[Kernel] [AK2] [8.1] [MAR2018] Stock Kernel w/ safetynet patch & dm-verity disabled
I wanted to unlocked my bootloader and flash custom mods and themes without losing Android Pay and other apps while staying on stock kernel and unrooted. So, I made this kernel for myself, and I thought I'd share it with the community.
Stock Kernel with Safetynet unlocked bootloader patch (new updated patch), dm-verity and forced encryption disabled. Will work with all 8.0 builds.
AnyKernel2 flashable zip for better ROM compatibility.

Camera Problem NOKIA X6 TA-1099
Hi all, i Purchased 2pcs of Nokia x6 TA-1099 from China and I'm residing in Kenya. The phones are working perfectly fine. Only one problem is one of the phone when i open camera app, the rear camera has redish lines which appear especially in close up. The problem is not there in the other unit which i am using. What maybe the problem? Kindly assist. Do i do factory reset to see if it helps? That phone is used by my sister-in-law and I feel bad because i ordered 2 phones, one for myself and one for her and her unit has a problem. Kindly advice

Hello All,
I appear to have a mish-mash of a spec!
Box says X6
Phone says 6.1 Plus
Model TA-1099
Build 00WW_2_50A
Android One 8.1.0
So, from the look of it, I have the international build (I'm guessing the WW = Worldwide vs CN = China), but I'm confused by the mix of the International "6 Plus" name & the Chinese model number of TA-1099
Can anyone explain? I'm ultimately hoping to be able to flash the phone to get LTE B20 (800Mhz) added to the Baseband, but need to know what I've got to start with.
Thanks.
Camera x2 tele
Can Nokia x6 camera support x2 telephone mode? As it is dual camera. This will be very handy.

There are several sources to download official firmwares for your device as listed below:
- Frija (Tool)
- SamFrew
- SamFirm (Tool)
- SamMobile
- Updato
Flashing stock firmwares with Odin v3
First of all, download an official stock firmware from one of the sources mentioned above.
Make sure you select the correct variant and region for your device! (e.g. Device: SM-A520F, Region: DBT (Germany))
If you don't know your device variant, go to settings > phone info or reboot to donwload (odin) mode.
Now let's getting started:
1. Download Odin v3.13.1
2. Download and install latest Samsung USB drivers (skip this if you have drivers installed already)
3. Extract your downloaded firmware to a new folder
4. Open Odin as administrator (right click > run as admin)
5. In BL tab add BL_....tar.md5
6. In AP tab add AP_....tar.md5
7. In CP tab add CP_....tar.md5
8. In CSC tab add CSC_....tar.md5* or HOME_CSC_....tar.md5*
9. Turn off your device
10. Now boot your device to download mode by press and hold volume down + home + power button
11. Connect your device to your PC
12. If you see a blue box (e.g. [0]:COM7) or "Added!!" text in Odin then you're ready to flash the firmware**
13. Hit start button
14. Wait until you see "PASS" in Odin
15. Disconnect your device and enjoy your new firmware.
* CSC_...tar.md5 has a partition (pit) table inside which means your data partition gets wiped if you choose this tar. Use HOME_CSC...tar.md5 if you want keep all your data.
** If you don't see any added message or blue box then samsung drivers are not proper installed.

Samsung promised to do 2 major updates and that's what they have done. I do agree that they are a bit behind in updates. But not as bad as other brands.

Yeah, I know. There are Pie Custom ROMs available so that’s better than nothing. I do agree that it’s stupid that a 2017 phone shipped with 2015 Android and won’t get 2018’s Android update.
