Im having difficulties in rooting and having custom roms on this device..
is there no stable rom yet for note 3 pro? i get confused sometimes i think i read about 3 PRO later on it was just for note 3..
can someone put me on the right direction please?
this device aint easy to root and have custom roms unlike xiaomi redmi 1s..

2. Flash TWRP
3. BackUp your data
4. Factory Reset
5. Flash any rom

Bro ,
1) YouTube search on how to unlock the bootloader . You have many videos to get you started .
2)Take a backup.
3) after unlocking the bootloader install Twrp .
4) flash the ROM and gapps .
5) Done
Go with mokee having really big devs support and most stable ROM yet other ones are xosp

Download the fastboot package from miui(dot)com and flash it on fastboot mode using Mi Flash tool.. (google "index sd redmi note 4 xda", the thread has links to everything you need..)
Guys Got my redmi note 3 yesterday. I have requested to unlock my bootloader. I think I will get permission after 10 days . So after getting permission I like to install twrp recovery. But I couldn't find any guide. So please any one can share link to guide where I can install twrp. It's running on miui 8 global beta 7.3.23

If you move between miui and custom rom (Los, asop, caf) zcx is better
If you plan to stay in custom official is better

If you switch ROMs which aren't miui based then official is the best. Of you want miui also them go for zcx.

TWRP is open source. However it doesn't support Android 10 devices yet.
LRTWRP is closed source and not audited by the original TWRP developers.

I'm Vietnamese too. My new phone codename is "joyeuse" and using V11.0.1.0.QJZMIXM (1 version lower than you).
I see comment of "dude2402" - HMNote9ProEU_V11.0.2.0.QJZMIXM - That mean : he/she using 'joyeuse' and rom of xiaomi.eu FOR redmi note 9 pro global (joyeuse) . Do you know mod/port/cook rom ??? ==> "It's work for me" when he/she flash twrpnote9s.
AND "lolo9393" comment - CURTANA TWRP is the same for JOYEUSE phone - I try to flash ==> Success with my phone .
So does this means any custom roms for curtana will also work for joyeuse?
