Same as RR and all other Oreo ROMs, but @fisnevis ( you are Finlay, right?) said all the photos you take are always in landscape, but I think apps like Footej Camera can fix that

Yeah am Finlay finsnevis is google name. The camera takes in landscape but if you open gallery after photo is taken you can rotate it left or right and it saves it as portrait no problem so no need for other camera unless you don't want to edit it in gallery. The only other bug is when running games and only games the hard volume buttons are reversed up button is volume down and down button volume up but only with gaming is ok with music and video.Apart from that really superb rom.

Small volume of sound. Can I increase it?

I installed viper4 android through magisk that will let you adjust both headphone and speaker sound and bluetooth if you need it.Yes sound just a little low.I like it loud.

i'm stuck at bootloop, I followed the instructions to do a clean install (except nandroid backup). But when I install it without gapps it boots perfectly, then i try to reboot in recovery and install gapps, it boots but google play services don't stop crashing, I don't understand..

It should boot you need to install gapps at the same time as the rom.Just do 4 wipes dalvike data system and cache.Install the rom and then install gapps I used nano then reboot.Don't install apps after rom has booted.Install both at same time. Some of these roms require gapps to be flashed at same time as rom because it is part of the startup process when rom boots for first time.

It seems to be a problem with Aroma Gapps, pico works fine for me.

Yeah aroma gapps can be very fussy with some roms.Nano is the best with these type of roms because the launcher supports the google feeds by swiping right. It's easy to add other apps through the play store or apk mirror.Pico is fine if you don't use google feed and voice Aroma solves all this but no good if it crashes the apps or cannot launch them.:good:

@JakoDel
thanks for rom. it's great
After a few hours of testing on j510f (clean flash)
I encountered the following bugs:
1.back key on navbar key enable, sometimes it does not work and instead of doing the back action
show the action of recent apps.
2.Sometimes after opening the settings menu, settings gives force close.
3.Sometimes after the reboot, signal actived for operator antenna is too late, and even sometimes for activation requires to reboot phone.

I use MicroG instead of gapps. Battery life prolongs.

Isn't the system usage is abnormal? I installed this rom two days ago and the system usage is increasing regularly. screenshot attachted.

pretty awesome :good:
Reboots when restoring. Turn on toggle switch - reboot, Turn on the camera - reboot, etc. Reboots under heavy load, for example if you open 2 applications
Why not use contacts, a message from Google itself?

After recovery and getting root with the "magisk manager". Got better. I replaced several applications: (Gaaps pico) +
Gallery (del) > Google Photo
SMS\MMS (del) > Google Messaging
Contacts (del) > Google Contacts
Dialer (del) > Google Dialer (Set as default)
Camera (del) > Google Camera (v4.2)
Google (Works with the system's this launcher). google play > search com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox
The system programs that I replaced with Google, deleted with Titanium Backup
Now there is no reboot
I have tryed to flash this rom on my Nexus 5 two times, but the first time flashing the rom, pico gapps and magisk it boots and since first steps it reboots a lot of times...I can't try to test the rom because it isn't possible to arrive to pixel launcher pages...I hope this problem could be solved. I want to try this rom.
The second time I flashed this rom I have only flashed the rom and pico gapps, but I had bootloop for about 30 minutes...
Is flashing magisk a problem in this build?
I can't see magisk option anywhere after flashing
Also.....I had about 4-5 random reboots after flashing rom

First make a clean installation and configure the phone. After the final setup, install the application "Magisk manager" and click download Magisk-v16.zip. Reboot in the recovery mode and install "Magisk-v16.zip"

In the settings of the phone, there should be the inscription "Complete settings" on top, after that start "Magisk manager"
First: thx for the ROM
Second: I am unable to find my Wifi-Hotspot with this ROM (actually with every AOSP Oreo ROM). Wifi Menu shows me all available networks as it should but seems to omit mine.
I once had similar behaviour with some Nougat ROMs. This was usually resolved by changing the Wifi Country Code to either Germany or Europe. Since Oreo there is no such option in Wifi settings.
Hoping someone might've run into the same problem, so far I have not been able to find anything. This also happens on a Moto G4 Play with Oreo.
Router is a AVM FRITZ!Box 6490 Cable. Does not matter whether 2,4 GHz or 5 GHz since neither is found. Trying to connect via WPS naturally fails as well. Entering the SSID manually fails as well.
I don't flash any GAPPS or similar, just the ROM and F-Droid (which just puts the f-droid apk into /system/app)
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Very beautiful build, after a couple hours testing I would say it's pretty close to daily driver material.
WiFi Hotspot isn't working properly. It creates a network but no data can pass through. Any ideas on a fix?
Thank you for your time and your work.

I do not know much about people working on this device by name thanks to all developers working on Exynos7420 and the LineageOS trees and enesuzun for help here and there and the trees on his github

So what I did: in recovery wipe, installed the rom, reboot, after the boot animation autoreboot, on second autoreboot I pressed the buttons to go to recovery, installed provided opengapps, reboot, and I got the "classic" reboot when I tried to select the wifi connection. Same issue I got when tried the crdroid rom. Few weeks ago I played with device tree (enesuzun) from github and ressurection remix code and got same reboot when selected the wifi ( or selected to use mobile network).

Hi, today morning I tried again. Upgraded the recovery to TWRP-3.2.3 (was 3.2.2 before), clean install, wiped everything except internal storage, flashed only the rom, selected the language and when selected the network (wifi or mobile) auto reboot.
I pushed quickly the buttons for recovery and saved the last-kmsg file (part of log attached). I found in log "13a00000.sysmmu READ PAGE FAULT at 0x12630000" and "Kernel panic - not syncing: Unrecoverable System MMU Fault!!", maybe is kernel issue?
Other roms, NexusOS 9.0, RR-OS 6.2.0, working on my phone (SM-G920F), the crdroid, what using same device tree I think, has exactly same SysMMU fault.
Tried to flash the rom + provided opengapps and boot, but same issue.
Hi there can i install it on my note 5

@etnperlong will you include IR app in future builds? BTW the NFC module is missing in ROM
A surprisingly positive ROM. among the most reactive, smooth and without lag. In 48 hours of use I have not had crashes or reboots. Even the battery seems to be good, consumption seems in line if not better than the other ROM pye. I did not find LeEco Extras and the hardware navigation keys lack the backlighting. I hope the datOS team will continue to develop because they have done an excellent job that needs to be continued and perfected. Thanks to the dotOS team.
i could not install magisk otherwise everything seems good.
HELP PLEASE!
if i install the magisk phone stays boot logo. how can i install the magisk?

I have regularly installed Magisk with the usual procedure of always after the first restart of the ROM. To be precise, I installed v.18.0 and after rebooting, running Magisk Manager I updated Magisk Manager to version 7.0 and Magisk to version 18.1. The whole procedure is smooth and the result is "Certified Device".
If the procedure is carried out properly there should be no problem. It would be a good idea if there are any hitches to clean the Google Play Store app cache. I use the TWRP 3.2.3-1 official for all the Roms I've tested without any problems. Never had any inconveniences.
succeeded on my last try. everything seems well now.
Really good job for this rom. Hope you are efficient for support it ???
Be a powerful maintener!
Why doesnt light indication from viber?
