I have an Mate 10 AL-L29. 2 days ago l tried to rebrand it to chinese model android 8.1, firmware 321. After rebrand l saw my emei is 0000000000. l did it some days ago and all was fine! Now if l make downgrade to a old firmware, my imei is fine, but if l do an upgrade to a new firmware, it doesn't matter ALP-L29 or ALP-AL00, my imei is gone!
Any solution guys? Thanks!

It's not possible anymore, Huawei patched the method dc uses to generate code. They also updated bootloader so it's impossible to downgrade to a build where it does work. There is a thread in the P20 section which has a solution to get code, but it cost 30 euro and I'm only aware of it being tested on P20 (it claims to work on all phones/new firmware)

Questions about Mate 10 rebrand (ALP-AL00 to ALP-L29c636)

Hi everyone:
Here is my situation.
I have a mate 10 6+128G. Device information:
Version: EMUI: 8.0.8
Firmware: ALP-AL00 8.8.8.129 (SP2C00)
Bootloader was unlock, I also root my phone, install TWRP, Magisk ... I also install Google Play, Google Service ..
Everything seems fine until I try to use Google Pay.
I got stuck when trying to register VISA credit card in Google Pay, MasterCard is fine.
I did a lot of search on China Huawei forums, and found China version of firmware got issues when register VISA credit card.
I have consulted my friends who have Mate 10, and they said they don't have such problem.
In my country, Mate 10 firmware version is ALP-L29C636, so I would like to rebrand my Mate 10 to this firmware.
But I still have some doubts regarding rebrand.
1. OEMINFO:
Should I replace my OEMINFO before rebranding ? From some post, seems it's necessary to replace OEMINFO with L29C636 version.
If I replace OEMINFO, will I lost my IMEI ?
2. After rebranding, Bootloader will be locked again. So I should use the same unlock code to unlock my Bootloader ?
3. After rebranding, I still want to root my phone. Can I follow the same method to root my phone after flashing new version of firmware ?
Thanks.

Talk to this guy: https://ministryofsolutions.com/
Its better and safer to spend some small $ and allow someone who is familiar with rebranding to do the job instead of risking and ends up in a brick. He did a rebrand on my Mate 10 from ALP-L09(C109) to ALP-L09(C432) and I can say it it's not so easy (in my opinion) so my recommendation is to contact him.

Ok thank you ,,, i will keep searching
Just a quick heads up, rebranding and changing from L09 to L29 will in all likelihood zero out your IMEI numbers (and make your unlock code useless).

I know people on here don't like them but I re-branded an L09 to an L29 using FunkyHuawei. It costs but it worked and I have a perfectly valid IMEI still intact (and I didn't have to unlock). However, it may be that the exploit used for this process no-longer exists... The FH team are very helpful

mate 10 pro BLA-L09 (C521) movistar colombia, DownGrade, rebrand, Unlock Bootloader?

I am from Colombia and I have the following problem:
I currently have a HUAWEI MATE 10 pro with the ROM BLA-L09 (C521) EMUI 8 with security patch of September 2018.
So far I have not been able to do anything with the phone.
I would like to do DOWNGRADE with a patch before June, but I can't find the right firmware. I tried installing BLA-L09C_8.0.0.116 (C521CUSTC521D8) _Firmware_Android_8.0.0_EMUI_8.0.0_05014WBB but it does not let the process continue.
I tried to install several ROMs by UPDATE.APP and I couldn't do it either.
I would like someone to help me to be able to install a free ROM and receive updates.:llorando:
Sorry for my English, I use the translator

Media Pad M5 Pro (C431) HOW TO CHANGE CUST?

Hi,
I bought 1 year ago the Media Pad M5 Pro unbranded from eBay.
I never received any update till now Still on Android 8.0.0 ( Build Nr CMR-AL19 8.0.0.199 (C431)
Huawei Support told me multiple times there is no update available for my device.
But I think they are wrong.
I think it just got the wrong Cust (C431 is made for "providers" but mine has no brand but this firmware)
C432 receives all the updates from Huawei.
So my question is how I can change my Cust from C431 to C432 or directly flash a C432 firmware?
I hope someone can help me in easy steps I think I am not the only one on the whole internet with this problem but in non-forum a solution.
Thanks

changing to c432 (which is the m5 wifi version, with Kirin 960s not Kirin 960) is quit risky - bootloop
but u could go for the testpoint method and flash treble gsi android 10, need to open bootloader
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m5/how-to/downgrade-unbrick-huawei-device-methods-t3915693
its a bit easier with HCU client and dc phoenix( u need the dc unlocker anyway -to unlock bootloader - unfortunatly no other way) but HCU is 20 bucks time license for 3 days
if you really want the the super easy way there is a guy doing it for 30 bucks but u need to give him access to your windows pc(i wouldnt do that) https://ministryofsolutions.com/paid-services
if u find an easier way pls tell me, i gave an cmr-w09 (m5 wifi) and its running super smooth on havoc os(custom android 10)
