Samsung Family Hub application - Tizen Software Development

I'm wanting to create a "Samsung Family Hub" clone and emulate Tizon on an All-In-One touchscreen PC and install the Samsung Family Hub application on it. I've found some how-tos to install Tizon, but have been unable to find the refrigerator (tizon) version of the Samsung Family Hub app.
Anyone know if this has been duplicated?
Thanks

To my knowledge, nobody has tried to hack their refrigerator and dump the firmware. I could be wrong though.
You might want to check a samsung firmware site for the model number.

Matlab for Android?

anyone knows if it exists or if someone are working on it?
I thinks that it would be a great app in android and there be possible (iphone has a version of it)
thanks everybody.
you make a very good job and make this SO better.
Why not ask the company that makes the software? It's not OSS so there's not much the community can do with it.
Wow...didn't know they had an app for iPhone. How much functionality does it have? I agree, your best bet would be to contact them...

I don't think that the matlab iphone app was actually a scaled down mobile matlab. I'm pretty sure it just let you remote control matlab on a nearby computer. It would send some of the results back to your phone though. And there is an android app that does exactly that, Matlab Remote for Android.

Have a look at this one:

thanks for replies, I 'll ask to company.
I 'll write news here.
thanks.
the matlab version on iphone can do the calulcation base stuff but it won't do any plot and those kind of graphical stuff
least not with the one i played around with a few months ago
Check out the app called Addi
There is a light-weight, java based, open source, matlab / octave clone app for Android called Addi. It is published already. Plotting is in the works, but a lot is already there.
I think there is an octave-like port in the works. (waiting on froyo to clean up a bit, I believe.)
Octave in traditional should give a lot of backend/normal functionality.
Command remotley Matlab with Matlab Commander
Although not a standalone app like Addi, if you are interested in remotely command Matlab on your PC you could try the newly released Matlab Commander.
Look for it in the Android Market.

As I was also searching for Matlab on android...
I found out that it would be possible to run linux on android!!!!
And my university also has the licenses for matlab on linux.
So does anyone this already tried?:
To run matlab in your linux on android?
I did not tried it yet, because your phone need to be rooted to run linux, and I did't do that because I didn't wanted because of warranty reasons. But if someone says that this is possible than I might want to root
grz.
the next problem will be getting the ARM version of the matlab

Moving to Q&A
If you're still looking for a Matlab client you might find Anoc interesting which is an Octave (=Matlab clone) editor.
Can't imagine how trying out programs in a phone is going to be comfortable.. Maybe tablet.. What if someone wants to use matlab functions in development.? Do you think there are specific libraries included?

hey guys. i'm new into android developpment.
i have my senior project in my university (i'm a 5th year telecommuncations engineering student) and its about developping an android app that creates a custom watermark (location +date+ text entered by user) and affects it to an image then uploads it to a server, its supposed to be designed for bloggers and offshore journalists... i cant seem to get a good concept... how am i supposed to use matlab via my android? or i can just find a function that does the water mark and add it to my code?
would any one of you be kind enough to help me create a decent diagram for my app, to make it clearer?
thanks in advance

[Q] Possible backdoor on port 12345? netbus?

Hi.
Just scanned my SGS3s ports any there is only one opened - port number 12345. I made some research and it can be netbus backdoor trojan or italk chat system? I scanned my android with avast, avg and lookout, no threats found. But I also dont have any app called iTalk Chat System.
Any clues what is this, how to trace it and close it?
Running SGS3 International, UK stock firmware 4.1.2 with root.

If you Google "iTalk chat system" there's a ton of information about it, leave you to do the reading

Yeaj I have done reading about it before posted, but still no clue. Google says various thing - or its a unix chat server or something with voice text to speech or VOIP. Never had installed anything like that. Is this somehow connected to genuine Android/Samsung TTS apps?

[Q] Samsung Factory ROM includes logmeinrescue mobile support

Hi Guys,
I've been working in IT a while using logmeinrescue to support my clients. They have a mobile addon which allows me to remotely control a device, i can see the screen, swipe around (laggily) and anything else that i could do if i was physically at the phone. Fantastic for supproting a growing number of BYO devices.
However in the optimisation of roms, people have pulled out whatever service/software component allows you to do this. I'm wondering if someone knows if this is something that could be packaged up and submitted separately?
The play store app that initiates the permissions to allow this remote support and interaction is called "Rescue + Mobile for Android" and i've successfully used it to remote control a stock Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300. However i can't do the same on mine, i'm limited to just pushing wifi settings or opening a website for users.
So the question directly is: Can someone more knowledgeable package the missing component to allow remote control? What would be required?

Found this system process running. Is this a china embedded virus..

It's its called data gospel
I put this it in Android system hacking feel free to move it around any other place. But this service showed up as a system service
data_gospel
then I've dug a few more details about it
And the name showed up very suspicious.
Does anyone have a clue what what this thing does.
needless to say for the time being I am disabling this

data_gospel app removal
Hi, I found data_gospel showed up as a threat when I scanned the phone with ESET security. I used System App Remover from the Play store to delete the app and the phone works perfectly well without without it!

These types of things are normal for China based devices. They have things built in that allow them to monitor what people do with their devices. Just something you will get used to if you buy devices from China.
it's a similar or sometime worse deal from US based cell phones. example there is a process called Google backup transport or something like that and another one that is so nice specific called g a proxy that stands for Google Analytics proxy and both these processes connect to Google servers to transmit your data everybody wants to be big brother watching over you
but the Chinese ones are very surreptitious and hard to detect if they come embedded along with the stock OS which does not report them as being Malware
