Hi all,
Just got my new Redmi 4X with ROM 9.5.4 and I cannot receive MMS's when using a 3rd party messenger app. Using the default messenging app I can send and receive MMS but using a 3rd party app I can only send MMS's. No issues with SMS messages it is only receiving MMS.
I have tried several apps, Pulse, mySMS, Textra and others but all fail to receive MMS.
Any ideas appreciated.
And Yes, Always receive MMS is enabled.

So there is no one else having this issue? Input on what 3rd party messenging apps people are using that do receive MMS would be helpful.

I need to get a decent app that will allow me to send group sms messages to 70+ contacts at a time. Currently I'm using go sms pro to send them as it can use the groups i've imported via goggle contacts into the stock messaging app.
However some contacts aren't receiving my messages for some reason.
Anyone know of a good paid or free app that will allow me to get the job done properly?

Handcent, but I don't know if it goes as high as 70.
Does go sms pro only send a set amount of texts in one go? If this was the case then maybe that's why alot of my contacts don't get my messages???

Handcent and install the group sms plugin... I don't know why people hate on handcent so much.. The thing works amazing with many nice features

Hey guys, as most of you know, the stock messaging app doesn't automatically send group messages to multiple recipients as MMS, resulting in the same message being sent to everyone individually. From what I hear, this has been fixed in android 4.2 - allowing for threaded messages.
I know this has been talked about in multiple other forums, but is there a way to enable automatically sending group texts as MMS on our phone using the stock messages app? I think there are fixes for other phones but I haven't seen one for the HOX+. I know third party apps like Go SMS and handcent can do this but I was wondering if it'd be possible with the stock app.

is there anyway to receive a mms report ? cuz i like when i send a mms to friend, i want to confirm that he received it ......... i couldn't find any option to check ???? any ideas ???
i need it for mms only not for sms

i went there like 1000 times, there is nothing about mms report.... im on AT&T stock rom
all what i got in MMS settings either change the image size, mms group ......... and at the notifications settings if i check the send messages, will i get notified with sms and mms that are sent it....

option is present on AHRD. I had no idea At&T took it out.
maybe try Chomp SMS or some other 3rd party sms client.

Some 3rd party SMS apps perform delivery reports like Chomp SMS and iPhone messages emulator. I like both of the apps, chomp is free, iPhone message isn't.
Need help with finding a messaging app that works the way I want it to. I just recently updated my note 2 to 5.1. My old messenger App allowed me to send a text to multiple recipients without it being a group text. I find group texts to be highly annoying. I have tried about 20 apps on 5.1 and I have found that all of them but the verizon app make it so whenever you send a picture it automatically converts it into a group MMS messenger. On verizon you have to manually change it every time. So my question is if there is a way to send picture messages as solo texts to multiple recepients. Is their an app that will allow me to do that by default.
I have turned off settings such as send as MMS etc. The issue is picture messages are already MMS and therefore that setting does not affect it and it still sends as group.
Please help.
i typically want mine to send out as a group so never checked this on my current sms app.. but right now i'm using Textra. Has all the features I want and is very stable and reliable.
Anyone had any luck getting a 3rd party sms app to work on the Chinese variant?

would like some input on this as well. I've removed the stock sms app and made Google's sms app the default one. the only problem is these pop-ups get in the way when I send and receive messages, but it does work. Enabling the Disable Permission Monitoring setting in the developer options will get rid of the pop up when you send text messages but the Hint pop up will still be there when you receive messages. Others have said to sign in to Oppo ID to fix this but I am signed in and it still happens.
