Want some Pie?
Unlike Oreo, which took almost 3 months to get a usable test build, this time, with Pie, it only took under 2 weeks. So here's the first test builds of Lineage 16.0 for the GT-I9190 (serrano3gxx), GT-I9192 (serranodsdd) and GT-I9195 (serranoltexx).

Hi Arco68, Does it means that Android 9.0 - Pie would be recommended to use it as daily driver very soon from you in comparison with lower builds of Android (7.1.2 & 8.1.0) because I use still your ROM 7.1.2 and I love it and which is in my opinion the most stable version of Android for S4 mini at the moment. What are your thoughts on it ? Thanks in advance !

I don't know. It depends on how long it takes for all lineage features to be implemented, and I'm sure there are some bugs I have not come across yet. As of now it's not recommended for daily, unless you can live with the current limitations.

You're a f%$%#& MONSTER Arne!!!

Yes In Magisk changelog mentioned that it will root pie
Download https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v16.7/Magisk-v16.7.zip

Well, Oreo is supported by Magisk too, but not with unofficial arco68's builds. So I'm asking will this it be compatible with Magisk?

Fantastic work. @arco68 we thank you very much!
How can I see the recents tabs?

For recent apps download button mapper and set another button (i set long press home button)
AnTuTu score is 34800 (Oreo has 36000)
Oreo is much stable than pie (now) @arco68 I only see hardware button lights doesn't working.
Sorry for my english ?

@arco68
Fantastic work !
You are also a great magician ...
A thousand thanks for that :good:

So this ROM is from WinKarbik.

I inserted the DT2W-kernel to the main ROM-file. Download-link in the first post!
This ROM has problem with Xposed making phone unbootable.
I tried two other ROMs (Lineage and AICP) which don't have the problem.

Excuse me in advance for going OT but before trying to install custom roms, have you tried to flash global version of MIUI that is bundled with most of world languages and can fit your needs: it has got working google play, not a single china app and is working fairly well in all parts. It can be easily flashed on locked bootloader as well using miflash tool, a windows 64 bit system and putting the phone in download mode.
You can find most of informations here http://en.miui.com/thread-228048-1-1.html
@ Ivan thanks for the suggestion. Sincerely, I'm grateful. It's just I think I'm feed up with everything not custom. This is the first phone that I haven't bin able to gain root access as well as flashing custom ROM.
I want to even run twrp as well, but I just learnt of dm-verity. I just need a way out of this.

If you have already unlocked your bootloader (otherwise have a look at this: http://en.miui.com/thread-324619-1-1.html), install twrp (following instructions you can find here on xda) and then, when you access for the first time in TWRP (immediately after you flash TWRP I mean!), flash lazy-flasher that you can find here http://en.miui.com/thread-310923-1-1.html: this will patch boot.img and you will have a "permanent" TWRP that won't go away at first system restart. Now you can install SuperSU or any custom rom you want to try without any problem! Now, after much time on MIUI 8, I'm on LOS 14.1, but I've tried many other custom roms, each of one was stable and good for daily use except AEX which is a very good rom but someone (like me), on latest build, wasn't able to use internet data for a bug. CR-Droid is very good as well!

Use 3rd party apps.
Up and running - haven't used it a great deal so far, but it boots, is stable.
If you need gapps, just google Gapps for Android 8. I found that the flash never 'completed' in TWRP but it was fine after a force reboot.

To those who doesn't want to use navigation bar you can edit your build.prop simply add qemu.hw.mainkeys = 1
There is also a bug. Long pressing home button doesn't lead to recent apps for this use 'button remapper' app to fix the issue.

I'm afraid that's not entirely true.Aex oreo is not using sultan's hals and camera still works fine except for the video recording, which is bound to fix soon.

Good for him, even on mine was facing the video recording issue, the fix was easy on my case.
Just need to change some paths of audio.
Code:
$(LOCAL_PATH)/audio/audio_platform_info.xml:system/vendor/etc/audio_platform_info.xml \
$(LOCAL_PATH)/audio/audio_policy.conf:system/vendor/etc/audio_policy.conf \
$(LOCAL_PATH)/audio/mixer_paths.xml:system/vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml
Its all moved to vendor folder in my case. This fixed audio sound problems and video camera recording.
first of all, thanks for developer, it is the step forward and anyway like it or not, it just another one rom at the popular base (oreo), so we can think that our device is still not forgotten. 3 oreo roms here,,,
then i'd like to share my exp with this rom.
- it's very fast and simple to install, i've just flashed twrp under my cm13 and wiped data, cache and system, no storage wipe, no format. just a few moments and it works without boaring startup wzrd.
- i've got less SOD situations at first use. may be i can see it after installantion of progs (and their services), but other roms (except stock) shows much worse results, and i even suppose i'll be able to use it in casual life (no custom roms can do it before: hydrogen 7.12., flyme 6. oreo - even didn't started properly).
- the fail is that the buttons are not configurable, i hope i can use something like mi-pop or other soft-button app.
- i see, there are some other bug can be, there is a first build, so, feel free to write you first looks.

I've made my work on AOSP Phh-Treble as modular as possible, so that it can be reused on other ROMs.
As part of this effort, I'm releasing GSIs of Resurrection Remix.
This is a GSI, and true to the GSI spirit. It aims at supporting a maximum number of devices, but only with AOSP-available hardware features.
All credits obviously goes to Resurrection Remix developers

Well, this RR hasn't been tested much, and even AOSP hasn't been tested on G965F as far as I know.
But it's supposed to work.
Feel free to report your results
does this include gapps for a/b devices
Feel free to PM me, and we'll test AOSP if you want to.
thanks for your work, A-only version running smooth on S9+. GAPPS and if possible root would be nice.
Great Work!
Thanks! Working fine in Xiaomi Mi5 but some small bugs
Ohhhh man @phhusson this ROM is pure love, was desperately waiting for this, thankyou so much
Any idea how to flash Gapps onto the rom?

Reboot Recovery after you flashed the Image, then install Opengapps of your choice. (Depends on free space on /System for some Devices, for Mido the Micro Gapps are to big)

Backlight buttons, VolTE and home fp button, well i mean they are not vital at all except maybe for VolTE (here in Chile at least VolTE isn't implemented yet, so no worries)
Just wondering tho, the GSI LOS and AOSP have backlight buttons since it has the options in the "buttons option", but not on RR GSI

Yeah the button backlight patches don't apply on RR, and patch fails are ignored at the moment (because ROMs might already include patches. For instance lineage already has this button backlight patch.
I'll try to fix it, but that's quite low on my product priority list.

[AOSP 13] LeOS - ungoogled GSI

Hi all,
I have created a GSI based on latest TrebleDroid AOSP Android 13. Thanks all TrebleDroid devs for the great work.
What is LeOS:
1. It's full ungoogled
2. It includes full Working MicroG -- but this is a special LeOS-MicroG version. pls see attachment
3.This version is still a beta version and not booting on all treble devices. In some cases the GSI is better booting on devices with a custom (LineageOS) rom as base. Especially devices with A10 firmware.
4. available for now only arm64 VNDK
5. no google Apps will work !!!!
You can download latest release at https://leos-cloud.de/s/JFrFgLgSSTEMtmL?path=/LeOS-T-beta
A list of tested devices is also available in download section
Join us a telegram group for support: https://t.me/LeOS_Support
Short overview: http://leos-gsi.de
So in theory you could flash this with Pixilify and have a Pixel ROM on Android 13???
Beta 8 won't boot (stuck on bootanimation) on my OnePlus nord 100
Booted
Device: 10orG
Codename - holland2
Bugs:
camera - 99% vendor issue
Maybe more
Sad but Huawei Mediapad M5 bootloops (Android 9 vendor), i swiched back to Phh v415.
I am running the LeOS 20 version. This rom is wonderfully fluid on my Cubot Kingkong mini 2 A64 device. It runs better than A12.1!
Yesterday January 24th I can't log in to Google sites from LeOS A13

That's the design of LeOS -> ungoogled GSI. Choose another GSI if you need google.

Hello,
I don't know if I posted in the right topic. Just to let you know I have a SMS issue with LeOS 20, explained here.
Thank you
Edit: this was a sim problem, nothing to do with LeOS or my phone. Forget my warning.
