Copyright issues with the logo .
The team has decided to start a new project and they have shut down their old project . So just wait for their new project . Meanwhile you can use Elixir os latest build as its rock solid and also contains the latest patches . Thank you

It would have been nice to have @Lakku officially address the issue and explain to his users but thankfully you stepped in.
I don't expect that kind of behavior from developer but i guess it is what it is.
Once again, thank you @Boomshiva

Maybe he is working on new project ...or maybe he got upset that he had to shut down his project .
Anyways hope to see something new from him soon

feel sad about what happened to Elixir. The only rom with white camera flash and Torchlight in XDA, actually I'm still sitting in Elixir latest build

Working on new project currently with CAF base now.
It will take some time, some patience is required from your side.

Hi dev, any news?

Custom kernels on Redmi 3

Has anyone managed to boot any custom kernel on their device? As far as I'm concerned every single ROM, available for Redmi 3 (whether it is CM12/13, Resurrection Remix or else) run stock kernels, built by Xiaomi. I tried to compile CM 12 kernel, CM 13 kernel, Open Source Xiaomi kernel, I used gcc 5, gcc 4, UberTC, Google toolchain, I tried modular kernel, monolithic one with no success. It just doesn't boot, though it has the same version and build settings as a stock one.
So am I doing something wrong or Redmi 3 is indeed vendor-locked to boot only Xiaomi kernels?
From the forums I would think no one has gotten it to boot in a custom kernel. I would very much like it if it were possible.
the sources for redmi 3 have not been fully released.. I don't think we will see a full working custom kernel for a while

I'd love a custom kernel. Trouble is I'm not good at coding. Seems Xiaomi is mercilessly difficult about releasing the source code, something I thought was illegal, and this device is locked up as tight as fort Knox.

its actually supposed to be only the mtk devices that source code was difficult to release. qualcomm is usually better in this aspect, even if it is slow. it was like this for samsung as well. we eventually got the codes for everything, just later than what everyone else would have wanted

yeah i was on the developer firmware 8.8.29, i was able to unlock my bootloader luckily.
i dont have any beta account nor i am in the internal testing group. u just need to unlock ur bootloader, and then get twrp and misc.info flashed, as per instructed on the GSI ROM flashing guide.
Not aware of bugs so far but so far so good, performance bump coming from MIUI 9 and some UI changes which are much better and PIP works well as intended like in android oreo.
on a side note @sabar_op, browsing through the miui cn forum, seems like miui 10 8.9.5 is available already ^^

Which ROM do you need?

I'm puzzled which ROM do I build. I want to know which ROM do you like.
By the way, I like Superior, RR, AEX.
-Exclude
Floko, Havoc, Omni, Mokee: there is already official builder
dot: I asked dot team but no answer
Carbon, CAF: somehow failed to build
PixelDust: for Pixel only
other ROMs using automatic build system: need some manually work.
other inactive ROM
pixel experience please!

You have AOSP by phhusson, unless you need a ROM compiled by someone else.
please update aex for mipad4!!!! thanks!!
Please start with vanilla LOS. Most (good?) others can be derived from it...
Not that I want to demand. But what about OnePlus Oxygen OS.? I think it would be really good.. Would it be easy to port? Just a suggestion.
