Honor 9 HardBricked not detected by the computer - Honor 9 Questions & Answers

I bricked my phone, I was on Oreo B360. I decided to use DC-Unlocker service and paid 19€. When flashing my phone with DC Phœnix, my computer turned off(because it is old and have some battery problems). No my phone don't turn on and isn't detected by the computer. I have no access to fastboot.
It is HardBricked.
Does anyone has a solution?
Thank you in advance!

Very old thread, haven't seen it but will bother to reply. I had same situation with my other manufacturer's phone. I flashed and accidentally removed USB cable and then couldn't revive the phone. Your motherboard may be corrupted now and only way to get it back is to use test point or replace motherboard

Help! How to repair a bootloop X10 with broken USB

,My phone is dead now, because i flashed custom rom with the wrong custom kernel then after that, system got error, the SD card cant be mounted, SIM card not functioning, i cant even enter xrec mode,it resets itself automatically after few minutes, the worst part is that the USB port is no more recognized by the computer, charging become slower than usually....
i got my phone repaired twice, the USB port has been changed, but its still cant be detected, SE authorized repair center told me that the mainboard need to be replaced, and the price of the MB is almost the price of a new X10, what can i do without changing the MB? i love my X10。。。。
Anybody can help me?
This has been covered before. Search before posting in the future.
As for your problem, search for "Flashtool", and use it to repair your phone. Alternatively, use SEUS or PC Companion. If they don't work, then you might be in bigger trouble than I originally thought.
i cant use flashtool and SEUS bec. of the broken usb port. and its impossible to be repaired, any alternative way to repair it?
If xRecovery and Flashtool/SEUS doesn't work, and your USB port is definitely broken, then a new motherboard may be your only option unfortunately.
I have the same problem I think I have to sell my Xperia in parts.

[Q] Has my SII's USB died?

Well, the day before it occurred to me that I'd like to install a custom ROM, therefore I went on to plug my phone into my PC and for my surprise, the phone didn't pop that MTP warning and the PC did not recognize it.
So I went around and changed USB ports, cables and PCs, same thing.
Decided to try Mass Storage mode, when I press the START button and put in the cable it goes back into the main start screen.
So I went on and tried that *#7284# trick people used since apparently 4.0.3 bugged some crap stuff in the phone, no success either.
Strangely enough I can connect the "pendrive dongle" and it will map pendrives.
Well, I don't have my phone rooted or with SU so that means CWM from app store won't be able to install the recovery module, and I can't install... you get the picture.
Nor ODIN nor HEIMDALL will recognize my phone in recovery mode, wich suggests that the data lanes on my phone went somewhat dead.
Finally, any cable I plug in the phone says it's charging my device, wich leads me to belive that the usb port is dead.
Anyone had this issue?
Anyone can confirm me I'll have to take it to Sammy's assistance?
Sure looks like the USB is dead/dying.
Sent from my digital submersible hovercraft.
So I got one more question, can I root and/or install CWM so I do not stay dependent of the USB to update it or I do need to plug in the USB to install CWM through ODIN?
Several problems
It can be several reasons
1.the usb is dead buy new
2. try factory resetting the device
3. install kies on pc it will install all the drivers that you need
4.your usb port(of the phone) is dead
I had the same problem pc was saying "USB cannot be recognized" I TRIED EVERYTHING from factory resetting, changing pc usb ports, changing usb, changing kernel, roms, trying on other pc, reinstalling kies and drivers but nothing. The problem was in the usb port on the phone where you connect the charger on the phone. That part is weak and so you have to change it. Take to customer service with your warranty and they will fix it without charging anything just tell them your problem and say that you read that most of the galaxy s2 users have this problem and that you didn't touch the hardware of the phone

Warranty has already expired.
Kies was installed on the PC, ODIN gives no info @ COM port.
I wanted to connect it just to root and install CWM so I can swap ROMs as much as I want.
Thing is, the customer service wants 1 week to assess the issue and probably 100USD to fix it.
So for some god-knows-why reason my phone decided to conect to MTP while charging, I quickly restarted it into revocery mode and flashed CF_Root w/ CWM5.5.
Successful!
Bloody USB thingy!
Now I can start messing around with the phone.
Anyone has a n00blet guide on ROMs?
I was thinking about moving to CM 10.1, one of those nightlies running 4.2.2.
This is the one I used >> CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OXX_LPE-v5.5-CWM5
Can anyone suggest actions?
For future you should change your USB-Port. Here we get one for about 15 € (about 20 $) in ebay. It's very simple to change and then you have a full working phone again. Just watch the Videos on Youtube and everyone can do this. Hope I could help!

[Q] MT6589 GTI9500 bricked

Hi guys, I believe I have hard bricked my phone.
I was trying to solve the IMEI lost by installing these bins files (www movilesdualsim dot com/threads/ayuda-con-i9500-s4-with-mtk6589-quad-core-5-0-screen-1920-1080.47124/) using SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1304.0.119, so I was doing so and when SPFlash has finished the phone doesn't boot up anymore. I have tried to flash recovery.img with SP Flash but it doesn't even detect the phone anymore.
When I connect the phone to the PC by USB cable I can heard the connected device sound going on and off and looking the windows device manager I can see a "Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface" device connected but like I said it goes on and off every 5 seconds or so. If I put the battery on the phone it doesn't make any different.
I would appreciate so much if anyone could help me out. I don't usually bother people asking for help but I can't really find how to fix this issue and I don't know if it is even possible to fix it.
Thank in advance

To revive hard bricked Yu Yunique

Hi all,
I have a yu yunique mobile which I got from my friend. He said the mobile is not working. I wanted to re-use that mobile. The Mobile is not switching on. If USB is connected, observed red led on near the front speaker. I searched the internet and got to know that If red led is on near the speaker, then most likely it is a hard brick. If I connect my mobile to PC, PC is not able to detect the mobile. I install all qualcomm drivers. Can any one help me to revive this phone? Is it really hard bricked? If it is hard bricked is there any way to revive this device? Thank you.
now i can able to detect my mobile in my pc. I removed the battery and connected the usb. since battery was not removable, I unplugged the flex connector which connects battery to the main board. with this I can able to flash the device using qfil. but after flashing is success I connected the back the battery. NowI am not able to see any activity on phone. Now that red led is not on. but nothing is happening.
Now i am able to boot up the device guys. When device was not working , I saw a video to revive this device. He suggested to short BOOT and 1P8 pin in the mother board. I did that, then after flashing the didn't removed that short. So after removing the short It worked fine....
bro please help me im on the same situation my yunique yu4711 hard bricked and its detects as qualcomm 9008.. how did u make it...please write details and gimme the qfil and flashing tools details please bro....

Another S8 Bricked

Last week Wednesday I went to do an update on my phone and it hard bricked on me. So, I brought it to my carrier and they said it is bricked and nothing we can do. Then I brought it to U Break I Fix and they said they never seen something as bricked as that phone.
So, I did some searching and found this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/s8-g950u-hardbrick-t3668572. I tried it and only get "expecting sahara_end_transfer but found 0". Tried on a Vista computer in test mode and the integrity checks disabled with the same results. Then tried grounding one on the data pins and it fails right away.
Then I also tried using QFIL on a Win 10 Desktop and only ever get Sahara Error.
The phone is model SM-950UZKALRA.
When plug in it is seen as a Qualcomm 9008 device. In the Device Manager, it only shows up in COMS and Ports.
Thanks for all the help in advance,
Fishinfiend
