MI Cloud. - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 / 5 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi
Does anyone know how to delete content from MI Cloud. I have a Redmond Note 5 AI (China) and I am at the limit of my free 5GB storage. As I am in the UK I cannot buy more storage as the Visa and MasterCard's are not supported by the Xiaomi site.

I dont know about the answer to your question and I am also pretty sure that your question can be answered in this forum as well but just for future reference if you ever need device specific help, the forums for your device is the Redmi Note 5 Pro forums as Redmi Note 5 AI is same as Remi Note 5 Pro. These forums are for the Remi 5 Plus which is Remi Note 5 in India.

phone model incorrect or have I been tricked?

hi all,
I bought (at least what I thought I did) xiaomi redmi note 4x and I just niticed that the phone info says xiaomi redmi note 4 and note xiaomi redmi note 4x... have I been tricked?
Thanks for the help..
Re
As long as you got the Snapdragon (Which is the Octa-core) you own what we would call the 4X, but better the MIDO.
Xiaomi is inconsistent in its naming scheme.

MIDO is the code name/production name of the Xiaomi Note 4 with snapdragon, NICKEL is the codename of the Xiaomi Note 4 with Mediatek Chip
Xiaomi released Redmi Note 4 in china with MTK. Then, because of legal problems they released Redmi Note 4 in India with SD. Since the global Redmi Note 4 was already MTK, they named the global SD variant Redmi Note 4X.
My model number is also written as Redmi Note 4. I bought it from Flipkart. I am not aware what is 4X! I just knew that Note 4 has two variants Mediatek and Snapdragon.

Xiaomi Redmi note 5 (China)

Hi everyone,
is there an seperat forum for China version? Because the Camera setup is different.
We need Indian and China Version separeted, dont we?
Thank you.
Nobody has an answer?
This forum is for the Redmi Note 5 (In India)/ 5 Plus with the codename Vince, both of which have a single camera setup. I assume you are talking about the Redmi Note 5 (International)/ Pro with the codename "Whyred" which has the dual camera setup. If you are talking about the latter, then head to the forums foe the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
How can we know which version we have?
My supposed to be China, how can I confirm?
Thanks

I would take that trade any day cause I don't game and only use the phone lightly, just browsing through the web and messaging. And, storing bunch of documents and reading them. Rarely use camera nowadays, just on special ocassions like festives or parties.
I don't think I have a single selfie on my phone .

I just bought RN10. Before I bought this, I was considering between 10 or (to wait) for the 11 to be out on the market and buy that, but in the end I decided to buy the 10.
Looking at the specs, for me RN10 is better. It's thinner, lighter, smaller, has OLED and has Snapdragon instead of Mediatek. And it is what available for my budget now. I predict the RN11 would be at higher price than my budget when it's out on the market.
YMMV tho

Whyred on Redmi Note 5?

Hi everyone,
I have a Redmi Note 5 and a number of months ago I installed CrDroid Whyred on it. It's working fine. However, I see that I should be using Vince...or should I?
Thanks.
P.S. Just to be clear, it's not a Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Oh...found my answer, I think:
Redmi Note 5 - Whyred or Vince?
