Ive got the P768e variant. I bought it on contract from Star Hub Singapore.
Could anybody guide me with the rooting? The KDZ thing is confusing me. Is it just a firmware and any would work or i need to get the Singapore specific one?

I have just bought a supposedly sim free lumia off ebay only to find it has Vodafone firmware on it and its locked to Vodafone.I could go through all the ballache of sending it back to the seller but thought id check out my options first. I have a giffgaff sim (o2)
Is there a way of unlocking the phone for free?
and/or is there a way of flashing generic firmware onto the phone?

If you do not try you'll never know
You can desimlock your L925 and you can flash unbranded Firmware/ROM/Product Code.

Hello, thanks for your efforts on that great thread !! I tried it and succeeded to unbrand my L925 (T-mobile) ! but the problem is that the phone still Simlocked to T-mobile !
Do you have any idea how can i désilocker this phone ?

Hi,
You need to ask T-Mobile to provide a code of simunlocking.
You can maybe also go through a specialized service on Internet.
Root method for Vodafone Smart 4 fun (Vodafone 658)
Hi everyone!
I need a root method for my vodafone 658. I need to mention that I've tried all iroot; oneclick, shamu; towelroot and so on.
If anyone knows any method to tell me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated currently have a lg g5 h850k telstra branded phone have been trying to debranded it but failing to do so because when i flash a kdz in lg up i get fails it won't referbish this phone only up grade but when it does this all of the branding is left i use a optus sim card telstra are way to expensive and you pay for stuff i dont need.
I've tried to flash generic kdz but this to comes up with cust issues and make it unusable.....any help would be appreciated.
P.s atm i can't even hot spot this thing because of the Telstra modem so if some can decompile the telstra kdz and refix it for a locked bootloader that to would be appreciated.
P.s.s just tried to get root but it fails......properly due to the fact it is h850k........
