There's a way to install. But i am fed up with this thing. So many custom recoveries and so many variants.

At what point do we use the no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip?
Also, is there a step that I am missing or any way to fix the fact that the display in twrp displays only 43% battery and in system it only shows 50%, never appearing to charge higher than that? It prevents me from encrypting my phone due to unable to bypass the need for the phone to be charged more before starting the encryption process.

wrong product name
after flash it, it says 3.2.1-op1-woods instead of NICKLAUS. What i did wrong here ??

Nothing wrong. Just go with it.

Changelog 18-December-2018 :
> Fix wrong product name.
> General fixes in TWRP.
> Get download link from attachment.
Note : This is still a port and i made that port, when there is no official twrp recovery for this device. So every fix done in that ported twrp.
EDIT : The bug which is left out is fixed now. No more product, build errors. I already sold my device. So there is no point to make this thread open. If you have any query, you can DM me. Changes on other variants twrp will be reflected soon.

[HELP] SGS2 No flashing from Odin or from Recovery!

I have a recording problem! Turns out I had to do something weird, because if I insert a ROM internal memory of the phone and restart recovery mode (also if Reboot in normal mode), the Rom has disappeared. Just to stay with things stored in external memory.
I have a couple of roms that if I try to erase the internal memory after restarting remain, but even the Wipe from recovery are made (supposedly) as well and reboot again to be all installed programs.
If I go into Download Mode and flashing with Odin gives me all right and when I restart the previous firmware (I've tried several different firmware) and also clear that the kernel I have tested and it is exactly the same.
I even tried to delete the folders and contents of the mobile from ADB (recovery mode) and restart everything remains as before.
It is as if the phone was always read-only mode.
Mobile data:
Recovery: CWM 5.0.2.6
Firmware: v6 CarbonOcean MikiMod (I9100XXKI9).
Kernel: 2.6.35.14-Siyah-v2.0
I ask you please if you know of someone the same thing happens to send me a link to see I'm not the only one that this happens.
Thank you.
P. S. Sorry for my English

This is a development error, because the failure occurs in a cooked firmware and I might not be the only one with this problem.

I wish i could offer some helpful piece of advice, but i really cannot understand anything =/ Sorry

My SGS2 init correctly, but i flash the stock rom, kernel or all this, and the mobile not save changes, this remains in the rom MikiMod. If I use Odin in download mode is exactly the same.

questions for SecDroid "Guru"

Hi there,
I have installed SecDroid this morning ....
I am using a galaxy note 2 with CM-11.
Working well, except that it is a bit the mess on from where to download the latest version of this app ....
I am running the V1 beta, is it the latest version ?
when i click on "Secure Phone" I have:
"Your device is now Secure! thanks for using SecDroid!"
Is there any logs somewhere ? To see what changes it has made on my device ?
Do i have to press "Secure phone" after each reboot ?
Thx for your support.

If you have no idea what it does, even though the description is very clear... I don't even know.
Anyway, official thread is here. Use it.

2) Is the V1 Beta is the latest version ? If no, where to find the latest one ?
3) Do I have to press the Secure phone after each reboot ?
Anyway I hope that I am clear enough.

There is a very low chance that the ROM for some other phone will work for your device even if the specs are same. Since, the same specs don't mean that flash block size, boot partition size etc are same for both phones.
You will have to compile one yourself.

Sounds like a good start.
Someone trying to do TWRP ran into some issues regarding partition:

Maybe that will help?

It would be a good start to inspect a Chinese firmware AND inspect an international firmware.
I doubt it would be encrypted...pretty sure that's illegal as Android is open-source

Decrypting the ROM is not difficult, as we already have the key for PCCM00/CPH1919.
https://github.com/bkerler/oppo_ozip_decrypt
So is there a lot to do if we wanna install custom OS ?

As @winxuser said "I have kernel source but I'll have to make a device tree.."
It will be done I'm sure as he seems determined to find a solution for custom ROM. A tall task, but anything is possible.
I came from Samsung A5 (2017) and it took a long time to get that going.

I have my Oppo bricked (flashed twrp for android 10 above android 11 beta) and moved to Samsung )
So you don't have the actual stock image for this phone if you do I'd really appreciate it if I can get it from you. And I guess I don't understand what you're saying are you telling me that I need to upgrade TWRP or you use that and that's what bricks your phone. Thank you in advance

[Failure] Sky Hawk

Useless thread. Project was a failure. My tab got bootloader bricked. No more hopes.
I thank everyone who tried to help, but without a device, it's impossible for me to constantly test at my own pace and make sure everything works. However you can catch me in the Galaxy J2 threads, because I currently have that device
Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up

oh no, that's not fun. Well the T825 was experimental, I went completely blind into the T825 scene. I will try to make another device tree and see if everything works. For now, flash ashyx's TWRP through ODIN again.
And by the way thanks a lot for testing, I had been itching to know what was wrong or correct : D

Even the T820?. I was looking into ways of fixing the T825, and now the T820 also needs fixing. Anyways for now please flash ashyx TWRP through ODIN while I try to fix things, it seems like the device trees are causing problems...
UPDATE: Added T825 [This time it should work]
I am working on fixing T820
Edit: Updated T820 as well [I am so sorry for making you people go through this I am making a blind build because my Tab S3 died recently and I wanted to give back to the XDA Community that I have stolen from for so long. Please forgive me]
