I'm using AudioFX that comes with crDroid. It is very simple, nowhere near to Viper but sound is decent and I released that it's just what I needed.

Viper Audio

I'm getting the Verizon P3, so unlockable and probably unrootable.
Anyone manage to get Viper working?

I have it working as of tonight. Using the app from the 2.6.0.5 thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-viper4android-fx-2-6-0-0-t3774651
Install that APK, then install the driver inside the app. Optionally, if you want Viper to work in a larger amount of apps, install the Audio Modification Library module from the Magisk repo. This was needed for me to have it working in Spotify.

Did you have to unlock the bootloader before installing Viper?

I've always loved viper... I've been reading people have been saying there is an issue with the audio quality when listening to music with it sounding muffled and underwater, just wanted to know if viper corrects that issue.

AFAIK Viper has always required root, so I am guessing you will be out of luck until someone can figure out the bootloader unlock.
I posted the info to help others as well rather than creating a new thread.

I successfully installed viper using this method, but none of the settings actually improve the sound. To be clear, I don't think the regular pixel 3 sounds bad. It doesn't have as clear of high notes as the pixel 2 but the pixel 2 didn't have any presence of low notes either.
All I can do with viper so far is make the speakers louder at low volume settings, simulate reverb, which sounds terrible, or adjust the equalizer, which doesn't change anything. Any tips?

Are you using IRS files for the Convolver setting? That is where it's noticable the most for me. Headphone/Bluetooth quality improves drastically.

I personally like the Soundalive Clarity profile. It takes some tuning to notice a difference on the Pixel 3 speakers (much more noticable on the OG Pixel), but the headphone/bluetooth differences are night and day. That profile does increase the high note clarity on the speakers IMO.
As you mentioned, the Viper changes don't seem to affect the speakers in any meaningful way, so for now, I'll wait until our device is officially supported.
our device is fully supported, you have to use the irs files to really hear a difference. What cambunch was saying is that the file he used didn't make a drastic change, but that doesn't mean it's not working. The pixel 3 speakers are tuned pretty well out of the box, so results won't be super earth shattering. If you listen to bluetooth it can be really dramatic.

Care to share soundalive profile?
Can someone test something for me please? If you enable the Convolver and select an Impulse Response then play a video recorded on the phone is there a noticeable delay with the audio syncing with the video?

Its found in the link I included in my previous post. I suggest you check out that thread and see all the options available. But here is the link for just the SoundAlive IRS files: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2hud2wux...+-+Samsung+SoundAlive+((128k))+-+19042015.zip

Thank you for the explanation, but it's not just the irs files that I want to use. Viper has a long list of tweaks built into the app that simply don't have any effect on the Pixel 3 speakers. The Pixel 2's speakers could easily be adjusted using any number of effects built into the Viper app (equalizer, bass, treble, reverb, etc). When will those features be supported by the Pixel 3?

[app] audio fx tuner

Audio fx is popular android audio equilizer from cynogenmod to lineageos.
This app can be directly installed as normal apk but effects not working so i moved it as system app and its working.
https://youtu.be/AbZq_jSaPuo
Procedure :
Download app:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/14JMIBRtU6I66cIjadILBdcn5wZNxYEsR/view?usp=drivesdk
Miroot xplorer :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523691
Copy and paste it under root>system>apps
And change permissions to 644 reboot.
Set audiofx as default equilizer for google play music or any app u want.
Disable inbuilt oxygen os audio tuner.
Audio quality is best for earphones but speaker sound is weak.
Thanks for posting this, But is this the latest version available? And also which one is better? "Dolby Atmos" vs "Viper4Android" vs "Audio Fx"? Can some one please tell me.
You can also simply install "MaterialFX" from the Play Store. It's a Material Design fork of AudioFX. It works like a charm with GPM and Spotify on OOS

Viper is the most complete solution, with the most tunables. Very nice, sounds the best IMO. Never tried Dolby. AudioFX/MaterialFX are very simple, kinda minimal.

Question Screen recorder with no audio with Redmi Note 10.

Same situation. Try third party?
I tried third party App. No joy. All have the same problem. Unable to record internal or system sounds. Wondering if China ROM will work?
If what the internet is right and Google denies recording of internal system sounds. Note 10 is indeed missing Internal Audio Plugin. We will have to reflash with another ROM. Or... cos note 10 is new... Maybe an earlier ROM from Note 7. But again doing research on the internet. It's does says Android 11 beta have returned native screen recorder the ability to record again. So... I am perplexed. Comments and suggestions please ?
Currently, I am using my old Redmi Note 7 with MIUI 12.0.3 (QFGCNXM) Stable, Android 10 to do all my video audio recorder on Line and Zoom Apps.

Yes. I think that is a spendid idea. Thank you Orian.
Try to change the settings in Screen Recorder apps. If the sound problem is still, try to use headset/ headphone (plug 3,5mm audio jack) when you use the apps.
Rather than creating new thread, I would ask again here the similar question, although my question is a bit more specific, it's about video-call.
Hopefully someone with valid solution can help explain how.
If my question doesn't get answer here, perhaps I will create a new thread for my question, because my question is more specific and may be different than this thread's original topic.
-------
So;
My question is;
How can we,
–using this Redmi Note 10 & stock MIUI (for me it's version 12.5.4 and Magisk rooted now.. and also I installed ViperAudio, if that maybe influencing the result)–
ScreenRecording a video call
–and record both, the video and also the audio of the video-call session/conversation,
using any video-call app like WhatsApp, Duo, Viber, or etc?
Because everytime I try, it only can record the video, but cannot record the audio, especially the voice of person who talks to me.
Hoping for explanation.
Thank you in advance.
