Mediatek MT6735 phone,USB 038d:2002, reports as "Linux File-CD Gadget USB Device"
Hi....i have a homtom ht6 phone, MT6735 processor.
...**correction: its USB 0e8d:2002 ***
its screens is broken and i try to backup my data.(so i cant see..!..and touch)
usb debugging is turned on (adb),used before , but i have then set USB port to "charge only"...hmm...cant change that..
i have installed the SP Flash Tool along with its usb drivers being installed on win7. (total 4 drivers i guess)
i understand that newer phones (this android 5.1) do not support standard usb flash drive when connected, but the MTP protocoll....when connected to pc via usb.
When the phone is on, it reports on linux, lsusb, as mediatek Inc. 0e8d:2002, not being detected by linux filemanager....its a EFI file system.!
On Win7, it reports as "Linux File-CD Gadget USB device", a drive letter is assigned but size on win7 show 0 , zero.
googling that gadget driver i found it is a a two way driver, serial and flash drive.
no more info found.
Question 1: does anybody know details about this driver and how to use it?
Question 2: is indeed usb 0e8d:2002 the MTP port?...then howto change drivers in win7.
Question 3: as being USB on "chargeOnly", can ADB bein gused in recovery? (maybe someone can check that out)
many many thanks

[Q] trouble with USB driver

I wanted to use ADB to edit files on GTab but it refused to connect as ADB interface. The PC is Vista 32. I pulled the USB driver from the SKD (extras/google/usb_driver/android_winusb.inf) and added two lines according to instructions from this site. When GTab is connected, it has two connections shown in the notification (USB debugging connected and USB connected). On the PC side, it is recognized as a USB disk drive according to the Device Manager. I can uninstall it from the Device Manager and unplug it, but as soon as I plug it back the PC installs a driver automatically and GTab appears under Disk Drives in Device Manager. I also tried using "Update Driver Software" and browsed to the above usb_driver folder but the PC responded with "The best driver ... is already installed." and nothing changed. If I use the "Let me pick ..." and "have disk" option and browse to the driver android_winusb.inf, I get a message "The folder ... does not contain a compatible software driver for your device." Any suggestion on what I should try? Thanks.

USB driver for Cube K8GT

hi,
i wanted to start android development on a real, but not too expensive device.
So i bought this one: http://www.amazon.de/WiPad-Multitou...=sr_1_2?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1337256098&sr=1-2
The manufactorer is CUBE: http://www.cube-tablet.com/cube-k8g...8-1-2ghz-camera-8gb-capacitive-tablet-pc.html
It works fine and i wanted to connect it to my PC, running windows 7.
The problem is: I could not find any usb driver on the (chinese) manufactorer site.
In the device manager the device was listed as "K8GT_W" and marked with "no driver installed".
Can someone please tell me, if there is a driver for this device or how to use some "generic" usb device driver with this device?
I downloaded the google USB driver with the android SDK manager.
The i selected "update driver" from the device maanger + selected the google usb driver download directory.
This shows the message "K8GT_W could not be installed".
The manufacturers is CUBE:http://www.vaful.com/cube-k8gt-delu...roid-40-capacitive-touch-screen-p-100130.html
I also encountered the same problem!
me 2

[Q] Goclever Orion 70 A741 USB Drivers

I have bought a Goglever Orion 70 A741 tablet. Unfortunately Android debugger doesn't recognize the device (that works only as MTP device or USB Mass storage).
Obviosly I have installed Google USB drivers from SDK manager, and have enabled the USB debugging in the device settings.
This is the first time that I cannot debug apps with an Anroid device, so I suppose that there is some specific driver for this tablet that I must install, but in the official Goclever site there is no driver to download.
Any suggestion?

Android Gadget CDC Driver

I just lost my IMEI of my phone Canvas Spark Q380 (MT6582). I restored it via engineering mode. Now I want to go for a permanent fix of my IMEI. For that purpose, I have downloaded SN Write Station and all required drivers (USB Driver, Vcom driver and Android gadget CDC driver). First 2 drivers are successfully installed on my PC but I'm stuck with the CDC driver. Every time I install that, it says Not enough Storage Available, in fact, I have around 100GB space remaining on my "C:" Disk.
Need your Help! TIA

Vzw V10 USB Driver Issue

Trying to save on battery and not use the hotspot I thought I'd try USB tethering. I am able to USB tether and connect to the internet via USB tethering. However, there are two devices in Device Manager with yellow exclamation triangles: CDC Serial and LGE Android Phone. I've searched and searched but am unable to find the drivers for these devices.
CDC Serial
Hardware Ids
USB\VID_1004&PID_62C4&REV_0310&MI_02
USB\VID_1004&PID_62C4&MI_02
Install Error
E0000203
LGE Android Phone
Hardware Ids
USB\VID_1004&PID_62C4&REV_0310&MI_04
USB\VID_1004&PID_62C4&MI_04
Does anyone know where I can download the drivers for these? I've tried the LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.0.4 with no luck.
Thanks!
I finally found the drivers on the CD partition that came up when I plugged my phone into the computer. I quickly copied the files to the hard drive from the CD partition to the hard drive. Then I installed the drivers through Device Manager. I don't know if it really matters or not but I can't stand having any yellow triangles in Device Manager.
