ok my first Atrix I could do it. I can not find where to do it. It is only showing my the regular tones. What am I missing? Where can I put a custom ringtone for text message. I am using the standard text with the phone.

Here's how I do it:
Install GO SMS
Set the default notification sound in Settings (Android NOT GO SMS) which will be your email notification sound now.
Turn off notifications in the stock Text Message app
In GO SMS set the notification sound to whatever you like.
This way you have one sound for email and another for text messages.
I do like text messages being displayed on the screen as soon as they come in. I've been using this app to display full images of Contacts: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.androminigsm.fsci
But it sure would be nice to only have messages from important contacts displayed for preview instead of all incoming messages.
Can this be done, is there an app or setting for this?
While I am on the phone I get a vibration of a new text or sound of incoming email. Is there a way to make this not happen while I am on the phone?

If I call someone frommy contacts with a picture assigned it shows that picture on inbound and outbound calls.
When calling a unknown number/a contact with no picture assigned it shows a rather nice snow capped mountain, or maybe some trees, seems to alternate

for me its not show the pic even from my contact ... weird !!!
Any solution to this? I find this rather annoying! I like my dark/black themes....
