How to fix cropped icons - Huawei P20 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi, I'm new to EMUI and I would like to stick with default Huawei Home launcher, but there is one issue.
Some circle icons (ex. Chrome, Google apps) are cropped on top/sides so it's no more perfect circle. In deafult 3D icon packs it's okay, in flat pack it's cropped.
I tried many icon pack, for example from Huawei P20 Pro, but it's either same issue or they are not suitable at all for me. Any suggests?

Google apps icons change?

[REQUEST] Modified TouchWiz Home with More Features?

Has someone developed a cloned or modified TouchWiz Home that is capable of using icon packs, gestures and other features seen on other launchers?
I want to revert to using the default launcher, because in terms of UX it's more efficient, for example the app drawer slide/reveal animation is less jarring, centred app page label and better icon spacing, Also I have noticed icons look sharper with more vivid colour (In Nova, even if I use the default icons they look de-saturated and less sharp no matter the size). More importantly though is the fast performance, the only launcher I've tried that is speedy is Nougat Launcher by N Dev Team, but it contains ads.

My Favorite Icons: Whicons together with Nova Launcher. It's not so colorfull eyecancered, only white and really beautiful done, best together with a space or night background image.
"arraw launcher " by microsoft in google play

Hey.. I'm not sure about the swipe, gestures or any other features that you want..
But you can apply third party icon packs using [APP][4.1.2+] WizIconizer 1.08 Beta - TouchWiz UI Icon Changer

Any way to make icons consistent?

I do not want to use a custom launcher.
I want to have consistent icons. Now the huawei icons are square with round corners and all others are like the google pixel style (round). Is there a way to make all look like huawei or like pixel one without custom launcher? I can't find any satisfied packs within huawei themes.
I also see that P30 pro with emui 9.1 has consistent icons. It wraps all pixel icons with a filling so they look like huawei square icons. Can i get this on my mate 10 pro?

[Q] EMUI Weather widget

Has anyone got the stock Weather Widget to work with a calendar? As seen in the screenshot, the widgetpicker shows the widget to the left with a calendar-reminder... just as in Googles "At a glance". I have never gotten this to work... just the clock and the weather. Is it a leftover from a previous design that didn´t make it to release or is it supposed to work?
How did you get the round icons with the default launcher?

Made my own theme... really easy. You need an iconpack and EMUI Theme Editor.

Thanks! Finally got it to work. That theme editor app is a pain in the ass, but eventually it worked. All my icons are round now, except Google docs, slides and sheets. They stay square, even though in the icon pack I downloaded these are also round. Don't understand why. I downloaded the Pixel Pie icon pack, as I want the Pixel icons. Maybe I should try an other Pixel icon app?

How did you modify the icons in Theme Editor? If you just applied the entire pack some icons are bound to remain unchanged. However... if you choose "Select Icons Manually" you can modify those icons that are missing. Also, you can change the dynamic icons (clock, weather and calendar) but the preloaded ones are not that good. It´s better to use "current" and then choose a static icon from your iconpack.
I felt Theme Editor was a pain too... but I actually paid for the full version to get rid of all the adcrap. After that, it´s amazing.

First I installed the whole icon pack and after that I modified the remaining icons manually. It worked on all the apps. But still, even manually, the Google docs, slides and sheets apps won't change. They remain default square-ish.
That´s strange...
I don´t have any of those apps so I cant check whats wrong. You restarted the phone, right? Sometimes it helps...
Google Docs, Google slides and Google sheets are part of the pre-installed Google apps (like Chrome, Youtube etc..), so you should have those on your Mate. Or did you delete them by adb or something?
I restarted multiple times of course.

I uninstalled them from day one... use Office 365 instead.
I downloaded Google Docs and actually got the same as you... no change at all. I have to admit, it´s the first app that doesn´t change for me, and I have done this for over a year.

Please stick to the original question and try not to deviate too much from it.
Please read the original question by Manneman32. I am also struggling to get the calendar in the widget weather to work and it would be extrimely useful.
Thank you all
Just found it. You have to use the widget with the time in the middle and the dare beneath it. Its the most left widget in the widget chooser.

How to Create a Custom Icon Pack

Hello
I tested several icons pack including "One UI Icon Pack" which perhaps corresponds best to my expectations, but there are icons of all shapes, all sizes, all colors, so not very pretty (see horrible ) on the desk.
I would like to create my own pack of installable icons as an .apk file but I can't find a tutorial on this subject.
I'm on Android 10, with a Galaxy Note 9 and a One + 7T Pro, both under "Nova Laucher Prime".
I created around 60 icons and configured manually in Nova Laucher Prime, to associate an icon with each application using "Gallery" as a means of association.
So I'm looking for a tool in Windows 10 that would allow me to create my own pack of icons, then transfer it to my smartphone, then install it to automatically find the personalized icon associated with each of my applications.
Do you know if it is possible and is there a tutorial with a mini icon pack model and which tool to use in Windows 10?
In advance I thank you and wish you a good weekend
