I whould say that building/porting a rom is not the easiest of task especially when we have an exynos device such as this one
But still best of the wishes and i personally suggest that you talk to the initial Lineage developer his name is Firelord and take dome advice
If you need some one to test i have a free sm-n750 so i can report any bugs in the initial build:good:

@warrenlobo and @karthik km can help you contact them

Definitely. I'm so annoyed that other versions got all types of custom roms and updates. I really wish this OS is being designed mostly for N7502...

When will we get lineage is 15.1 for sm n750?
This rom is 64 bit or 32 bit ?

I can't boot even.
I am leaving my hope.

Sadly, its 7.0 -_- Reminder: Chinese version is already at 7.1.1. Why EU users are treated so badly ZTE?? ):
just take a look at the link. it's from channel designed for beta testers, it even says words nougat tester and has a date of 24.01.. so it's just the beta released as full to shut the "haters" on the internet.

Its probably Betatester and betatester lol

So far, it is rather smooth.
WhatsApp works fine (sending photos, changing status etc.) and overall I have the feeling that there is a slight increase in performance and speed.
No Daydream though as far as I can see.

Yes, but I would still love to have it running, it has the latest security patch. It's probably on the same level as the Chinese 7.1.1 release.
There are too many speculations. I think that the only difference between the models is the modem and a couple of bloatware apps. That's it.
That "beta" is literally taking longer because of EU regulations, the 7.0 release we are getting is from 24.01.2017!. It's ancient.
They probably took the B15, re-branded it as B01 or something and slapped their modem/apps onto the software.

I'm on it. Will post when its ready.
So far everything runs smooth. But if it is indeed the US' B15 version as a base I'll look at the performance again in a few hours.
Sadly there is no Daydream yet, so my Daydream View has to gather some more dust on my desk :S
On the other hand it could be a good sign that there is already some testing out on the 7.1.1.
Maybe we will get that update a little bit faster...

LineageOS 15 - any update?

Hey guys,
I'm bit curious, is there any update on the progress of LOS15 for our device? I've broken the screen and now I'm considering moving forward with a new device if there is no upcoming upgrade to Oreo.
I've checked Gerrit and there are no commits for kiwi under 15.0 branch.
As developer friendly as this phone is, it's being left alone. I have no doubt that it can run Oreo, but ROM makers have left it in the cold, for "newer" devices. I wish I had the ability to make a working ROM for it( instead of a "software" imitation on my pc).

How do you know? A while back there was a LOS15 rom compiled for kiwi. It didn't boot. But it shows someone was trying.
This means that kiwi will not be LOS15?
I'm not asking for ETA, I know it's hard to give an estimate since it's not full-time job, or job at all. But I'd just like the info if the device is abandoned or not.
KIWI is in LOS official device list. I think they promised oreo update to every official device in their list. Hopefully expect for O.
Meanwhile I found nothing exciting about Oreo and with Nougat everything works well enough for me.

To include me in that company is flattering, but also misleading. I'm only a beginner myself.
I'm working on it independently, and I don't anticipate much collaboration with the LOS guys. They seem to prefer doing their own thing. You can track my work (and submit PRs if you'd like to contribute!) at https://github.com/kiwi-o

Alright thanks for the clarification
I really would like to contribute to it but first of all I have to get some resources on how AOSP works and stuff like that and then I have to check for problems and issues I might be able to solve with my programming skills ^^
If you have anything that could help me, I'd be very grateful
Then just write me a PM
I hoped it will released very soon

Don't know, but don't ask that question, you'll get negative feedback here. Don't pay attention to any post that claim there's a LOS 15 for it(don't ask in their forum, they'll cuss you out). Devs are very ego- centric, and will say don't ask, or do it yourself. I don't really care too much anymore, and will replace this with a phone that can get Oreo(or pie), soon, as this seems to be a lost cause now.

[Fundraiser] Lineage OS development for Galaxy S10/+/e (Exynos)

MOD EDIT: Prepayment type fundraisers are not allowed on this site
Just donated, would love to see this rom!
Funding update, Since a lot of people in group have shown interest in paypal info instead of going thru funding site Ill provide info and ammount collected in this post
as of right now we are sitting at 500/550 euros
(Actually even closer as ill add my money and try to find cheapest available device (Going for s10 as it has all of the features that might show up to be messier to implement than on s10e))
Paypal you can use to donate is <Mod Removed>
If you donated and want a refund feel free to conact me in PM, This post will be updated few times per day to reflect new ammount collected
As a little background i worked on exynos devices since 2014 starting with note 2, As of right now I'm maintaining s7 and s8 series of devices, I am also a member of LineageOS so once everything works as expected it shouldnt take too long for device to recieve official builds.
if you have any questions feel free to ask me either here in telegram or via PM
Once moeny is collected donation links will be removed

Those bugs were probably due to the specific rom you were using, as HWC in aosp gsi is literally mandatory for google to certify the device. Its on the list of treble requirements even

it doesn't work, it didn't work properly since pie on s9 either sure it will show up as working in logs (dumpsys SurfaceFlinger) but anyone who tried using it will notice graphical glitches in transition animations, due to samsungs messed up implementation of dealing with fences in hwc2 (they treat it same way as hwc1 fences) but i guess some people would rather be stubborn than do some research, furthermore he should know big oems get exempt from some tests sometimes, take for example a fact previously samsung had completely different fingerprint enrolling percentage calculation so fingerprint couldn't be enrolled by default you either had to use custom hal (like we did at lineage) or hack up system like phh did

I've tried 3 gsis till now and i can confirm its not a rom specific bug.
And Samsung doesn't fully follow the rules set by google
I would really suggest you to try a gsi yourself if you're thinking it's something usable in its current state.

I'm currently working on it
Development may be slow because it's actually my daily driver and I only have a few hours a week to test things out
My current troubles are the way that the audio mixers work in MIUI 11 Beta, and I will not be testing it out on any custom roms, but be expecting an update from me once a few more Android 9 Pie mods come out and I have some base scratch to work with
EDIT: I will also look into the Type-C port audio, as I'm extremely disappointed with the clarity and lack of volume
There is du al speaker module for Mi 8 SE but its for old roms. I know and used it on China Beta miui_CEPHEUSGlobal_9.4.2_19357b30e9_9.0
Someone may adapt it for miui 11. I attached the file for anyone interested :good:

Sorry for the delay, but I got a Mi Note 10 Pro recently, so I can now test and continue development without worrying
The possible mod I'll be releasing will be a flashable zip, although the one mentioned above looks quite promising!! I'll look into it

Hmmm... It seems to be using the old mixer files from Android Oreo, I'll have to compare it to the new ones and figure out what's changed, but I might just skip Pie and build it for the Android Q Beta :>

Sorry for the delay, things are getting dirty over here in Iran, I've hadn't had time for this

Is there an update on this? I'm looking forward to this project.

Can you rearrange it for Android Q? I am waiting for this feature. Please do.

Bad news unfortunately, I tried multiple times with the stable Xiaomi.eu Android Q when it just came out. No luck... I've sold the phone since, even managed to mess up the Mi Note 10 and had to get a Nokia 9 Pureview. I'm really going down hill with these projects

No unfortunately, see above. But try directly contacting other developers to see if they're willing to try. Those who've worked on other recent snapdragon xiaomi phones are going to be your best bet. I was basically trying to go off some tutorials, had a Mi5 for reference, very little progress
