I have bought samsung galaxy s7 edge SM-G935P oreo.
First there was a problem handsfree activation failed.
I bypass handsfree activation using package disable pro.
Then i insert sim and save the internet setting for my mobile i just click install on internet confg message and my mobile got locked and hang even i was trying to unlock it but failed. Then i remove the sim and insert other network sim and do the same trying to install internet confg message and the same thing happens.
Any one tell me please how to solve this problem i want to use mobile data on my fone

I have a unlocked Samsung SGH-I747 from ATT its mobile data tethering is not working. Error message "Mobile data is not available or invalid SIM" appears. I have rooted the phone with SUPERSU. I am a amateur at this I rooted the phone following instructions on youtube and xdadevelopers. Its working fine otherwise.
Could someone help? I don't have internet at home and want to use the simcard to connect. I am using a simcard that allows tethering on a normal smartphone. No problem with the simcard.

Suggestion take no advice or firmware from here this is the I9300 forum .It may brick your none I9300 .

Hi Ladies & gents,
I'm new to this forum, and new to android.
Basically i was given a Samsung Galaxy ace by my brother (was on o2 network, all working fine), and i decided that i wanted to try & unlock it.
In the process, i rooted the phone successfully, and downloaded galaxy tool box, to unlock it. This was all carried out using an sd card from my pc.
After the procedure i changed sim to 3 network, and found the phone saying "no network coverage."
I checked the settings, and under mobile networks\network operators if i click on search networks, "searching flashes up for a second and thats it!
If i try select automatically it says "unable to connect to network. Try again"
The phone shows 3 out of 4 bars signal, and when i try & call someone it says "no network coverage."
Have i goofed up, as i now have a phone that works fine on wifi and everything else except to make non voip (skype etc) calls!
Please help?

Chek your imei num.
If not there fix it with HEX EDITOR. Your network connection wiil be start.

Hi I recently purchased this phone and I am trying to get the mobile data working. I have ptel as my provider and I am able to call and text but just no data. I haven't unlock phone from tmobile and it seems like I can't add a new APN. Do I have to unlock it and rooted in order to get the data work? Thanks a bunch

It has been awhile since I've been on here. I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section (this forum has changed so much over the years).
Anyways, I am currently a T-Mo customer and just got a Metro PCS Samsung Galaxy SGH-M819N because I thought I could simply flash a rom that would allow me to use T-Mobile sim card. However, it turns out that it may not be that simple.
Can someone advise whether or not I am able to unlock the sim (without paying it through sites such cellunlocker.net) via flash? If so, would you be kind to direct me to the site or page which gives directions?

I am ended buying an unlock code via eBay for $14.99. I enter the code and the phone no longer asks for SIM unlock code BUT now it does not register with any carriers.
i inserted my t-mo sim card into the phone, go to settings, and tried to automatically and manually connect to the tmobile network but keep getting the "unable to connect at this time. try again later" message.
i contacted tmobile via chat and provided imei number and sim card number but was still unable to connect.
i flash backed to stock firmware 4.4.4 and still no luck.
i checked my "device info" and under "phone status" it shows my phone number assigned to the sim card but not connecting to service provider.
Any ideas anyone? Please help.

I am able to connect with the stock Metro PCS apn.
I am also able to use TMO apn as well.
Make sure the apn is correct.
Go to more networks and then mobile network.

Has anyone found a fix for this? Also, would this error still be present if I installed Lineage OS? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Send a hiii text message to another available working number.
1. If it fails to send message, goto customer care of your sim network.
2. If message received by another, goto Los , you won't facing this.

I can send messages to others. I'll switch to Lineage as soon as my bootloader is unlocked. Thank you!

I have the Redmi K20 Pro and was able to fix this error. Go to Settings >> SIM cards & mobile networks >> Data roaming and set Overseas data roaming to "Always" (don't worry, this will only be for a few minutes). Let the activation services run again (you may have to repeat the activation attempt a few times), and your device should be able to activate the SIM and verify the phone number. When it's completed, you can turn the Overseas data roaming back to "Never."

Thanks! Unfortunately, even after switching to Lineage OS, I was only able to get 2G speeds. I ended up just switching to AT&T.
