Just do Factory reset which will wipe all data on your phone
Simple instructions

Before you do a factory reset, I would try to flash something like TWRP and then delete the keyguard files.
What kind of phone is it?

Sorry late reply
But what I would do in your situation is search around for TWRP for that device and a way to flash it.
Then I would use TWRP to browse the /system directory and delete the files associated with the key pattern.
Typically they'll be like:
Gatekeeper.password.key
gatekeeper.pattern.key
locksettings.db
locksettings.db-shm
locksettings.db-wal

Reflash whole firmware via adb: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/guide-restore-moto-e-2015-stock-firmware-t3044936
Pro tip: Never delete apps you don't know, just freeze em. :)

Reflashing your ROM should only be done as a last resort. You can hard brick your device if you don't do it right or use an incompatible ROM. I stress this with all Moto E surnia varients because not all ROMs are available yet. Trust me.
For force close issues, make sure you have a TWRP recovery installed. Boot into it.
Under Advanced, select Fix Permissions. Allow to fix, should take less than 20 seconds.
Reboot
Most of the time this will solve your problem.
Otherwise, you can always try to reinstall the system apps you think might have caused the issue.
If you're not rooted boot into stock recovery, wipe cache, and do a factory reset. Or you can try through the settings, but I don't know if that will work.

Help I can't install apps (Playstore/Apk)

Hello to anyone who opens this
Sorry for my bad english and thank you for reading.
I have this problem with my E44g / LG optimus L4 II
Thing is a friend gave me the phone almost new it had a kind of notification that had a little icon of the playstore
which said daily yoga or something like that. It got me annoyed, so i started deleting some weird apps on the
system/app/ path with root browser. I deleted a few, then do a factory reset to the phone and now i can't install any app from the file manager; It says:
App not installed
I've tried to install some different apps but it's always the same result

Also the playstore is not an option because
i can't stablish a reliable connection to the server.

It doesn't matter if i am on a wifi network or using phone data.
Knowing that i wish any of you pro guys could answer my questions and help me with my little problem:fingers-crossed:
1.- Is there a system app to install apps?
If so what's the name and can i rip it from another rom and just paste it on
system/app/ restart the phone and install any another app?
Would it matter if i take it from a L5 rom or an L3?
2.- Should i do a factory reset and try to log into Playstore and then install apps from there? (Factory reset was the solution to the log in problem before i think it should work now).
3.- Should i try to place any app that i want to install to the system/app/ folder and then do a factory reset.
I don't know what to do because i don't want to loose any external phone app and then be unavaibable to install it again.
Thanks for the help, this is my first post on xda so if there is something wrong just let me know

Info about Fingerprint reader

I'm new to the whole fingerprint reader thing on phones, but I have read that HTC and Samsung both had the data for fingerprints stored somewhere un-encrypted.
1. Does anybody know if the G5's fingerprints are encrypted or not?
2. If my phone is not encrypted (following the rooting, decryption, and twrp install method) is my fingerprint scan vulnerable(not encrypted, or accessible)?
Thank you,
David

What about if my phone is not encrypted? Is the fingerprint data not as well?
Sent from my LG-H850 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Hm, I'm not sure, my phone came encrypted from Verizon for whatever reason. Hopefully someone else can shed some light!
I'm still not totally sure what encrypting my phone does, though.

Well, all G5's by default come encrypted. I have rooted it and removed the encryption. Encrypting your phone protects your data. If you wish to read more about it here is a link.

Problems with Update

Hi,
the System Updater says that the "cm-marmite-b3b146b7b3-to-a1478a0ee9-signed" update is available. When I start to download, the updater seams not download the update. After a while it breaks off. Anyone a idea to solve this issue?
(Sorry for my bad English. I hope you cloud understand my problem)
Thank you!
Hello, Did you download by wifi or 4G?
Best regads.
I tried both and both had the same result - the download fails. I think the internet connection is not the problem. For eg I have no problems with downloading APPs from the PlayStore.

I don´t know where the system save the update, but maybe you have another update and the system cannot to write the older file. you can do the update with the file that offers our friend @bahjesaispas.
Best Regards.

The system store the update in 0 > Android > data > com.cyngn.fota
So I have tried to install the cm-marmite-a1478a0ee9-to-7aa1c7975e-signed in the recovery but this is the result:

still have or not? i can fix
On a completely different device a while back I ran into a similar issue, after much troubleshooting I found the reason to be "encryption". Once I removed encryption the issue was resolved.
Maybe check to see if this applies to you and your device.
