access internal S6 memory problem - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
A friend of mine told me she charged her phone, suddenly the phone rebooted, loaded the SA from samsung, and got stuck.
Then the phone wouldn't charge anymore.
Initial investigation told me there was a form of oxidation on the usb charger module.
I cleaned it and I could charge the phone to 100%
I can't boot up the phone, it loads back to th SA from samsung , then goes black again, but there's a blueish light pinking on and off.
I did a "simulated" battery removal and tried to reboot in recovery.
There i first got a message : update failed with the android dead on its side, then got the recovery option.
I chose: reboot normally and i got the phone screen for about 5 seconds, then it went black again, but now with a white flashing light and the phone became very hot for a moment.
I disconnected the charger and the light kept blinking.
So i waited untill the light went out (approx 24h) then plugged the charger back in..
Tried cleaning out again , but the phone does not respond anymore.
My friend would like to recover her pictures that are stored on the internal memory card.
I'm out of ideas on how to recover the phone.
I need help, and probably a lot of it (she's very cute )
Any ideas on how to fix my/her predicament?
Many greetings
Izzy

TMobile PDA Phone keeps restarting and wont charge

It was unlocked and working perfect until the battery went completely dead and wasnt charged back up for a week. After pluging in the charger I was unable to do a complete charge as the pda keeps starting up. It runs for about a minute or two then restarts and boots back up, the cycle continues with no end. I got to work for about 10 ten minutes, the phone worked, the charger was active in the battery option menu, but then it started all over again. I've reflashed and changed roms. The amber charge light does appear. Also hard reset doesnt work. Please help, bought the phone used but only got to enjoy it for a day.!
It maybe the battery is banjaxed, I have seen similar behaviour with an ipaq and a defunct battery.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S II fail to boot!

Hi
I just bought a new SGS2 and it was working fine, until i turned it off...I tried switching it back on immediately and nothing worked, so i removed the battery for a few seconds and still nothing. I left it out for the night and the following morning i put it back in and it came back on
I switched it off recently to put my sim card in (it wasn't picking up the sim card) and now it wont start up again. So now I'm going to leave it for the night.
Is there any way to fix this problem? What if it doesn't start tomorrow? I suppose I can get it replaced...but i have very sensative data on it already (Such as my emails, contact info, credit card info, etc) So i don't particularly want to hand it in to a service center. I just want to get it running to remove all my data and THEN hand it in.
Any thoughts on how to get it working temporarily?
Perhaps the battery is dead, plug in the usb cable and see if it starts charging.
Dead battery charge overnight
Dirty Battery contacts clean .
Try a replacement battery .
See if it will boot connected via the Samsung cable to a PC .
Take it you have ignored rule one and backed up all your data ??
In which case you need to ask the service centre are they able to back up the data .
jje
Well i know the battery is not dead or dirty because the phone has power (It's fully charged since the last time I charged it which is just before i turned it off and it wouldn't turn back on again).
The phone acts like it's completely hard bricked....yet i haven't done ANYTHING to it, all i've done is start it up and install a few Market Apps and that's all
I've plugged it into my Computer, and my PC makes a noise when it's plugged in and when i hold the power button it makes a noise...
It refuses to boot in Recovery mode or Download mode...
Thanks for the replies, still stuck tonight!

[Q] [HELP] HTC Desire X won't turn on, but will charge

Guys I really need help with this,
Last night (03/06/2013) my HTC Desire X was connected to my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad Z570) and was connected to HTC Sync Manager, and I was trying to sync my contacts, because I didn't want to loose them. I had previously backed up my photos and music, and just before I went to the Contacts tab, the phone screen and touch buttons went off, but the little red LED at the top stayed on, and didn't flash, and I think the phone turned off, but it showed no screen with HTC on it, it just went straight off. It wasn't the battery loosing charge because it was plugged in, was charging at the time and was over 50% charged before I plugged it in. When I plug it into either AC power or USB charger, the little red LED comes on, but nothing else happens. So I tried to take out the battery for around 5 mins and then put it back in and leave it for about 5 mins, but still nothing. I then tried to hold down the Power button for around 30 secs and it didn't work. Then I tried to hold down Vol- and Power for around 6-10 secs, and still nothing. I then tried to leave it on charge over night and see what that would do, but it did nothing. When I leave it on charge over night it charges fully, and the red LED turns green, but when I plugged it in, it just went red and stayed red. I got the phone around January, February, so it's new enough. I got it from the Carphone Warehouse. It was new when I got it. I haven't rooted it at all, haven't loaded any ROMs onto it or anything. I haven't tried rooting it or anything, and haven't tried any ADB stuff.I haven't downloaded anything from a website I can't trust. I was going to root my device, and that's why I was backing up, but I had already backed up my music and photos from before, but I wanted to make sure so I did it again. I don't know if it's bricked or not, but I've a feeling it is, and I don't know what it is that I did to brick it. I really need the contacts off it though, and I have ADB set up from before when I was just about to root it after I backed everything up. I now have the SIM and SD out of the phone in case it damages them, and I have the phone connected to the laptop with the battery out. I heard that you can take data from a phone using ADB, so when I set up everything, everything was ready and the red light was on on the phone, but the ADB couldn't find any devices. I am running ADB from cmd, and run cmd in administrator mode. I want to try to take all the data from my phone, and then hard reset it using ADB, because the hardware buttons won't come on on the phone.
Thank you very much,
Robbie
If there is not anything on the screen and you can't to go to recovery! Remove your battery for 1-5 minutes then shove in, then press volume- and power buttons! If there is nothing on the screen go to service, because you have or bricked phone or die lcd!

[Q] SGS2 won't turn on - probably NAND probs

Hey guys,
my I9100 died this morning. It won't turn on. It even does not show the charging icon, but I have a glimpse where the problem is located at: The NAND.
So some background: Yesterday, I plugged the phone onto my computer. Windows came up and said the storage is defective and it should be checked. I didn't thought about it and commaneded to do it. So everything was fine. Everything still worked.
The problem appeared this morning: I couldn't start Ingress. It always crashed with an IOException at booting up. So I wanted to clear the app's cache. The phone was calculating the sizes and then stuck. "Okay. No Prob. Just reboot." So I did and put it into my bag, because my ROM (Vanilla Rootbox) needs some time to boot. After some minutes I checked again and saw it stuck the Dorimanx bootscreen which I had disabled. I tried another reboot. It came up with the typical "Samsung Galaxy S II" Logo and the blue bar down it filled and it stuck again.
I tried another reboot by taking out the battery, but since then it doesn't turn on anymore. No Power+Home+Vol Up/Down; no charger; nothing.
With attached battery and charger, it get's hot around the camera lens, but nothing more.
I even tried another battery, some time waiting with battery and without battery; charging and not charging, but still it's dead.
So I think, Windows somehow managed to kill my NAND.
Any ideas?
/edit:
With the battery plugged in, it just get's warm.

Bootloop

Hey, so, firstly I have a blue life one x. I love the phone and haven't had any problems until now.
I got an android update and my phone restarted, which has happened with the last two updates I got, so I didn't think anything of it. However, my phone was practically dead when this started and it restarted and got to the screen where it says "Android is starting... Optimizing application 1 of 143"
It would get to around 100 and turn off, restart and get to about 100 and turn off again.
I googled around and found a thing called bootloop. By what now seems to be a stroke of luck, my phone eventaully charged to about 40% and I got it to turn on and everything was fine but a few days ago, it died again and I ran into the same problem.
I went back to the boot loop instructions and tried it to no avail.
My phone has a fixed battery, so removing it wasn't an option. I left of the phone off the charger for 30 minutes and held the power button for two minutes(to discharge any remaining power?). Plugged it back in and it went right back to trying to boot back up and optimize apps.
I then removed the case, detached the ribbon that connects the battery to the board, held the power button for two minutes and let it sit for 3 hours. I connected the ribbon, plugged the charger back in and it instantly tried to boot up back into the optimizing screen and turned off.
I did all this again but left it for the past two days and now its back to rebooting over and over...
Things of note:
The light indicator turns red when the phone is connected to a charger, whether the battery ribbon is connected or not.
When it displays the blu splash screen, the optimizing applications screen, or recovery mode, the light indicator is off.
I can get into recovery mode, but I can't do anything before the phone turns off and reboots again.
Any help would be appreciated!
