I'm on Android P DP3 (Beta 3). Therefore, I can only rate things and say whether it is good or not. But you can always tell me if something works well or not. Then I will always change that.

No I do not have both. My Bootloader is locked and it does not look like it works so fast. But I want to have the bootloader unlocked as fast as possible. TWRP can only be installed if the bootloader is unlocked. I will add more stuff coming out for the device as long as I can understand that this works.

Here on page 1 is explained very well. It could be that TWRP is currently not up to date with me and therefore I recommend to take the version from there.

Redmi series are know only to get 1 android version upgrade.

What Security Patch level is it on.
I will wait until xiaomi.eu release it.
And if xposed gets released for Nougat, I might consider using the Ported roms.

Basically what we got is some new themes which we can apply on miui 8 also.
What did you expect guys?
I flashed it, its pretty nice rom. 2017-08-05 sec. patch. Installed google installer v2 alongside and it works great. No noticeable difference with 8 though.
Port ROM have big bugs still like camera not working. I am staying and waiting for O
But itll take a while before O is ready

Question, one month later but...anyway, is there any hope for at least one of this functions get implemented on global rom ?
I had a Moto G5 Plus and I also uploaded all the Roms, Tools and Apps Extra and saved them in one place. I also give tips and help with the installation. Of course only as far as I can. Unfortunately, this is not quite finished but I also write what I have uploaded and if it is ready.

Can you make a BOOTABLE image of stock Recovery for me? My device it's in a hard brick and I can't do anything without the bootable img of stock recovery! Thanks for attention

By flashing this you take responsibility of anything that happens.
Process at your own risk!
If you want to check firmware - please make backup. Better to store all partitions, at least efs and may be modem.
Instructions
1. Install custom recovery - use my twrp
2. Download the zip(s) - firmware and Magisk (optional)
3. Backup all partitions (it least efs) and store somewhere - it need to do - because you can loose imei
4. Full wipe all
5. Flash firmware and Magisk

How are you friend Valera! ?? First of all I appreciate this new port of samsung oreo. It is much better than the previous one due to the fact that it is from tablet to tablet. I installed it 2 hours ago and everything is wonderful, I'm probably my daily driver from now on. I will comment on bugs that I have found, some already mentioned in the OP. Camera does not work
- processing error when starting samsung account session
- blue filter
- gps seems to work
- I have a book cover and the screen does not turn on or off with the magnet
this is all for the moment, while I will continue watching a series in netflix with chromecast that works well in this rom, also the smart view. Thank you! It is a huge job!

Today there was a new stock 8.1 firmware for the P580 (same as our but with s-pen). This is our related tablet with same hardware. As result now we have ideal fully worked port. Right now for T580 only, soon I'll finish it for T585.
This is good, and I hope soon we will get original stock firmware too.
Another great news... btw spen futures can be removed? Because it is unuseful for T585.
On Sammobile you can download original 8.1 FW for p580, p585.

I am struggling to get the ROM working on my p580. With Odin it works but when I make a flash able zip with superr kitchen it stuck at the boot screen. Also the twrp isn't working. How do you got your twrp working on Oreo ?

Of course, rom flashed on my tab T580, this version of the P580 works great, I did not find a single error. Thank you very much for this great work.
It is very fast, there is more ram available with respect to nougat, I really love it, new daily driver!

I know maybe some of you guys already did that years ago and that I am pretty late with it right now but I havent seen a thread where this was mentioned in (maybe I was just too lazy to look everywhere) but I recently made a video on how to get the Samsung Experience 8.1 Features on the S6/edge without any root or custom rom. Originally, we only got Experience 8.0, according to Wikipedia, however it isnt even mentioned in the Device Info page (if you ask me, they should have waited a few more weeks and should have given us Android 7.1.1 directly like the J5 2016 or SE 8.1 with 7.0 like the S5 Neo).
However, thanks to API 24 / Android 7.0, we are able to get nearly 80% of the Samsung Experience 8.1 Features, by updating the stock apps and TouchWiz Launcher manually. We can even get Bixby Home with that method. Things you will not be able to change are the general look of the UI (Lockscreen, Settings, QuickPanel), however you can install AOD Display, which will then be shown in the Settings. S6 edge+/Note 5 users will also benefit more from this, as they already got some S8 functions inside their firmware like changing Screen resolution or being able to activate Boostmode. The tutorial should be applicable to every Samsung device that runs Android 7.0 (A-2016 series/J-2016 series)

No. Please only use the versions I linked in the video. If you install a more recent version of TouchWiz/Bixby, they might start to crash. You can try though

J5 using nougat with Samsung Experience, while S6 also using nougat but stuck with old TouchWiz base wtf, Samsung just lazy duh. The only thing I want from Samsung Experience is the status bar icon, which looks modern. Is there anyway to get it, I have a rooted S6 btw

I flashed CalyxOS on my Pixel 2XL a couple weeks ago and I'm liking it. I think I can finally dump Google Voice, too, so Calyx on P6 might be my next big move.
I flashed my pixel 6. I have to say the installation was fast and really easy ! I have one problem though, I can't install any apk. The weird part is that I can install app with fdroid and aurora but not from apk files. If anyone knows what I can do tell me

I solved my problem. First the file explorer does not have install privilege by default so I gave it the oermission. Then it was duckduckgo browser fault. It removes the extension part, I had to rename the file with an ".apk" at the end.
It might help someone in the future.

Make sure the file extension is still APK if you try to download them on duckduckgo edit: nevermind I just saw your last message lmao

root isn't necessary, just an unlocked bootloader and working USB drivers.
I'm not aware of a list but it would be interesting to see one. Narrowing your question to specific apps might fetch a better answer. At one time I ran /e/ Foundations's ROM and never came across app barriers I thought mattered for a de-googled phone.

update : found what i need from aurora store and work on calyx v. 3.1.1
I flashed CalyxOS on Friday with MicroG and I have to say I'm not missing anything so far apart from Google Pay. All my other apps work as they should.
The only problem is some of my most used apps are activated via in app purchases which isn't detected by the Aurora Store, so I've contacted the devs to see if there is a way to activate it manually.
All in all I'm really happy with Calyx so far.

Update after about a month of CalyxOS and one OTA update. Really happy. Was adamant that I would go with GrapheneOS but somehow COS looked good out of the box and fit my use case real well (no microg). Fdroid, Aurora, Signal all pre loaded for me.
