So the HTC U12+ just got announced yesterday and according to DXOMark it has been rated as the Best DUAL Camera phone in the world.
I checked the Camera specs on U12+ and the 7 Plus and surprisingly they are very similar:
U12+: 12 MP (f/1.8, 1.4µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 16 MP (f/2.6, 1.0µm)
7 Plus: 12 MP (f/1.8, 25mm, 1.4µm) + 13 MP (f/2.6, 1.0µm)
Do you think it would be possible to get a non-rooted mod for the camera from the U12+ (once it's released) for the 7 Plus?

And pretty much everything else out there - in both power usage and performance. The only announced chip that could match or exceed it is the Exynos 5250 which just launched in the new Samsung Google Chromebook.

S4 Pro= Asus Padfone2, Lg optimus G, LG Nexsus 4 and others.. Tegra 3+ only have Onex+. Now do you understand? in my opinion tegra3+ beter than s4 pro because it's have Nvidia
Because usually when a.product is.really good they won`t use it for something else because **** logic..

I don't think you're actually "porting" anything because porting requires having the device on hand to test what you port, I'm sure you don't have all of those devices.
Get real and stop posting about porting when all you are actually doing is theming ROMs to look like MM.

Hi, i want ask if someone can update the drivers of the camera to add the 4k rec, one of the 2 versions of xiaomi mi4c have the same sensor (samsung s5k3m2 ISOCELL) and LETV X500 too!! and it can record in 4k, so i think the problem of redmi note 2 are the drivers and libraries, some one can do a porting ?

Can be mixed the driver from the xiaomi's github with the kernel's source of other phone with the same soc (sony_30.0.A.1.35 and HTC E9a53mldtul-3.10.61-g5e0fd0f ) ?

OF course this phone can record 4k at 30FPS. Now on CM/AOSP u can go to 720p 120FPS. But Xiaomi blocked the power of this phone on MIUI. Without sources we cant do anything i think.

You will get that for sure if you have US, UK or Indian Variant.
Honor 4X which was released with Kitkat is now running on Marshmallow. So Honor 5X will get update for sure. But it might be little delayed.

Probably not, from what an honor rep said, it's likely not to.
On the bright side, it will get it by custom ROMs
Seems that Honor only have few devices in its portfolio to upgrade as some of the devices don'e support API for Nougat.
So they will test with Nougat. But if they face serious issues, it won't be made available to all.
Hoping so, that won;t happen.
