{APP} {FONTS} Mod your fonts... - OnePlus 6 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hi everybody, OnePlus 6 users,
there is an app in playstore called "fonts fix", this app can backup your current roboto font and change this by the one you choose. There are many fonts in the application that can be flashed.
Enjoy..!
WARNING: you must be rooted

Awesome, I've used this app in the past and it was buggy as all hell. Caused me some major issues on my 3T. Hopefully stable on OP6.

Ifont is better. And you can also use midnightcore magisk module by old midnight to change fonts.

I tried midnight core. Didn't work for me. But might be that I wasn't using it right.

Font fix is not working correct, when you apply a font then everything crashes and black screen. When Hard reboot the font is applied and working after restart. Did test on op3 and op5t same issues.
Strange behavior.
Thanks anyway.

Which do you think is better? Does either break safetynet?
Edit: Can't get Midnightcore to work. It installs but doesn't seem to do anything. No way to open it.
Edit2: iFont works just fine, but you have to make sure you have Roboto selected in Settings>Font
Neither breaks safetynet.

Is there any way to change font without root day by using adb?

Ifont works great for me too

Midnightcore isn't a standalone app you have to use terminal to interface with it. I use ifont and midnight together so I can get a thorough font change.

if you want to use apps like Ifont or others then yes you need root. If you don't want root you could just use the flashable zips.

You are confusing a custom recovery with root.
Both will need an unlocked bootloader, but a custom recovery to flash stuff doesn't need root.

I have an unlocked bootloader, but I don't want to root. Can you tell me after I flash the zip, how do I change the font in Settings?

Why dont you change the title to {ROOT} {FONTS} Mod your fonts...

[Q] Themes?

Is there anyway to use different themes on the stock OxygenOS without root?
No. OxygenOS doesn't have any theme engine like CyanogenMod.
You only can install icon packs, but it seems that the stock launcher is buggy when using custom icons because it does add some weird black outline to some icons... I'm using Unicon app to fix that.

What about the CM C-Apps? Did you try using that? I'm hesitant to try something since the phone belongs to my mother.
How about layer manager with root? Jw and as far a themes without too ur best bet is custom launcher but that won't theme apps like cm theme manager or layer

Yeap. I'm using the equalizer app and the gallery from that package and both works fine ...I'm also using the music app extracted from CM ROM (it is not available in c-apps package).
Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/general/app-cyanogen-audiofx-gallery-t3252865
You can extract the apps from the package and install them as normal apps(they should work as normal apps too).

Layers support

Did anyone try layers on stock o2os?
And if, does it work fine?
Yes, Oxygen OS does support layers. I just found this out as well. There are a few themes that need to update/fix, like the 3 dot menu area in the dailer. Other than that everything works well.

How did you get past the bootloop of you don't mind me asking?? If you restored a backup, then good for you.

There's a much easier way you guys can recover from bootloop due to a bad layer. Just boot into recovery, then select twrp file manager, and delete the bad layer from system>vendor>overlay folder. If you have many layers and are not sure which one of them is bad, just delete the whole folder, that will just delete all the applied layers.
I tried many of the free layers available on play store. Almost all of them were working on my device, except Art, iirc. Which was disappointing since I read on the OP forums it was working fine for most people
However, most of the layers did actually miss a few settings icons from getting themed.
Another interesting thing I noticed - dark colored themes work best if you set dark mode on in OOS, and bright themes with dark mode off. I had fewer bootloops that way, don't really know exactly why it happens.
Anyhoo, here's some of the themes that I liked and are working perfectly fine on my device:
-Navigate
-Pastelz Light
-Simpl
-Zed
I'm currently rocking Zed, looks great :good:
Can some one post ss?

i've tested a lot of layer theme. one common issue, if you install the framework overlay you will get bootloop when you reboot your phone. another bug, if you press the power button lil bit longer, it will soft reboot instead showing the advance reboot option. you can try install any theme but leave the framework first. try to contact the dev, or provide them with framework-res.apk so they can update the framework for oneplus x. hope this help you guys

You don't have to unistall the xposed framework, you can solve this by going into /system using a file manager and you must search for "xposed". You'll see many files and archives, so what you have to do is to rename all of them with a " . " before the name of the file. This will hide the files. When done, you can login your snapchat. Don't forget to remove the dots when you have finished or you won't be able to use xposed
this what worked for me good luck!

Stop Apps Detecting Root?

Hi Everyone,
Alot more apps seem to be detecting root nowadays, and after Googling solutions I can't seem to find anything that works anymore.
I used to just deny the app in SuperSU but this doesn't seem to work anymore with the Sky Q app and Android Pay.
Im currently using Pixel.
Does anyone have any apps or methods?

[A2017G][TWRP-ZIP]iYTB ADFree Black Themed

Hi,
Thought i make a flashable zip for our device based on @ZaneZam 's iYTB to get YouTube without those ANNOYING ADDS....
Latest time it became tooooooo much, even minute after minute.....!
Therefore this zip.
LINK : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579484937
LINK update based on 20.12.2017 (v12.49.55) : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=890129502657578397
LINK update based on 17.05.2018 (v13.18.54) : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=674106145207489463
LINK update based on 10.06.2018 (v13.22.54) : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746163614322270159
It's the BLACK THEMED version.
Procedure :
1. Put on extSD
2. wipe cache/dalvik
3. Flash
4. reboot (if it does not show up on first boot, REBOOT again)
5. in playstore/settings : check "no auto update" , otherwise you'll end up as before !
This zip should work when your youtube is in system/app or data/app. Both will be wiped and replaced with the new one.
Report when zip isn't working anymore. Therefore i should update the zip with the latest version.
ALL CREDITS : @ZaneZam and all others !!!!THNX!!!:good::good::good:
ENJOY !
don't just HIT&RUN....there's a :good: button for some reason
ps : this should normally work for ALL VERSIONS
What is the difference to ZaneZam ???
The original one works perfect ???
Glad to see this. I've tried the original installer with the black YT but it always failed (using the place in download directory method). Installation of the non-themed version worked fine. Could've just renamed the black version to match but didn't feel like it.

No issues my friend, relax
It's just a twrp zip for our flashaholic-souls :cyclops:
And it's a bit less handling than the universal installer or the manual method...you don't have to rename, set permissions, or whatever you have to do in the OP from iYTB. My method : just download and flash and you know it'll be ok !
I just molded it a bit for the A7 that's all :good:

IYTB (vanced magisk?) on Oreo rom is able to have a floating window on top of other apps you use ate the same time, and it got a new minimize style.Only the floating window feature is a big ++ for me.I prefer IYTB as system app,and not a magisk module.
