So far there are posts about only the LX1/2/3 version. I just wanted to know if the same recoveries are applicable to the AL00 variant or not. I tried hard, but couldn't find any support for AL00 variant throughout xda.
Someone please confirm or guide.

You can try my TWRP, should work in AL00, if doesn't flash your stock recovery, and I'll check what can I do.
Did you manage to convert youtür AN00 to LX1?
How did you do it?
Works for ANE-AL00( the Indian version)

I believe you can if you unlock the bootloader. I saw someone already post the new fw, should be not a problem.

No they are physically different devices i highly doubt the US firmware will work unmodified on the Chinese varaint.

Is that also the case for the European version KIW-L21? should we keep the L24 and L21 really seperated or is the firmware interchangeable? I have already bootloader unlocked. Waiting for superb things to happen for the Honor

In case somebody in this thread is still interested, I managed to install LineageOS on a Honor 5X KIW-AL10 with the latest stock firmware KIW-AL10C92B437.
Follow the instructions on the LineageOS Wiki: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/kiwi/install. DO NOT REBOOT after flashing Lineage OS as you also must flash a zip that will fix the bootloop issue (see: https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BU...tViewMode=list). I used Fix_boot(422+).zip. Voilà!

Where did you get the 'phone from? I suspect that C576 might be specific to Israel, which would explain your inability to find it online. An even worse possibility is if it's a firmware build specific to your carrier - in which case you're at the mercy of your carrier as to when/if updates will become available.
My 'phone (which I got directly from China) has C636 (international) firmware.
If you're interested in "re-branding," have a look at FunkyHuawei's thread - that'll help you get to an international flavour of firmware which'll separate you from your reliance on your carrier.

I have to point out that I haven't performed anything mentioned in that thread, so can only speak from what I've read in that thread and elsewhere about the process.

Potentially, anything you do to the 'phone which involves a screwdriver or a USB cable can cause damage. I've done a lot of reading on the process and haven't seen any stories of irreversible catastrophes, but as with everything, it's up to you to decide whether you're comfortable with proceeding.
I'd suggest you have a read of at least the OP of that thread to get an idea of what's involved, then read through replies to see what sort of problems people have encountered and how they were resolved.

Only for Chinese Devices. Changing Region doesnt help you. If you are from Germany than your device will never get HarmonyOS or HarmonyOS 2

You have to unlock bootloader and install TWRP. If your device isn´t unlocked yet, i think there isn´t any chance to do so.

And then what's the procedure or guide to follow? Because I wasn't able to find any harmony img. I wanted to rebrand to Chinese version but I haven't found out how. I have already unlocked bootloader and have lineage currently running.

Have you had any progress? I was thinking about flashing the chinese firmware in order to try to update via OTA but I'm afraid it might cause any damage.

Im wondering if the global ROM RMX3301 is working also for the 512GB-CN Version of the GT2 Pro, because there is no 512GB Version for global market.
Even at tradingshenzhen i can't select a EU/global-ROM for the 512GB Version.
