Recommend me new usb c charging cable? - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

hello, can someone recommend me a good usb c charging cable for my le max 2? The usb c cable that came with the phone doesnt work very well anymore, the rubber split from bending the cable too much. I want to buy a new cable but im not sure which is safe to use for this phone. I wanted to buy something cheap on ebay, but im worried that it will damage my phone if its not the right cable i need. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Heyyo, careful.. cheap cables might not have the proper resistor values which can damage any USB Type-C devices. I'd recommend against using any cheap Type-C cable.
Use one of these:

I have six of the Anker USB3.0 Type-A to Type-C cables and they're fantastic.

Never mind the reviews on all those cables are terrible.

Here is the ones I bought. The new 2 pack is a better deal anyways

G2 cable is fine. A USB cable is a USB cable. I use cables from my old Blackberry. I even use the USB wall adapters...the one with the wire still attached to the wall plug.
I am using about 4 different USB cables and they all work. Go monoprice.com is where I go for cables.

I second Monoprice. I buy all my cables there and I've never been let down.
Using cables from my Galaxy S4, since I bought some spares.
The cables need to be heavier gauge to carry current. That's all.
Plug in a cable, if it works it works, if it complains about not charging throw it away and find another cable. Stock cable isn't necessary for the phone to charge.

Anyone that had the G2 experienced first hand that a lot of aftermarket cables weren't compatible with the phones fast charging feature.
As someone with a G2 and a G3, the cable and charger that came with both were identical.
I actually just had an issue with an old USB cable where it's pretty much woren to crap and I picked up a generic one at Target and it works fine as well. 6ft no name one and it works great.

Sweet thanks!
I found a few oems on eBay. Some had charging block included. Others had oem block with 6 or 10 ft cable. Pretty tempting.
I don't think a ten footer would charge as fast though.

Extended charging cable

Hi
Sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't find answer anywhere.
I am looking to get a 3m cable to charge my Note3, the extension cables I have tried have varied in success, I have 1 that works well and is fast but the wife has claimed it and I can't find where I got it from.
I am happy to use the supplied plug, extension (e meters) and OEM cable or the supplied plug and a complete USB to USB 3.0 micro B cable (3meters). Does anyone know of a tried an tested 3 meter cable that offers a good charging time?
Also, does the USB 3 micro B cable charge faster than a standard USB to micro USB cable? I know the transfer rate is quicker just not sure if the charge/power rate is better?
Any help appreciated.

The charging rate is the same. The difference is in the carrying capacity of the cable (the cable rating). If the port you're using can output enough Amps to make charging faster (the stock wall charger is 2.1 Amp), you also need a good cable to go along. The cable that comes with the phone is able to sustain 2A charging rates. But if you're buying a 3rd party cable, check the Amp rating. USB 2 or 3 won't matter if the cable can only sustain 1A current flow. This purports to be able to carry 2.1 Amps... http://www.amazon.com/Hi-mobiler-Hi-Speed-Gold-Plated-Connectors-Smartphone/dp/B00TCBTFYK
Thanks for the response, the information is good to have. Unfortunately this item doesn't ship to Scotland but now I know what spec details I'm looking for.

I have 2 of these 3 meter Mediabridge USB 2.0 cables I really like. They're rated for at least 2.5 amps.
Sorry but I can't post links yet since I don't post often. Below is the info though.
Mediabridge USB 2.0 - Micro-USB to USB Cable (10 Feet) - High-Speed A Male to Micro B
Amazon ASIN: B00CTUIT20
Item model number: 30-004-10B
You might try this 10' 24/28GA USB cable from monoprice ($1.46) There's a 15' one, too, costs a whole 0.50 more.
The issue with long cables is that, if you use thin conductors, there's a voltage drop (resistance drops voltage), which can reduce charge speed or even put you out of USB spec. These cables use thicker conductors to carry current.
Don't let the prices fool you; monoprice cables are pretty decent.
Thanks for all the answers and advice. One of the cables was £90! The others don't deliver to Scotland

Thats about £86 more than I paid per cable.
I saw this one on Amazon UK for £5.99. In the customer Q & A section someone said it delivered a full 2 amps.
Item model number: AK-A7105011
ASIN: B00MM0M6SU
Like the look of them RylanM, thanks
They do a braided nylon option which would really suit my needs.
Poor reviews on the springs on the micro USB end though which surprises me with anker

I posted the following yesterday but it didn't seem to be here today....
I used an app called ' Galaxy charging current' to check the current being delivered. I found the following.
Always using the supplied OEM 3pin plug.
1. OEM cable only = 1200mA
2. 3m USB extension and OEM cable = 650mA
3. 3m braided USB to micro USB = 850mA
I'm going to test my wireless charger at work tomorrow.

I bought both the 3ft and 10ft red braided cables on the 29th of may, used them almost daily since (10ft for sure, 3ft I only use in the car so not as often) and I've got no issues with the retaining pins. In fact they're bloody stiff, they fit in my Nexus 7's loose USB port (dropped it with a cable plugged in, ruined the cable, loosened the USB port) as if there's no issue at all.
Also got the 6ft non-braided one for a mate (he doesn't have Prime) on the 29th of March and I haven't heard him complain about it at all. It may just be a bad batch with failing pins.
If you want any pics/info on the red braided cables feel free to ask.
Have you checked amazon? Compare prices to ebay

Best place for USB-C add-on reviews?

I'm a little nervous after blowing up one of my 2A USB chargers when I used it with the LG cable, that doesn't throttle the load it places on the charger, so now I'm looking for places to get reviews on things first
I've bought a few Qualcomm QuickCharge3.0 devices from Amazon, where apparently all cables and adapters are tested before shipping, but is are there any reviews on other USB-C add ones?
In particular, I'm interested in this USB adapter that gives you a USB3 socket, HDMI and another USB-C port, so you can add more devices / continue charging: HERE
It says "for Macbooks", but would the HDMI adapter work and still allow you to charge and add USB peripherals (e.g. an airmouse)... so you can turn your phone into a portable HTPC

Good USB C cables

Can anyone recommend some good USB C charging / sync cables please.
Could do with a multipack with some different lengths for home, car and desk.
Many thanks.
Anker make great cables, I would definitely recommend them, they're usually braided and sturdy.
sning, is Dash Charge important for you? Do you want cable with Dash Charge or normal ones will do fine?

It would be nice if they did, but it isn't a deal breaker if they don't
Even if they are USB 2.0, I don't think there are many alternatives that can beat AmazonBasics' quality/price. They are currently at 6.29€/90cm and 9.29€/270cm in Germany.
Although, looking carefully, seems that Anker has the same prices, at least for the black version..
I picked up a couple of Anker and Orzly cables, haven't gone wrong with them yet.
Can recommend Aukey cables. Bundles available at amazon. Dash charge not tested yet.
I try this one and it doesn't work with dash charger
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B018HUOPGE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Also original OP2 usb cable do not work with dash charger.
Been using this - http://www.amazon.in/Baseus-Macbook-Mobile-Output-Silver/dp/B016RNXFRS for my Nexus 6P for a year. Now using it for my Oneplus 5.
Just check AliExpress . You can buy official dash charger cables at a much lower price. 100cm and 150cm. The actual charger is a different story though.

How authentic/genuine are the dash chargers and cables from ali express? they look legit but I dont want to risk my device....prices are fantastic for the cables though
Not USB cable related - however I bought a Wireless charger and receiver for my OP3 (which I will be using on my OP5) Works an absolute treat! Not as fast as the DASH charge, however always nice just to plonk your phone on the wireless charger, and let it do it's job.

+1 for Anker.
Bought a good few and they all look pretty good.
Keep in mind that, most likely, DASH charge won't work with any cable other than the original ones.
Or, at least, that failed for me with all the ones I tried so far.
if you want dash charging, you'll need to buy the 'official' cables from OnePlus unfortunately, though you can get them from other sellers
There are a lot of decent priced supposedly dash capable cables on Amazon with prime shipping right now. I'd check those out and try first. Amazon has great customer service if by chance they don't work.
Anker has the best cables after the original but I would stick with the original because red is sweet
I personally recommend BlitzWolf's cables. I bought several of them at banggood.com 3 months ago and they are truly excellent! I bought the 2m cable, but they have other lengths as well. They all work flawlessly.
No DASH charge of course, but I do not care.
I got a pack of five from a company called rophie on amazon. All different lengths too, very useful actually!
Blitz wolf makes nice cables

USB cable for Mi 10 Pro - which one to choose?

Good day.
Could you recommend some proven charging cable?
Looking for a usb-c cable longer than the one included in the kit.
What to look for with such a cable?
What parameters are important?
Are there any proven brands (Ugreen, Blitzwolf, Baseus)?
I am interested in something longer - from 2 meters.
Thank you in advance for your help.

iirc you need one that is a USB 3.0 (or higher) cable in order to get turbo charging.
something like this should work, but i have not tried it
Anker Powerline USB 3.0 3m
I am using baseus cables and they are really good quality (turbocharging works fine) and 1/4 of price of this anker cable.
