Hi, 1st of all I'm not a developer and not a camera expert. Now that has been cleared off. Here is my story. I was dissapointed at the huawei mate 10 pro camera, so after rooting the phone. I have been busy looking and searching for the tweak or setting that can be change in root level. Here what i have found while going in to the root system of the phone.
One of the picture show all the setting or folder for the camera on mate 10. The second one show that the xml files is editable. Here it tell about face detection or the sensitivity of face detection. I just want to know is this find significant for making this phone better and help with modding, or someone else already know about this and find this insignificant?
BTW : i find this in vendor/etc/camera
You should do "generic" searches on that topic in other Huawei subforums (from other phones and outside XDA). Surely you are luckier than asking directly here, you can see for yourself that the scene in the Mate 10 is very scarce.

Hello, I'm using a Mate 10 Pro single SIM BLA-L09 C432 currently on EMUI.
Back when I had Oreo I used Settings Database Editor to enable the 4G Only option. Now that I have EMUI 9 I no longer have this option despite my SetEdit values being unchanged from what they were before.
Is there another way to enable it? I really do benefit from this option so it'd be tremendously helpful if anyone would know how.

Hello guys,
Few days ago my NFC of my mate 20 PRO just stop working. Before the problem everything was fine, just 1-2 secs on a card reader and transaction is done (Am using my bank application to mobile payments). Now seems that NFC randomly somehow died. Terminal and application just dont react somehow...Can it be related to the newest 9.1.0.311-20 firmware? I dont know exactly when this update was installed into my phone (do you know where i can check update history?). ...Do you know any troubleshooting tools or a log where i can find something about NFC and why is it not working or any recommendations regarding to this? NFC also does not charge any more.
You may want to post in the P20 pro forum, not the Mate 20 pro one - better luck to find an answer.

I'm thinking of buying the mi 10 and I wanted to understand the photographic quality of this device. (in particular I am undecided with the p30 pro and samsung s20 FE 5g)
I have read conflicting opinions on the camera of this smartphone.
Questions:
1) has the stock camera improved a lot over time?
2) does the gcam improve the final result a lot compared to the stock application?
3) can I use the gcam and the xml files of the mi note 10 also on the mi 10, if I only use the main camera?
4) alternatively where can I find the latest versions of the gcam and the relative xml files?

1. Camera is good but hasn't really changed
2. Yes it's a lot better but no 108mp yet. Think it's around 27mp or something like that
3. Yes but there's XML for mi 10 so bit pointless using note 10 XML
4. Install telegram and search for Mi/note 10 series - Google camera then you'll get mi 10 APK and loads of XMLs
