I find it better actually. I had about 65% battery left yesterday before I went to bed with about 2.5h sot and the phone unplugged for about 14h. The phone was on wifi all day tho, haven't used 4G.

No issue with battery here. Make Backup and reflash Full-Upgrade. Or go to recovery and try clean cache. Maybe try this first

Its been said that your battery stats might get wiped and it needs 24 to 48 hours to recreate and correct based on your use. So dont panic its normal for some devices

Today i've updated my galaxy s2 with Odin to 4.1.2
Everything looks great and works perfect but i have two problems.
My phone is getting hot and it drains my battery verry fast!
Please, can someone help me with this?

let the ROM settle, 2 or 3 battery cycle.
installs BBS, cpu spy and gsam battery monitor
check which app is consuming more battery
if it is media scanner, there is rescan media apk available to disable it.
calibrate the battery and monitor it.

i noticed that it gets hot too.. i was playing FF3 and it got realy hot near the camera area..
battery life is good for me.. 61% reamaining after 23h 55m 22s

Is that on stock settings and kernel how long was the display on time? I struggle to get 12 hours now on my phone

yes all in stock.. well if understand your question correctly it was 1h 24m 54s..
also a media server 40m awake state..
Use Siyah kernel v6 beta4 instead of stock kernel, Plus it will give you root, cwm and SU.

I have a problem too. If i go to setting and storega. It is say calculating and cand go further.... tried to format internal memory and do factory reset but my files isn`t removed it`s stay there. Help me please how to solve the problem.
I dont wantto root my phone.
Is there a way to cool down my phone and boost my battery?
Its verry anoying.

I`m able to fix my problem. Connected my phone to my PC and it is repaired to me. It was take around 1 hour to check and fix. After that I`m able to format over windows and now everything is working perfectly.
It's about the memory
I had the same problem with my S2 , it was getting hot and the battery life was shorter than norma, i has so little free memory on phone memory,so i deleted some apks and created some free space and the problem solved,my phone returned to it's normal state.i think that was the reason so check this out if it works. :good:

Turn off google now its tracks where you every 20 sec and this eats battery very fast. It will use about 3-5% battery a hour. Also install deep sleep battery saver
Look a trick for saving battery this method disables background processes in settings go to development and down, limit background processes to 1 or 2

i have the same problem and havent found a solution yet
I was using Canvas 4 Rom ported to our device, I had the same problem. My battery back up till 30% is pretty good, but when it reaches 30% in 5 minutes it drains to 15%. I thought the problem is with that Rom. So I flashed the p.18 stock Rom. But the same problem persist.
Is anyone less having the same problem? If so then what is the solution for this problem? Kindly help me regarding this.

Canvas 4 rom has no issues with the battery instead it gives very good backup. U try this.
Download battery caliberator from Playstore.
Charge the mobile till 100%
Open the App
click on battery caliberate
Once it clears all the battery stats remove the charger and drain the battery till 0 and then charge it fully i.e. 100%
and then use it.. It will solve ur battery issue

It happens with some of the Roms. Dont worry.. It is not flashing issue.. Even i faced these issues in Jellyxperia 5.5 rom . I changed it to MIUI rom by JavaJohn .. then no issues.. Many users faced this.

Every rom has these issue brother, even the miui rom also. There is no solution till now although some solution has been posted on fb but still no one yet confirmed it working.
And that battery calibration also doesn't work. It's problem With kernel thing. Correct me if m wrong anybody

No bro.. I used SGalaxy CHD 3.2 and Jellyxperia 4 . Now using MIUI by JavaJohn ... I didnot see these issues in following roms. If this issue with kernel then it should replicate these issues in above roms also.
Correct me IF i am wrong?

no problem with rom or kernel... problem is battery not calibrating after flashing rom... i tried all battery calibration apps nothing is working..
THE PROBLEM IS BATTERY NOT FULL CHARGED, IF YOU WANT TO CHECK THAT JUST CHARGE FROM 0% YOU CAN SEE 60-70% TAKING MORE TIME, AFTERTHAT IT WILL TAKE 10-15MINS TO FULL CHARGE
Battery is getting full charged but it was only 50 cent through...... And in 10 min was 100percent

Discharge from 30% to 15% in 10 mins and charging from 80% to 100% in 10 mins..
I have tried many custom ROMs and Stock ROMs with no luck
I have also tried calibrating multiple ways like calibrating when at 100% and discharge and tried calibrating from 35% and discharge..
No luck yet..
Anyone has better options to try

It's just a software bug, when the phone show's you 100% it's not fully charged yet, but it says so.
Just leave it connected to the charger for another 30mins, then it'll actually be fully charged and you also won't encounter the 30-15% drop.
On a sidenote, enabling forced gpu renderering in developer options increased my screen on time from 6 to 7 hours per charge. Why? No idea...

I too had that issue but after getting into miui by java john all was set i didn encountered that prob in the latest update 3.12.9

At 1st the battery performance of Soak test was good but few days later it decreased like 25% drainage overnight

i installed the soak test lollipop update , i fill that battery is draining as compare to early version of kitkat 4.4.4, and i would like to know either i shall get the latest upgrade lollipop by OTA or not?

I'm running the latest CM 12. Battery backup has decreased a lot especially in standby mode..... Overnight it drained like 27% in 6 hours... I had no data or Wi-Fi left active... Infact the mobile was in aeroplane mode... Anyone got any fix on this?

Hey, I have a redmi note 4 snapdragon version and I have flashed aosp extended rom and franco kernel in it, but I am getting a very poor battery life, hardly 1 hour screen on time and the phone shuts off by the time battery gets to 30 to 20%. My phone is rooted too and i am not using any kind of battery saver app.

The problem started probably when i rooted my phone on stock rom(miui 10), the very next day i cleaned every thing (including my firmware accidentally) to flash custom rom, then after flashing i found out that none of the hardware components are working and i posted a thread about it and as per the answers i flashed a latest chinese firmware for redmi note 4.And it worked except i started noticing an awfully bad battery backup(hadn't noticed before as all this happened in just 2 days. (as a matter of fact the battery went down 5% as i wrote this, oh 6 now!)

I had similar problems.
I clean flashed the latest OFFICIAL AOSPExtended, Ethereal Kernel and Global STABLE firmware.
Haven't had any issues since.

Cleaning everything, as you stated, including the whole firmware,
You answered your whole thread yourself, just flash stock frimware, then flash AEX like flashing any normal ROM.
I have the same problem, the battery die after 1h screen, when the battery Is on 20% the device shutdown,help me pls, i have rr with franco kernel.
hi OP. base on what you are describing, it looks like your battery is dying... nothing to do with the OS. be careful 'cause chinese batterys (like 70%) turn out to be real sh*t (on my own experiance). consider to replace battery from a confiable retailer or change device.

It needs time to settle, give it a few days, mine was like that now it's the same as 10.0
Mine is the same, maybe even a little bit better.
Did you check battery usage? Maybe some app is draining the battery.
Its same for me too ... Just wipe cache partition and uou will be fine
