel quite as smooth as Nougat yet but it's definitely a daily driver as far as I've seen. Keep up the good work!

I have no experience with AOSPextended. I come from AOSiP and want to ask if it´s possible to take a screenshot only from a part of the screen (in AOSiP it was possible by long pressing the screenshot-icon). Is there a similar function in AEX ...or will there be one?

Hi,
just want to say that gps is working very good on this rom. I tested it today at several locations, and always got a fix in less than two minutes. That is amazingly fast compared to the other OREO based ROMs.
Also no fcs of apps, no reboots and no issues until now.
Btw.: I just installed only the rom and rooted with Magisk. No Gapps or other mods (kernels, audio, ...).
Thanks for the wonderful rom.
I just had some problems with Android Web view. Changed in settings to Chrome.
Rest works perfectly so far.

Faced this strange issue with Custom Nav Bar app.. when i tried to make the navbar compact in size, The screen went black and i had to reflash the ROM. even after reboot it went black. If possible can you integrate some navbar customization option?
Auto brightness is very slow, display response feels better than on miui!

No oreo rom can handle it perfect, we have to wait for a pie rom ro fix this.
Is this current build worth flashing over unofficial or am I basically getting the same build atm?
EDIT also this update in the update menu of the unofficial build isn't downloading, it just sticks at 0% for me.
I tried dirty flash over unofficial... Bootloop.... Reflashed unofficial normally booted... Should i Clean flash it? Isn't it an update;???

I think we should consider this a different entity since both of the ROMs are created by different devs. Better to clean flash as I did it myself and I don't have any problems.
I'm having trouble connecting to bluetooth devices on this ROM, specifically my pebble time and bt headphones.
The pebble would connect at first but after idling for a few hours, it would disconnect and never connect unless I do the pairing process again. I don't know if the log has any valuable information but it is taken while I attempt to connect the pebble time from the pebble app.

Bug:
Upon first boot, I get an Android System message pops up stating “There’s an internal problem with your device. Contact your manufacturer for details.” I get that same message every time I reboot, so it's bit annoying.
Same was present in Unofficial build so i know it's just mismatch error but if it can be fixed in next version it'll be great
Otherwise first impression is great, fluid smooth and packed with essential features.
I'll be back with review & bugs if any after using it for few days.

Quite a few of the things there are significant depending on your usage of android. Many of these features are things I regularly use, so if you look through the list and search up what was done, it warrants a change from 6.0→6.1 with the effort it took to add features.

Yessir. Not to mention a lot of changes are "under the hood" so to speak, so while you may not see the changes, you can certainly feel them. Bug squashes and improved performance, battery life, etc...

Yes, both unlock and gestures work perfectly. I've been using this rom for a week with no issues whatsoever.
Last rom update installed yesterday.
No issues, no bugs.
anyone tested auto call recording working on dailer ??
Settings/extensions/statusbar/statusbar items gives me a system UI force close. Anyone else experiencing this? Clean install, magisk root with TWRP treble r22. No logs at this time. I can try to capture later today.

So, I have the honor to write the first comment . Just flashed it on my N910G. Booted up quick. WiFi, data, camera, etc. works. Didn't test bluetooth.Thank you devs for adding another ROM for our beloved Note 4 to the Pie ROMs list.

And what? It is forbidden? If you don't use a cover, this your business. And I use. Don't specify to me what to pay attention in ROM to and what not to pay attention to.

Simple fact is FlipFlap (the app responsible for flip cover actions on custom roms) relies heavily on the LineageOS SDK to work, so it won't work any ROM not based on lineage. If you really really need this functionality, then either stock rom or lineage

Thank you for the clarification. When I try to choose the most optimal ROM for myself, I installed both LA and RR and crDroid. I thought that the settings of the cover are everywhere present by default. It is a pity that this ROM and Havoc do not support the flip cover.
Is it me or the link says that the person has exceeded their download limit? I can download anything?

Unfortunately, at least for now, both his newly released ROM's are hosted on OneDrive...it has limits....sucks.....

Bluetooth crashed , I can't find force kill app using back key, Voice over WiFi works using Magizk module GPS locks and loads. I still haven not tried Google pay or NFC ,Infrared sensor works Using anymote apk, Ported Digital Wellbeing apk works
Question: I'm used to pressing the home button to wake up the phone, but this ROM will not wake up that way. I also can't find an option in settings to enable this feature. Does anyone know of a solution for this? I have also tried gravity box, but I can't find an option there either.

That was my first thought when I tried it too - also the capacitive back/recent buttons on each side of the home button don't light up at all. Hopefully these are small things that can be implemented eventually?
Does this rom have 'color profile' option available in Settings?
I can't use any los based 9.0 rom because, they don't have this option and its important for me.
Pls let me know.
