Nope, that's not the battery bar ! It has to do with pulldown header or something

I think this is a bug on my s8+
Go to settings, display, try setting screen size to Large and I get System UI error close and black screen and device become unresponsive.
it also did it on V 18.0 earlier before I reflashed to v18.1
Just received a new S8 and looking to root for the first time (on this device).
It's been so long since I rooted a new phone, can someone point me in the direction of a decent tutorial? Is it still the same process with the new bootloader?

EDIT - noticed a thread on XDA for installation of TWRP. The OP then states that your custom ROM will root your phone, provided you install Magisk or SuperSu. It can't be that simple, can it?

The logs tell me this:

First i had TWRP 3.2.1.0 and i have updated to 3.2.2.0 but this did not fix the problem.
Also restoring the backup from my nandroid backup from V18.0 doesn't solve the Problem

Errors In Rom
TELL ME
1) Put The Downloaded Rom in your Internl SD Of Your Device
2) Make Sure You Have 6.0.1 (OEM) Rom And TWRP (from Lollipop it won't work)
3) Go To Recovery Mode (TWRP) To "BackUp" And Just Tick Mark (EFS) and Swipe To Backup
4) After That Go to Wipe
Swipe To Wipe
5) Then Go To Install Select the Rom you Downloaded Then "Swipe To Confirm Flash"
6) Wait Till the Rom Installation Is completed The Once its done Press Reboot Button
Initial rom boot takes about 5 minutes so wait patiently for setupwizard

ModernUI is a theme styled after Windows Phone 10 design using ModernUI icons.
Requirements:
- Oneplus 3T running OOS 4.0.3 or 4.1.0 (or ROM based on the same stock version).

- Custom recovery
Installation:
Copy the zip to your phone. Reboot into recovery and flash the zip in twrp. The Aroma installer will guide you. It is recommended to flash first the stock options, boot, reboot into recovery and flash the themed options. Then reboot again and enjoy.
Please note that the theme works properly with the default theme settings (light theme gets buggy).
Sometimes Aroma cannot finish the installation process or reports error 11, in this case just repeat the installation process.

It would be possible to implement dark notifications but the notification text color of many apps is hardcoded and unreadable then. I cannot get a systemwide proper notification system.

Sometimes Aroma complaint to avoid constant startup and that the gapps are well installed
For P / V / G / and other variants if the rom starts not where it goes in loop tries to change the kernel

So the brightness issue is fixed when aod is activated? I see the bug list and it is fingerprint so I assumed that the aod is fix? What about the hotspot and private mode?

Sometimes Aroma complaint to avoid constant startup and that the gapps are well installed

During installation, you should not restore applications with Google or Samsung configure as a new device
To avoid conflicts and stop TouchWiz

They are both very good
Apocalypse v6 based on Norma v18
And the v6.1.0 based on Norma.v20
They have a lot of mod and cons a bit the battery that is normal
*.Batman v.1.0.0 based on C9Pro v13 is well optimized for the battery with quite a lot of Mod too

there is already a rom control app without this additional mod. what are the benefits of it? or what functions are added? Didn't like the shortcuts in recent apps menu from ApocalypseX v6.1. Are they implemented through this mod-zip, too?

You will feel it smoother also battery seems to be better
