Use root Explorer end go to this line in :
version/special_cust/ANE-L21/hw/en/prop/local.prop
Write this and you have volte ?

No, it isn't by default. Check mine before and after patch local.prop
Option is availabe when VoLTE is implemented by SP. If it is not there, VoLTE is unavailable. You can force the setting but it won't work.

Mine don't have root.

This only works on rooted devices. Mine isn't

It is better u extract build.prop and flash it using any zip . Modification of build.prop by any noob will surely ruine the things

You should try with a Nougat ROM. I am using AOSCP and it has Google Assistant enabled from the beginning. You don't need to edit anything

sure you can, however you need to check what version of Honor 9 you have, European version is STF-L09C432, go to Settings - About phone - Build number

I have received the camera APK from the P30 Pro. Unfortunately it will not install on my Mate 10 Pro with 9.0.0243. Somehow logical that the 9.1 apps check for target OS version.
Does anyone have an idea how to install it, and would it work at all?

If your bootloader is locked, then there's no other way to install it. Post the APK here, maybe we can make it work on unlocked devices!

You meant on locked devices? The apk won't install, so i don't think you can get it working as it is.
The camera is working, no issue so far. The interface is a bit different and honestly i didn't spotted any improvement over the stock one.

It could be possible if you decompiled it and changed package name then recompiled (and remove any checks, it should only check for 9.0 as 9.1 is still Pie, but signature could be causing it). But decompiling Huawei apks is another story.

Basically i need two folders (and its contents) , product/app/HwCamera2 and product/app/HwAOD.
Off course, this require an unlocked P30 Pro.

Couldn't they be extracted from the update package using Huawei update extractor? I guess that'd still require root access come to think of it.

Ive installed the module through Magisk on my Mate 10 Pro runing EMUI9.0 and it works but the app is now called -4.0dip ?!?!?!?!?!?!
