2 years ago I bought an 8" Tablet branded by an Iranian company named FARASSOO. Every hardware bit is "china made". The device was pretty good for my use. Here is general specifications:

Few days ago device started to malfunctioning and I chose an EASY! way and decided to perform a FACTORY RESET. The result was deplorable: essential apps were gone; no gallery, no file manager, no web browser, no camera etc.
Even there is no keyboard and if I try to open input and language section in settings it will say "Unfortunately setting has stopped".
I repeated factory reset and result was same. I thought solution might be a fresh ROM flash and googled for original ROM that lead no success.

Hello,
I have problems with my tablet Navon Platinum 7. It constantly freezes when playing music while doing something else, the ROM itself is very buggy. Also send to the service center, they said there is no problem.

I purchased this phone while in Thailand from an electronics vendor at an amazing price but the vendor didn't have much information on changes that could be made to the phone. I'm hoping someone here will be able to provide me with root and ROM changes that can be made to this phone without bricking. Here are the specs from Antutu:

I have the same device. I didn't know it was a clone, so I did a factory reset and now the device boot up only with android logo and it doesn't let me make calls any more. How do I restore the phone? please help. I was scammed by someone selling it as a real note 2.

Hello, I have bought a tablet and I have a major problem. When I put videos from my computer to its internal memomery or in external sd memory card the tablet itself plays only ONE from the videos that I input. I can't understand why. EXAMPLE: I will put 3 videos of the same file fomat , my tablet will play ONLY THE FIRST that I put inside, the other ones won't play it. Why is this happening? I'm so dissapointed with my android tablet, it doesn't make sense.
I use MXplayer pro and other video players and all players have the same problem, I have tried resetting my tablet and doing it again but same results. I'm desperate, It runs on Android 4.2.2

good day, im new here. and im new to my samsung galaxy note3 clone. i bought my phone with 32gb storage then the problem appears after i do a factory date reset. my internal storage says total space of 1.27gb and sd card 1.26gb but i didnt insert any micro sd card because my phone not mounting my micro sd card. i tried my micro sd card to other original samsung phone and its working properly. and when im check file manager it says "sd card available 15.87gb / total space 16.36gb
im not aware if my device is already rooted or not.

Your issue isn't a storage problem. Your issue is you got a clone which seldom has the specs it claims to. Most of them lie about the hardware that is included. The sdcard storage you are seeing is the way the storage is partitioned. Hell the ram is the bear min that the os needs to run and I bet upon further inspection I bet you will find that you really only have 256 mb of ram.
There is nothing you can do about it.

before i paid for it i actually saw that the total space is 15.xxgb and sd card is 15.xxgb and there is a lot of applications in it. that is why i did a factory data reset

Yeah it's something they do to hide the real storage. The best advise is to avoid clones. Mainly as they are not held to any laws that protect buyers.

as of this moment i tried to put some files on the sd card (downloaded from the internet). and when i ckheked the file manager it says still "sd card available 15.87gb / total space 16.36gb. same as there is no files in it. is there any way to really check my storage?????

That is gonna be really hard depending on how they did it. There are some apps on the PlayStore you can check out. I am not sure on the names but a search will lead you to good ones.

The Tab come without Play Service, and after I had installed it I've got Time Service and Monkey Test malware.
I tryed a factory reset but this did't fix the problem due to the malware become part of the system.
Can anybody of you, expert guys, suggest me the way to clean the system?
