Just carefully read the instructions.

Phone in bootloop, KIW-L21

Hi guys, I wanted to install CM13, so I decided to unlock the bootloader, root and then try and flash. But that didn't go as expected, as I wanted to have my fingerprint sensor working, I had to upgrade from MM, but I had LP installed. Here's all I did, in order (remember it's a KIW-L21) :
-Unlock bootloader
-Install TWRP 3.21 and rooting using this guide
- Then I realized I couldn't upgrade from LP. So I tried to revert using the TWRP backup in this guide
- Then I did the official OTA update to B140
And now I'm in bootloop. Any ideas on what to do? Did I brick my phone ?
I can still access recovery, but it's the EMUI recovery, so all I can do is reboot, factory reset or wipe cache. Not much help from that.
Bump.
Okay so I got into fastboot mode. Any ideas on what I should do ? Put back TWRP ?
You need to flash the full stock ROM.

Thanks a bunch mooms, I had managed to find the Huawei Update Extractor to flash the images by searching for "bricked" or "bootloop" on this forum, but I was unsure of which stock ROM download.
Another question, is it okay to flash the stock B330 if I was on the B140 before ?
Flashing the full b330 should work.
If not, try to flash b130 or b140 first , then b330.

If it was on lollipop, it is best method to flash a Full Lollipop firmware package instead of Marshmallow.

huawei Mediapad T1 701u SP Flash Tool rom needed

My huawei Mediapad T1 701u is bricked. It is stocked at boot. I have tried to flash different update.app rom but unsuccesfull because it can't be turned into recovery mode. But I think and pray for it that it can be flashed through Sp flash tool. Since I have been searching for it I did found an Sp flash tool rom for my device to flash with it.
I read something about working with update.app to a flashable rom with SP Flash tool here: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54603809) but when I followed all the instructions, I still got stocked at step n. 12 since the -preparefile.exe is missing in the folder.
So Helpppppp..............
you found solution to this?

Desperate help needed to go back to stock (Mate 10 Pro EMUI 8 TWRP & MAGISK) BLA-L09
Hello there. I'm used to Samsung devices and the more I read about Huawei devices the more lost I feel about them.
So, my Mate 10 pro BLA-L09 is currently running Build Number 8.0.0.131(C782). It is rooted with Pretoriano's TWRP and Magisk (Using the All-In-One tool). Of course, I can't get any pending update installed. I would like to receive that EMUI 9 update. I've read people have been successful using HuRupdater and some others ended up with a hard bricked device. Some other people suggest the safest option is to uninstall Magisk, flash stock recovery and let the phone update itself.
So far, I've downloaded the same full 8.0.0.131(C782) firmware I'm on from Firmware Finder and downloaded Huawei Update extractor to extract the recovery from UPDATE.APP. However, instead of having one recovery file to extract, there are 3 Recoveries (named: RECOVERY_RAMDIS, RECOVERY_VBMETA, RECOVERY_VENDOR) and another 4 E-Recoveries.
Can anyone please give me some step by step guidance on what to do? I'll Paypal you a beer if I'm successful with the help.
Cheers!
May be you can simply dload the firmware and then it should be full stock if dload works. Dload guide is given in my signature

Thanks! But I think dload won't work with custom recovery, right? I'm on TWRP. And getting stock recovery is just what I'm trying to achieve.

Dload replaces your twrp and custom boot both. It will bring back your phone to full stock. Else you could extract the images from your firmware and then flash. Let me give you the commands.
Thanks! I just fixed my issue by flashing this through TWRP: it Installs the Oreo stock recovery.
The procedure was:
-Booted into TWRP
-Uninstalled Magisk (by flashing Magisk Uninstall Zip)
-Flashed the stock recovery (from the link below) through TWRP
-Reboot
-Check for system updates, phone will install them with no problems
Phone will be unrooted and will have stock recovery. Don't know if this will work for every stock build, it worked with mine 8.0.0.131(C782).

I was getting the command ready for you. Glad you fixed it yourself
[*]Run the command to boot to fastboot
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
[*]On fastboot screen, you will have bootloader state as Unlocked and FRP Unlocked.
[*]Flash the stock Recovery Ramdisk as
Code:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk <Recovery_File_Name>.img
[*]If you have installed magisk, flash the stock boot ramdisk.img as
Code:
fastboot flash ramdisk <ramdisk_File_Name>

Does dload method work with twrp / custom recovery? or should i use twrp!?

Just as the title says really, I want to downgrade so was wondering if dload method works with twrp.
Or would it just be easier to to use twrp once I have downloaded the rom to install it from sdcard.
Thanks in advance for any replys.

Dload method works with Stock Recovery only. Don't try downgrade to Oreo using Service ROM & dload method, it may brick you phone!
If you want downgrade to lower android version, use HiSuite, also you can use HuRupdater 0.4 Tool with TWRP. And use TWRP by"pretoriano80" (recommended).

Thanks a lot. Im stuck on a dodgy version of 9.1 ... ane-lgprs-ovs 9.1.0.132 and im getting no where with hisuite. All the downgrade guides here dont work with hisuite version 10 and I cannot for the life of me get version 9, which all the guides call for to work. I will check this HuRupdater tool.
