TWRP for treble builds
Treble magisk

Be careful and do not forget a full backup before,
In my case it didn't work after dozens of try now Google services are fully bugged. I am considering to step back in Oreo Rom without Treble architecture much easier to install Magisk

Install from recovery

Hi guys.
In what order do I have to install these items from twrp recovery?
- Rom
- Gapps
- Zip magisk
- Custom kernel
- Titanium Zip (To install titanium backuo from recovery)
?
ROM kernel magisk
Other apps don't interfer with each other so you don't have to care about the order.
Your order is almost fine. Just install magisk after the kernel, not before, since Magisk patches the installed kernel. In the same way, if you install another kernel in the future, you should lash Magisk again.

In the magisk installation instructions, however, topjohnwu says to install the custom kernel after installing magisk.

Heyyo, every ROM has a kernel included so it's very optional to flash a custom kernel. Even so, some custom kernels require a certain ramdisk to work properly.
For example, using BS Kernel 3 series on LineageOS 14.1 won't work properly.

Hey man,
do you know if xposed is working on the stock rom? My model G965F s9+ duos with root (magisk) and TWRP.
I ended up in a bootloop
Is there any custom rom which has all of samsungs features and more. I don't wanna loose the camera features.
Strange.

That is strange I had everything on stock rom for a while and then went over to Havoc OS.
1. TWRP
2. Install root.
3. Install xposed zip. !!NB Make sure to flash the zip for your device AND OS version.
4. IF that failes, flash root zip over xposed.
Xposed works with gravity box.
My steps of making it work:
TWRP
Magisk Root
Flash Soldier Rom
Flash AGFK KERNEL
re flash Magisk
From magisk modules load xposed SDK 26, install apk sugested from menu, then reboot and activate module.
Now you have a systemless working xposed.

using GCAM in LineageOS

Hello,
I was wondering if one needs to install Google services such as MicroG in order to use GCAM? I don't really want to install MicroG unless necessary. As far as I know I would need to install MicroG on a fresh LineageOS ROM and it wouldn't be possible afterwards.

I'm in stock rom rn but planned to flash custom rom later because i just apply to unlock the bootloader 6 days ago , probably 3 hours from now I'll use custom rom, i think gcam has nothing to do with MicroG or any google play services , so you don't have to worry about it
i just installed a custom gsi rom and i can confirm that it support gcam , just need to find the right one , i use pixelcam v1 and it works just fine

Thanks for the test. Though GSI ROM says "with gapps included"
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-9-pro/development/gsi-t4105121
I'll try later.

Use gapps systemless....

Yes you can do it.Many people flash opengapps via recovery. But is painfull to uninstall. So be smart use gapps systemless as a magisk mudle. That's mean you can uninstall it any time. The size of zip is only 60 mb.Go to the below link and download the magisk version zip
https://sourceforge.net/projects/litegapps/files/litegapps++/
Flash the zip via magisk manager.reboot...
Boom..now you can use play store .....
This method is very helpful for whom they use only play store on linage or other custom ROM without gapps...
If it help you then don't forgate to thanks me..it is free....
may i know what ROM and recovery you are using right now?

Unrooted recovery

I have been looking around in this forum for a bit and trying to get a custom recovery, but the problem is, magisk is really unstable on my device, so if you have a way to remove magisk on an AP file, I would like to know. Thanks in advance.
