-you wont find the text below apps on homescreen on first boot(dont freak out) go to settings/home and turn on label named option and you are done
How to install:
1. Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache; System; Data; Cache in recovery
2. Flash the ROM
3.Flash mm vendor patch and front cam patch(link will be provided with the rom link)
4.Flash magisk if you want root and stuffs
5.reboot system
6. First boot may take 10 to 15 minutes
PS.: * Do not blame me for you to turn your device on a brick, do it for your own risk.
Guide updating your Mi Account for Miui Theme Design, necessary to import and apply themes (.mtz) out of the store.

Hello I have an problems related to mi account login during installation of mi, actually I have installed miui 8 in my g7102 and after some time have deleted the mi account which was logged into it and when I reinstalled miui 8 it says your device is associated with other mi account (which doesn't. Exists because I have completely deleted it)it happens every time and I have installed miui 8 many times it happens every time I have tried changing imei also but nothing happens

The project is MIUI-V7 ROM. This ROM not buid from source but I port from other device that is core 2. I use CM11 as Base ROM.
NOTE :
This MIUI7 ROM still have bug/issue. If you get bug, youre report is always will be appreciated BUT YOU MUST GIVE THE LOGCAT OF THE BUGS. So enjoy this project and Thank you very much for many people which always help me to fix many bug from this MIUI7 ROM. And for you are which use this project

First time installing Miui7 to your Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G360H), or coming from another ROM:
Install ClockworkMod Recovery (OR TWRP)
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Vol-up+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)*
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery (OR TWRP)
*NOTE: If you're running TWRP recovery, go to Settings >> "Use rm -rf instead of formatting" before wiping anything, else you have to wait 20 mins due to some weird bugs of our eMMC (maybe).

ROM Kernel: Linux 3.10.x

So you might not know. Me and my friends Booted MIUI 8 for Grand 2.
I had this device for quite a while and sadly noone bothers for it. So i supported Grand 2 developement.
The thing is CP is Speadtrum i think. If the same method can work for both Qualcomm and SpeadT then maybe we can work on a MIUI 8 next?

K i flashed the rom. Here's all i can say
1)The icons are kinda squareish. Not like the regular MIUI 7 icon. Dunno if its a bug or its supposed to be like that.
2)Themes icon is nowhere to be found. Won't open from settings either
3)There are 3 camera icons?. And also it had 2 dialers. Stock KK & MI dialer
4) won't connect to PC despite USB debugging is on
5) can't download anything from playstore. Tried 3 different Gapps Packages. Please give a link for the recommended one or if its a problem then look into it.
Rest seems fine to me. Sorry i can't provide no logcats i don't have access to PC right now. Hopefully you'll fix them soon. All the best

Sorry i can't help you much since i don't own the device. You should take Logcats and mention them in Miui Port Guide thread by STRYDER~007. There people can help you?

@mv2007 bro as far as i know the port rom itself is not a good option. I mean the port device i.e core 2's MIUI 7 itself is not quite stable. So no matter how good the port is. It will always have port rom bugs. So in my opinion port device option Either you should've ported from a device which has a stable version. Or better if you can try build from scratch. If you want we both can get along and work on it. I know how to build from patchrom. But reject fixing is the only thing that i can't do myself. Tell me your telegram or hangouts if you wish to work on patchrom together?

Littlebit of a back story time
So, As most of you know This rom was originally made for the N910C+ Devices (exynos) After many many requests i decided to finally get me A** to work and get it booted on N910F, it wasnt an easy task but thanks to my awesome helpers and testers
@vidmas @aaron74 @dragobert89 And some files from @anggara08 original nemesis port (build.prop and Some Libs, will be filtered out in next release) And finally @Ram121 For his kernel
Without them this wouldnt have been possible, mainly because i dont even have any snapdragon note 4 to use, this was all blindly done. Second of all, The support here would be quite limited from my side, only generic stuff and most importantly Any Visual additions will have to wait as i even dont have my N910C Anymore. Future updates will bring my refined Aroma, Propper Changelist and more RC mods etc. And ofcourse Support for more than N910F/G
TLDR ; There is alot more to improve and addon, and i will be doing so with the time i have, hopefully i get my N910C fixed, and get some real stuff going on here.

Let's see the feedback you're gonna get, but sooner or later I'll try it anyway! If it is nearly as good as the previous one it will have great success for sure.

I suggest to give it time to mature, there is alot of room for improvement still. Since this is NOT a proper release yet. more like a release to gather information.

Thanks, One of my buddies Aaron got an N910T , there is a line you need to add in build.prop
# QMI mux enabled for Fusion 4.0 (For APQ8084 model)
persist.rmnet.mux=enabled
This "Should" Fix the issue, But if not ill ask him to upload his own N910T fixes and such if he wants to.

You don't have to use the above kernel (Ram RC2). Just as long as you don't use RC5. Major problems with rc5 on our N910T.

the base is on shujaths cm13 which doesnt have backlight enabled by default
and its not a bug
and even if you think its a bug u can report it to Shujath a.k.a the base rom provider

for some issues porting on los gives loop for some security patches and the port rom was based on cm13 so i didnt acted like a nut and ported it on cm13

it varies device to device
The Xda and Xda labs apps also crash , calendar and wether apps icons seem bugged , plus the network connection icon in the statusbar that you mentioned in the OP
Rom seems pretty awesome except these "bugs" that I found

1. some apps icons are missing
2. Second sim some times crash
3. Bit laggy
4. Playservice crash
5. Additional audio settings not working.. forced close
6. Xposed doesn't work. stuck on boot
Overall this rom is cool..good for daily usage:victory::good:laugh:

And btw, can you tell me which device you've chosen to use its rom to port MIUI to grand 2? I mean port device .
during the first step in setup wizard , settings app keeps crashing so I can't finish the setup

I think they're supposed to have dynamic icons.
Choosing gestures in stocksettings crashes the settings app
Trying to change vibration intensity ( ie tapping the option and pressing Ok / reset ) crashes the settings app
Panorama crashes the camera app
Trying to change iso in the MIUI camera app crashes it
Comapss app crashes when opened

Process to pass safetynet in Magisk
As you guyz noticed all miui rom pass safetynet but after sometimes it fails.
Also you may noticed flashing any safetynet module will cause Magisk Not installed issue
Here is fix follow each steps carefully:- KEEP PATIENCE ITS TIME TAKING PROCESS
1- Flash magisk 16.0 or latest and reboot.
2- Again boot to recovery and flash safetynet patch included below.
3- Now Reboot and check. you will get Magisk not installed.
4- Don't worry leave it. Enable developer option and USB debugging from there.
5- After 2-3 reboot magisk will install with safetynet module automatically.
6- It will not break safety net untill you optimize or virus scan in miui security app.
Important Note If by mistake you optimize or virus scan in security app your safetynet, then what to do don't worry my friend if you followed above process then all you need to do is just go to magisk module section TOGGLE magisk module and reboot.
*TOGGLE- if module is enabled and safetynet failed just disable and reboot safetynet pass.
if module is disabled and safetynet failed just enable and reboot safety net will pass

Mobile- You can use Catlog application
pc- connect device to pc..
download minimal adb fastboot..
Install..
Now open cmd type.. adb logcat -d > logcat.txt
You will get logcat.txt in same folder where cmd showing

Help needed
I flashed this ROM after flashing stock MM via SP Flash Tool and in the process lost my IMEI numbers. Now it shows unknown in IMEI numbers. I tried a few methods after flashing stock ROM but they didnt work like from MTK engineering mode CDS Info method. Also the backup I made of nvram was lost after internal storage was wiped.
Can anyone suggest any working method to put IMEI numbers cause I still have them in the phone box.?

2- Flash Lineage OS Treble Build
3- Wipe data/dalvik cache/cache/system
4- Flash PR1 GSI as "system image". (Search on google how to do that if you doing this for first time)
5- Mount vendor and flash post POST-sGSI_1 ,POST-sGSI_2 , VoLTE ,Cam, FP and Lag Fix Final P zip
6- Mount Vendor again and flash POST-sGSI_3
7- Flash AceKernel
8- Flash magisk 16.7 Beta.
9- Reboot
Notes:
-VoLTE will not show any "HD capable" sign in status bar or "Enhanced 4G Support" in network settings , you have to call to test it.
-On first boot , Device will power off automatically and go to recovery, don't worry , just reboot again and it will be fine this time.
-After boot You have to install Google Play Services version 12.8.74 (apkmirror) to get rid of notifications after boot. Install it via adb or by downloading apk file on ur phone or PC.
Enable P style gestures:
If you see oreo style navbar by default , Go to settings > Sytem > Gestures > then turn ON "Swipe Up on Home Button"
Enabling MTP :
Go to Settings > Developer Options > Default USB Configuration > Select "File Transfer"
Bugs:
1- Flashlight option in QS tiles is grayed out sometime, just reboot one or two times to make it work.Flashlight in camera apps works all time.

It's already fully stable, we got every single thing working.
Maybe a bit tricky to install it, but if it's done correctly, everything work.

Yeah it is stable but there are some small problem if the source out it will be ****ing stable

First I would like to thank everyone who worked on this ROM and made it so fast possible for us to use it.
I got a few questions:
- I assume the ROM is stable enough to use it as a daily driver, but how stable is it compared to the lastest LOS ROMs?
- Will the install/update process be 'easier' when the official source comes out?
- Moto actions don't work in the settings, should I install the apk as alternative?
- Are opengapps required? If so, when do I need to flash it during the install process?

Just flash normal roms after wiping data/cache/dalvik cache/system . Nothing else to do

1- its in beta stage , not perfect and stable as lineage but can be used as daily driver.
2 - that option always crashes. You can not assign ur own gestures for fingerprint.
3- Thats a stupid question , maybe u didn't read the flashing procedure. (Gapps already included) . You need the files specified in first post, if u flash other things other than these , Do not complain that its not booting.

Nope.... Kcal not supported by rom itself and kernel as well. If kcal support added in future in kernel , you can do after that.
Awesome port and amazing work by all the developers.
After installing just give some time to cmplt the system update and then it works as as butter and everything is working as it should be.
Volte also works by default
Even after installing required google play services from playstore the google update notifications aren't disappearing from notification panel.

You can disable the pixel setup app .
If google play store notification are not disappearing , then force stop it once. If they still comes back , then do install the apps which google play store is suggesting to download through notification.
Planning on making another video now that we have a proper thread in dev section
