After a long wait the oreo update has arrived to moto z2 play
The update size is around 1.1Gb
Its 8.0 and not 8.1 as of now!
I have added ss of the update

I've just downgrade from a rooted XT1524 with LL 6.0 to MM 5.1.1 (ROM FILE: XT1524_SURNIA_RETEU_5.1.1_LPI23.72-66_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip) and I've updated all of the apps (...)
After 1st reboot, Moto has downgraded some sensor firmwares and rebooted.
My bootolader is still unlocked.
I'm now waiting for the 6.0 OTA but it looks like it will never arrive.
Does anyone knows if the 5.1.1 RETEU is not eligible for OTA update?

LL 6.0 ? (6.0 is MM) and MM 5.1.1 (this is LP) A little confused... You've upgraded to MM, downgraded to LP and want OTA for MM ? Rather search for the latest Stock ROM for your carrier and install it, that should have the latest version..

Got the oreo update this morning at around 5am :good:
Available to download the rom via odin now.
Today I was installing some security updates for Android 7.1.1 that I didn't before, but when I thought the updates where done I received a notification for another; So I clicked on it and it showed that the Android 8 update was downloadable.
I installed it and everything is fine, Moto Z2 Play -01 variant.
Oreo has been out for months.
