HELP! Galaxy S6 Edge stuck trying to open Recovery Mode. - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried to root my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, installed TWRP & tried to install SuperSU 2.79 and it got stuck on creating image, so I rebooted my phone and it didn't boot.
At this point i could only access TWRP and Donwload mode, I got worried and decided to flash stock recovery via ODIN but I think i forgot to uncheck auto-reboot box (Don't know if this step could cause the problem but I think they are related), and I know it's trying to open recovery mode because when I flash TWRP again, some red letters appear on the top-left corner of the screen, same as when I opened TWRP custom recovery, so at the moment I can only open Download mode.
The things I've tried:
ADB reboot recovery: It won't recognise the device anymore
Flash Stock Firmware/Recovery: After sboot.bin it fails (I have the Firmware for my specific model and region)
Also, I'm new to the forums stuff so forgive me if I do something wrong
I hope someone could help me,as I've searched all over the internet and found close to nothing about this thread

Flash stock firmware it will work.
The reason it fails at sboot.bin is because your flashing a firmware with an older bootloader than you currently have.
Flash a newer/newest firmware and it will work.

Needs to be a newer firmware with a newer BL. Your still trying to downgrade BL.

When I last checked my Android versión was 7.0 and I think that was the last update the galaxy s6 had, but if you can tell me where can I get a newer firmware that would be great, also thanks for the help you have given me until now.

No boot logo, no download mode screen

Hello,
i have a galaxy mega I9205 LTE, three weeks ago i have flashed the original 4.4 KK update from samfirmware, and from that moment i have no more boot logo (the one with the "Galaxy mega" words), and download mode screen. I have done a full wipe (clean cache, wipe data, and kalvin wipe) from CMW and original recovery, tried with CM11 rom, and other 4.4 roms (can't downgrade to 4.2.2 ), nothing, my boot logo don't come out.
I think the fault is the bootloader, but i don't know if it can be restore or something like that.
How can i fix the problem?
Up
Tried another time, wipes on cwm recovery, flash with odin 3.09, no logos. Damn
UP
Did you flash the i9200 KK ROM or the i9205 LTE ROM for the phone?

Obivously 9205 lte like my phone.
UP!
Same problem : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-mega/help/enter-odin-download-mode-stock-4-4-2-t2811866
Cmon! Up!
try to use a different odin version, like 1.85.
and/or try another firmware.
i know there are at least 2 versions out there on sammobile, ne4 and nf2.
Flashing I9200XXUDNF3 from sammobile with odin 3.09 didnt slove the problem. Should i try with odin 3.04?? (My phone is GT-I9200)
Yeah. I tried to update to Kitkat and have flashed with almost every version of odin and the results were all the same.
However, I didn't encounter problems like you did.
Only the system (rom), recovery, boot (kernel) were flashed, and the modem (radio) and bootloader weren't registered into the phone.
And since my bootloader was still the old one (Knox-free), I was able to downgrade and did OTA update.
So now, for your situation, I can only think of trying to update with Kies.
DO NOT AND NEVER try what I did since you don't have download mode to confirm whether you have the new Knox bootloader, so you might end up BRICKED.
Again. Try to update with Kies. DO NOT downgrade by odin flash old firmwares (4.2.2).
And if Kies works out for you, let the other member (who's having same problem) know.

:good:
This is the #1 thing I am seeing members doing, attempting to downgrade from KK 4.4.2 Kitkat. It's becoming a trend so to speak. Although I will say it is sometimes a hardware error/issue, not many are reading before installing/attempting to downgrade.......
To the others.......
Once there, there is no going back. Yes you can flash Custom Roms all you want as long as you do not attempt to successfully downgrade the KitKat Knox Bootloader and pass. The OTA even tells you so and this is on any Galaxy phone you buy, not just the Mega.
If you can get into Recovery, then recover one of your backups, only if you didn't update to the Official KitKat 4.4 with the Updated Knox Bootloader either thru OTA or Odin
If you can still get into download mode then you are somewhat okay and there is still some hope. You can try flashing the Official Firmware to recover. Only flash ( pre KitKat 4.4 ) Official Firmwares thru Odin if you didn't already update to the Official KitKat 4.4 with the Updated Knox Bootloader either thru OTA or Odin.
If you can not get into Download Mode and the phone does not boot up or plugging in the phone to the computer with no battery installed you get the qhsusb_dload mode, then the possibility that you are likely bricked is good.
From here you either send it for JTag or see if someone with the same Phone and Carrier can make you a debrick image for you to burn to a memory card so your phone can be able to boot off it into Download Mode and Odin the Official Firmware. You will need to search for this method.

Just verify you enter download mode.
Turn off your phon( after phone vibrate)
Press vol down+home+power, hold together until phone vibrate and wait about 2sec and then release all button
To verify you enter download mode, please wait about 3minutes if phone not boot to os, you are just one step to download mode, just press and relese volume up to enter download mode
Then connect your phone to pc with odin run in administrator privileges, if odin detect your phone youre ready for rumble LOL

Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925I Update Failed

Hi!
Phone finds the update, downloads the 600+ mb then restarts for installation then the Update Failed thingy comes up. And after this, while searching for updates it says " You have the latest version". Went to recovery more, reset the phone, then the same thing happens.
Any suggestions?
Or do I just download the 5.1.1 firmware and flash it with Odin?
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. I guess that's the only alternative before I root. But there's this message in recovery mode "dm-verity verification failed....Need to check DRK first"
No idea what this is, have googled and it is not related to the problems shown on the web. Phone is not rooted, still official firmware.
So, is it safe to flash the latest firmware through Odin or will it brick my phone?

S6 edge g925i stuck on boot

Have searched through the posts but could not find a solution.
Flashed 5.1.1 stock firmware via odin couple of times. Even changed Odin from version 3.10.6 to 3.10.7. Still stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge powered by android screen. Have tried the recovery mode reset and wipe cache but to no avail.
Flashing via Odin was successful, then it reboots and the blue screen comes on "Erasing....." I don't think the Erasing thing gets completed and it reboots to the boot screen and stays there.
At the moment downloading the 5.0.2 firmware. Any help would be appreciated.
Seems downgrading is not a possibility. Have flashed the 5.1.1 firmware. Still stuck at boot. The reboot after flashing shows the blue scree and a task bar slowly filling up, then the "Erasing..." part starts and reboots and stays at the Galaxy S6 edge screen. Seems the Reactivation is on, and there's a "dm-verity verification failed...." on the bottom of the recovery.
Could be a corrupted download. Try downloading the 5.1.1 firmware again.

on the same boat.
its just my 3 rd day got the phone.
let me know if you have any luck.
bought the phone this Wednesday from JB HIFI, Sydney, Australia, 64GB, on the first day i update the phone to the latest stock rom 5.1.1 which is LMY47X.G925IDVU2DOI2.
Firstly, i installed TWRP and rooted the s6 successfully using TWRP Recovery 2.8.7.1 and Root for G925F Android 5.1.1 (unofficial).
Then I was trying to install custom rom. but i format the data in TWRP without backup anything, like efs.
1.Flashed the stock rom (G925IDVU2DOI2_G925IXSA2DOI2_XSA.zip) from sammobile.com odin with no errors. (I downloaded twice from different sources)
after, reboot. it shows cant find /cache and /system.
It shows dm-verity verification failed.
and then shows the stock recovery mode
then i use odin and flashed the TWRP from the above post, and it shows internal storage 0MB.
Checked Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge PAC Firmware/PIT File Collection
The pac and pit file is not released yet.
Adb & Fastboot not working, it cant detect the device.
Smart switch didnt work, shows unsupported device.
is it the partition messed up?

Canadian S6 Edge soft brick PLS HELP, very detailed explanation of what I've done

I started the night by downloading a rooted kernel for the phone and installed that using ODIN. All good.
Next I installed a TWRP recovery image using the flashify application from the app store. That works and were still good.
Then I had to flash a "modem" and "bootloader" for marshmallow (note I do not really understand what these were for, i was trying to follow a guide).
This is where it went screwy, after flashing these 2 files for my specific device through ODIN, it would not boot.
Im not sure but likely to make things worse, I attempted flashing a new TWRP recovery version because i belived it would work with the modem and bootloader.
Ive now tried flashing the stock firmware using ODIN but i get a FAIL message. Please please help, i only just got the phone and i feel hopeless.

Finding device info

Hi i was wondering if there is a way i would be able to find out information about my device such as the bootloader id so i can find the correct stock rom for my boot looped samsung s6 edge. Is there a way to view crash/bug reports i have sent to google play previously as they normally hold that type of info

No it's a G925F.
1.Yes i used odin to try and flash stock rom but it failed.
2. No
3. Yes i used the latest and a few other versions that people said worked best but had no luck with any 9f them
Can flashing your phone take up more storage on your device because i have tried around 3 different roms and know i didn't have much storage left so could this be why odin will no longer flash?
